Really pretty creation. As I port this, Easter is upon us. One does not have t celebrate this time of year for religious reasons. I personally find joy in the renewal of growth that is appearing everywhere. With spring in mind, one could use tiny dots of green throughout the tree to simulate buds and very tiny beads for flowers. Mill Hill makes some very small beads in broad reange of colors. One could certainly leave some patches of snow on the ground interrupted by occasional tufts of grass and crocuses. Perhaps a few pieces of large glitter thsame color as the fioers on the tree to simulate dropped petals. One could get this one done just in time to start planning for the summer tree followed by the autumn scene. Now that you have all four seasons completed, it’s time to design a motorized dais or turntable to attach them to. You would only need one light source so that the only tree that lit up is the one that is in the front. Of course the only way this could be completed is with an electronic music box that plays Vivaldi’s Four seasons. You may notice that I am just full of brilliant ideas if someone else is doing the work. I refuse to admit that I am already tring to remember where I put that stash of wire. Oh yea, That microwave turntable I saved is somewhere. Uh, does anyone have any ideas on how to make some tiny birds? And a little black cat for the Autumn one? It could use a tiny jack o’ lantern, too. Yes…..I do get carried away. It’s taking me forever to get the alternator rebuilt and back on my truck because I decided to paint the housing. Now I will have degrease and clean the entire engine bay and see what else can be easily removed and painted. Thanks so much for the wonderful instructions and inspiration.
Hi Steve, Super funky Super cool looking I love it thank you so much for sharing Steve, Merry Christmas to you & all your family & a very Prosperous new year Lin 👍❤️🎄❄️
Yet another great video Steve. I wonder if you had deliberately put some of the white glitter into the resin, whether it would have looked like snow falling ??????????
Lovely! I’m in the experimental phase, figuring out what floats and what sinks, etc. I’ve made some insane yet lovely pieces with my learning curve. You’ve taught me SO much!!
So lovely!! I'm going to make one for my granddaughter after Christmas ⛄🎄... She loves snow globes. Thanks for the idea. Stay safe, you do you, and stay crafty 👍👍🛎️🔔🦋🦋💕💕 Merry Christmas 🎄⛄
This is very pretty, and the technique could be used for so many other things, too! What a bummer I won't have the time to make this for this year's Christmas anymore - but I'll probably end up making that other kind of a scene, if someone interrupts me while I'm cooking the Christmas dinner! 😄 Have a lovely Christmas!
I bet the air was blue when you dropped that bag of glitter! I think I would have had a mega tantrum lol. The ball with the free came out really lovely Steve. What a good idea! Merry Christmas! God bless you and yours.
Oh, I LOVE this little scene, and your wee tree, Steve! ❤😊 I just watched your how-to on making a wire tree. I hope the wires I have are strong enough to try this. I have gazillions of glass beads... 😊 Ohmigosh, if I'd spilled a bag of glitter, I would *definitely* make a scene! A noisy, blue one! 😅
Steve I love your beautiful Christmas tree I ordered through your channel the mold so excited to try this out my hands won’t let me work with the wire but the old brain is working love your artistic brain Merry Christmas 🤩
The tree in the sphere looks beautiful, pity your mould came damaged but it does give it a frosty look to the scene. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I've decided to do round resin lights or paperweights for Christmas '24. I have to plan so far ahead because I make all my gifts. This year...it's crochet blankets! You said the top of the sphere was "scuffed". How did that happen?? Did you scrape it...or was the inside of the mold scratched up. Might seem minor...but I'm gathering info...and looking to avoid issues once I get started, likely December. Thanks.
This turned out lovely! There are so many possibilities that you have opened up for us! I can't wait to try something similar, but with a different mold. Thank you Steve 😊!!! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄!
I think my husband is going to ban me from watching your videos because you keep giving me all sorts of ideas for things to make! 🤣🤣🤣 Could you do a video on how to polish the sphere where it's not shiny? I've tried a couple of different things and can't get the shine back after sanding on things like ornaments and coasters. I'm scared to try on a sphere as I'm afraid I'll make it wonky and not a sphere anymore.
Hii I'm new to this channel! Can someone please tell me what happens if you want to put things in a resin ball but you use UV resin instead? He said this slow cure resin workes really well for projects like these, but I want to make them and only have UV resin so what happens if I use that instead? Thank you in advance
You could make one for each season. An autumn one would be beautiful (my favourite season 😉). The Christmasy winter one you made was very beautiful, and such a clever idea and technique. :)
But you'd be so great at making that sort of scene 😂 ❤
This was amazing!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
I loved this video. Well done Steve.
So sweet 💕 and special ❤😊
Tree very well made

Stay safe, you do you, and stay crafty 👍👍🛎️🔔🦋🦋💕💕
Merry Christmas 🎄⛄
Steve, I dip my " hand made" tools in UV to stop them from damaging my molds.
Lovely video - but can I ask where you get the LED light stand from? You don't list it in the description.
Love this totally. My mom god rest her sole would have gone ape for this for her small Christmas tree area. Beautiful job. Merry Christmas

Ohhh its lovely. I want to try making one.
Bad news about the glitter. I breathed on mine & am now randomly decorated in chunky glitter.
That is really pretty! I love it!

That is just beautiful!!! Thanks again for providing a few minutes of calm in a chaotic time of year!! Merry Christmas to you and your family….
The tree in the sphere looks beautiful, pity your mould came damaged but it does give it a frosty look to the scene. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
That is gorgeous! I love it! Merry Christmas to you and yours Steve!
This is so beautiful. You are a true artist. Can you post the link to the tree. I’d love to see how it’s made!

Thin top coat over will shine it up

How do you prevent the frosting look right at the top?

Using Mod Podge is fine, but personally I’d try the Extreme glitter Mod Podge. Would it work?
Did you make the tree itself? It almost looks like a non animated snow globe.
Yes, he did. There is a video of it
There is his video on tree
Steve, where are you getting your teexpert deep pour resin? It’s never available on the UK site or Amazon, just the 1:1 ratio is ever available 😢
I can’t find the link for the tree! 😢
Can you add the link for how to make the tree, please?
It's on his craft youtube. It's pretty cool.
❤❤❤

Glitter is known as the herpes of the art and craft world lol. I love your projects I’m learning so much. Merry Christmas
❤

I would like to put fairy lights in the resin instead wonder if anyone as tried that.
I can't seem to get my resin clear. I've tried everything. ugh...
😂😂😂😂😂😅
omg thats why my new bottles of resin cured differently. 2-1 cures more slowly that 1-1, I feel like a nob!
lol
