The weights are made of zink for a stock 30 series.
Aluminum is available for some racing aplications.
Best to use some wire wool and soapy water to scrube them clean then relubricate with Moly dry lube ( could use some wet inside the weight area but more cleaing will be required ).
Block sand the clutch faces with some 120 grit if there is any wear or rust.
Nice! I've never seen the inside of one of those. Looks like theres a lot more to it then I expected. Heres a quick question, how far beyond the crank shaft does the driver clutch protrude? Does it stick out more than the shaft itself? (obviously the bolt does) Just wondering if I have enough clearance for one of these.

I usually use a sonic cleaner from harbor freight it works amazing! And all you need is dish soap and water
When I take off from a dead stop my go kart jolts real bad, several times, like something slipping. especially with the extra weight of another person. Is it the torque convertor or do I need a new belt? is the torque convertor bad or can it be cleaned or repaired? Thanks very much.

Hey my driver don't come apart like that there are three hex screws on back is that why ? Should I take them out

i have a 30 series . on the slightest incline it wont go it start to wear the belt. on flat land it runs pretty good.i cleaned the drive pulley. i dont think it had a brass washer im going t double check that but the srings were dirty they didnt look stretched. can u help me?
Trust me u. Have to take the pull start off to tighten it do I learn hard way and it fell of and I lost spring brass broke had to buy another now
I just got one of these manco carts with the 6.5 on it. Runs awesome but the thing wont go. the belt tightens and the toque converter slips? not the driver on top, it works fine, I just cant understand how these work. Could someone explain what my problem could be. I can twist the torque converter with my hand and it doesnt turn the sprocket.
