Been a while since l commented but just wanted to say that your opening sequence was absolutely brilliantly done Brannon! I don't know how long that takes but it was extremely impressive! Looks like a great speaker , especially considering its lightweight plastic build!
I have 2 motion x600 a JBL Xtreme and this one in the blue color and for 130 bucks YO it makes you notice certain brands are a little over priced JBL Xtreme 3 sounds better in the midrange it gives a more even toned professional sound but the highs and lows are better on the boom 2 and the BASS and loudness is CRAZY on this and the light show in my opinion are a very underrated selling point they look great also I'm kind of tempted to get the green one too but I'm gonna chill out I have a good collection already
@@HarinathSrinivasX600 has Spatial Audio and HiRes sound. It’s perfect for your use case. The Boom 2 is more affordable and although you can adjust the bass to let it less ‘boom’ with the equalizer, the high end is better on the X600, Boom 2 high end sounds duller. Both speakers are great but have a different use case. X600 is great for home use in the living room for music and movie enthousiasts. Boom 2 is great for bassheads and party people. So, saying this, I would definitely recommend the SoundCore X600.
The Soundcore Boom 2 isn't available yet here in the Philippines but your review on the Soundcore Motion X600 persuaded me to buy it now. Plus, it is discounted for 35% off so I need to get it. :D
I’ve bought the Boom 2 last week. I was already familiar with other SoundCore speakers so I knew the quality was there. This speaker is incredible for its price. Low frequent energy can extend to as low as 48 Hz, the midrange is more than good enough and the highs are decent not great. The highs aren’t as pristine as for example the Motion+ or X600. But for Boom 2 it isn’t designed for a home stereo replacement. It’s made to play loud when giving a party with other people. It just has a different purpose. So I’m not bothered by the fact that it’s high end sounds a bit duller. If you’re looking for an affordable speaker, with lots of bass, that can play loud, this is the speaker to buy.
@@emiel333 I’d recommend. Bass is great, as is the build quality. Got it paired with my iPhone and iPad, along with some Liberty 4 NCs and Q45 over-ear headphones.
Since they wanted this to float, making the case plastic to keep it light, is the best option, also if you take this to the beach, salt water and metal are not best friends. I think this one is designed perfectly for what it's purpose is. and outdoor portable speaker .
Ok i get it the loudness is good how about the same deep bass of motion boom are they the same with deep bass?please let me know if the deep bass of the motion boom is better than motion boom 2 thanks...
Would you say that it performs better inside or outside? From what I hear, it sounds more like an outdoor speaker. I hope I’m right. I just ordered one off of Amazon for the discounted price of $99.99 strictly for outdoor use.
does party caste make any difference in sound. i did party caste, but i feel like they sound better on their own . i guess party vasting only for big hall room
Damn. I was looking to upgrade from a Tribit Stormbox Pro (which may have seen its end of life, was used almost daily, for an average of 6 hours, for 2 years -- mostly indoor, connected to the laptop AND mobile phone) and was really in a bog between the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus and the JBL Xtreme 3 (was a bit ticked off with the Xtreme 4 tbh)... looks like I'll just wait for the Boom 2 to be available in my part of the world, then. And yeah, take my sub(scription), torpedoes not included though.
I own two motion booms and they sound good imo. I listened for hours of the differences between the boom 2 and the booms. I own 2 boom 2s and 2 boom pluses two. It is pretty bad ass having two boom 2 and two pluses hooked up through party cast though. Imo they went with a warmer sound on the boom 2 and i tried forever to try to get it to sound as crisp as some of the beats and vocals that the boom OG can produce. sound core CLAIMS that the boom 2 goes louder but id say the boom goes maybe 10 percent louder, granted its not as much bass its still very good. The boom 2 does indeed put out more bass if you are next to it close and if you put it high on a shelf by a wall and a ceiling or a bathroom wall it produces a great sound and the lights are cool. the plus as a pair will blow the boom 2 away outside. Id describe the plus as being good but really good outside as a pair the farther away you are. In the end ill keep both boom 2s, both pluses and yes ill keep the OG booms too because on some songs like edm and high vocal music its just so clear with my settings of course. I also use my own extra eq where i can add more eq and more bass but turn the settings down as i increase volume. That really makes the boom OG come alive close to what the boom 2 is. Id say for rock music the boom 2 excels. Can anyone tell me why the boom sounds brighter and crisper and goes louder than the boom 2? Is it because the boom 2 uses two SILK dome tweeters and one race track driver and the boom uses two Titanium drivers? Im trying to understand this. Or maybe its because of the crossover they chose with the boom 2?
It seems Soundcore has two versions of the motion boom 2. One with two woofers, no twitters, no lights (30W), currently sold on Aliexpress. The second one is the motion boom with X2 twitters with one subwoofer (80W) and light effects.
Not much into bass. How is x600 compared to boom 2. I use it for movie or general use. Here in Sg boom 2 is jus 60$ more than x600. Help me choose one.
Thank you so much for the review.. I wanna buy one of those speakers, however can you help me decide which one is better in terms of sound loudness and quality the w-king x10 or soundcore boom 2 ? thanks
I asked the Support, they said no. I asked for a Firmware Update with the possibility to use USB-Sticks and SD-Adapters :) They send this to the Ideas or smth. like that :)
I think this speaker is a much better value than the Boom2Plus. At $249.99, there’s just a few too many speakers that outperform it for less. If they drop it down between $179.99 - $199.99 that would make more sense.
I just got mine two days ago and omg I am in love. The sound is amazing. It gets very loud and the bass is powerful. I love it.

I'm still considering buying x600 as I'm not much into bass. Just wanna use it for regular movies, etc
what's your thought on x600 vs boom 2?

How is the bass
The production quality of your videos is phenomenal bro. That's really awesome. That's some frackin art frfr
lol thanx Mags
Appreciate that 🙏
I've got the Motion 300 and absolutely love it.
Thanks for the content.
Yeah that’s a good one for sure 👍

Hello Mr. No “d” nice review sir ..watching from philippines😊
Awesome hello from 🇺🇸
i think its not yet available here in 🇵🇭
Hi from Portugal. Very, very nice intro...and review of course. Congratulations
Hello Welcome 🙏
Sold, just placed my order for it. Plastic works. Less weight for travel restrictions on flights.
I have the speaker I love it I own three of them I have two black ones and a blue one highly recommended
Nice review and Thanks, No D!
Nice one,really like this brand🔥🔥

Hello, greetings. This Soundcore Boom 2 speaker. Is it really better than the JBL Charge 5? 🤔
Much better
Way better
HAHAHA 🤣 those candles with the music in the intro blew me away
Ok i get it the loudness is good how about the same deep bass of motion boom are they the same with deep bass?please let me know if the deep bass of the motion boom is better than motion boom 2 thanks...
The motion boom has 30 watts of power and the motion boom 2 has 80 watts. So obviously the latter one has more bass.
Motion boom plus is 80 watts genius
@@IamJay02 Ever heard of woofer excursion? If it can move more air it will be louder.
I really hope they make a boom plus version of this

Hey Brannon! KaBoom🎳need it! Thanks for posting this video.
Anytime brother
I would like to buy this Soundcore Boom 2 speaker. And I noticed that it's all made of plastic. I would like to know if the plastic grid is fragile?
great content man!

how to connect my dj controller to this speaker if there is no 3.5 mm aux input? that`s such a fail from soundcore
New sub! 🎉

Thank you so much for the review.. I wanna buy one of those speakers, however can you help me decide which one is better in terms of sound loudness and quality the w-king x10 or soundcore boom 2 ? thanks
It lacks some detail in the mids, in comparison to the lows & highs.😊
Soundcore BOOM 2 vs w-king x10. I have x-king and I don't know if it's worth replacing
Please reply. These are the 2 I am considering. Thank you.
I just don’t like the build quality going with plastic, it looks cheaply made in my opinion. For the price, it’s a pretty solid speaker.
Show me a Bluetooth speaker NOT made with plastic
can you connect a usb card reader and play music from a sd card inserted to a usb reader stick?
Maybe with using the type c but the typeA is used for the power bank feature

Yes
I just wish Soundcore would up the build quality just a little.
sony speaker have been having customizable lights for year. Soundcore probaly stole he idea with the light in the passive radiators from sony xg300
BOOM 2 or boom plus ?
I would say Boom 2. Has the same power (80 watts) but it has rgb lights. And I do think the Boom 2 has better sound quality.
Do you have there 2 @@emiel333
what are these sound effects 😂
Il belive the wattage when I see it on the bench
