Clipping is 100% gate kept! Clip everything! Clip individual tracks, clip groups, clip busses!! Tiny clips everywhere = LOUD

Jen the thing is lighting up it’s soft clipping. Shaving off peaks. You can push hard into it but be wary because you kill dynamics, however in some sounds that’s a good thing lol

Clippers - they cut the highes peaks from the Signal - so there for you can Push the Single More in the Front without losing that much Headroom. Its that simple, but very effectiv
