Dreamworks really does do redemption so well. The Bad Guys, Megamind, Sinbad, Prince of Egypt, are some of my examples. They flesh out their story and allows them to further question where they stand in everything. It wasn’t rushed, and I feel overall that this movie was really great
That seems to be the main contributing factor in many of DreamWorks’ animated films: redemption. When you think about it, each big name animation studio follows certain themes in their own animated flicks.
@@Jakes-Calm no, Shrek is one of my favorite movies, I was just saying how Dreamwoks can make two completely different types of movies, like how Prince of Egypt and Shrek are two different styles of movies, and yet they are both still amazing!

Fun fact about snakes! (Coming from a snake owner and a snake lover haha!) Snakes actually do taste the air! To be more specific, they smell with their tongue, instead of their nose! Same with many other reptiles. That's why they flick their tongues in and out alot! And the scene where the snake changes clothes during the heist near the beginning. Snakes have a thin layer of skin over their scales, and as they grow, they'll grow a new layer of skin, and sead the old skin because it has become too small. Of course, they don't really do it just like that on a command haha.

All the twists in this movie were super obvious. That's like rule #1 to making bad guy leads likeable, have another character be worse. I was really hoping they weren't going to go that route and do something new. It's like writing for preschoolers. Honestly, it kind of ruined the movie for me a little bit. Except for one thing... the reveal that the governor used to be a criminal herself and got reformed, working her way up to a position of power (through respect, not sneakiness like the fox stereotype suggests). I honestly predicted that too earlier in the film, but I'm glad they included that. It does work to the writing's advantage. It would've been more meaningful if her past was public knowledge though. I'm also glad they still went to jail in the end. 95% of the time they just get let off the hook cause they're "good now."
Just watched the movie last night. We need more stories like this with these types of animals and hope that some day, most peoples negative perception of these amazing animals can change for the better, especially with snakes and spiders. Mr Snake's con of Marmalade was the most satisfying bit for me and I am so glad that Dreamworks picked this movie up because I don't know if Disney would have done the books justice. Fact: Snakes do indeed smell the air with their tongue to either sense danger, to locate prey, or to take in information about their surroundings, then they stick the two forks of their tongue with the smell particles into a special organ on the roof of their mouth called the Jacobson's organ which is where the animal gets the info on it's surroundings. At 11:49 Mr. Snake was shedding his skin. As snakes grow throughout their life, their skin doesn't so the old skin sloughs off and newer skin is generated and it also removes parasites. They can't just crawl out of their old skin like Mr. Snake did, they need a rough surface to rub on so it comes off easier and it usually comes off in one piece including their eyes called eye caps. It's kind of similar to us growing out of our old clothes. Sorry snake nerd here lol. Love your reactions Nick, :) keep it up.

I thought this was a great kids movie. It was a mix between Oceans 11 and Reservoir Dogs.
Omg I wanted to see this movie dnd please watch top cat the movie
In case Nick doesn’t know what Top Cat is, it’s a TV show about Manhattan alley cats constantly hatch get-rich-quick schemes. And a police officer trying to evict them from the alley.
Created by the same guys who did Tom and Jerry and The Flintstones
