    If you are having trouble with conductivity you an add a little pink Himalayan salt, or sea salt into your gel. Make sure that all four prongs are on the skin. If you’re still having problems, please contact 7e Beauty, the makers of Myolift.

    Hi Kathy. I prefer the Myolift. It has the conductive bar and it never zaps you because its true micro current.

    This ladie's a total joy. I like her. I just bought this product. I am not new at all to microcurrent, so I am a little disconcerted that I feel nothing at all, even on its highest settings. It makes me feel it isn't actually doing anything. I noticed in this video, the lady said she felt at one point it was a little too intense. I don't seem to feel that.

      Hi! Thanks for liking my video. I appreciate your comments. True Microcurrent should not be felt at all so don't be concerned that you are not getting the result. Make sure to check the conductivity bar when you are working to make sure it is making a connection. But everyone is different. I tend to be pretty sensitive around the eye area, but others are not.

    Thanks Gloria. So helpful. I have been trying to decide between this, NuFace and Clareblend mini and your video has tilted me towards this one. I have had CACI in London which I can't find here and no one in NYC who uses Myolift. I have bought too many useless gadgets and trying to make a real educated decision

      If the skin is thin, like around the eyes you can feel a little buzzing sensation. The muscles should never jump like a tens unit though

    Which microcurrent machine do you prefer? The Myolift or the one you used in a previous video? Which is the better machine for the money?

  • @hippieglamgirl

    Gloria, do you know what wavelength this machine uses? i've heard square is the best for facial firming, but I don't see any specs anywhere on the specifics of this device. Thanks so much for the great video!

    • @GloriaGoodman
      @GloriaGoodman  9 років тому +1

      Hi Sara, good question.The Myolift uses a combination of square waves with synergistic (wavy) waves. This combo is more effective for penetration deeper into the muscle.

    Hi Gloria, I really like the two prong ability over the NuFace which I find challenging to get any lift out of (I guess you can with the Elle prongs but nothing like using two prongs). I spend all this time using it and am not sure that I am getting any results. Have you used the NuFace or know of anyone that has compared? Thank you!

    • @GloriaGoodman
      @GloriaGoodman  10 років тому +1

      Hi Susan! I do know of people who have used the NuFace and have gotten some result but I honestly don't understand how it can be true micro current without having two prongs. The shortening & lengthening of the muscle need to be manipulated with the two handles so I'm not sure how the NuFace works. I'm thinking its probably more Galvanic Current than true Micro Current, but that's just my guess.

      Thank you! I agree with you. Also, you say
      If you have metal implants in your body this treatment is not for you. It is considered a contraindication. I had jaw surgery and they tied things together with metal in my jaw. I have not felt anything with the NuFace. Do you think this would prevent me from using the Myolift?

    • @GloriaGoodman
      @GloriaGoodman  9 років тому

      Susan So sorry I did not see your question earlier. Having metal in your jaw is definitely a contraindication and micro current is not recommended for you.

      Gloria Goodman Thank you for your informative video! I'm not a teenager ! but I have braces on my bottom teeth, that could be a contraindication for using micro current?

    I purchased myolift a week ago and have been struggling to get the bar to go solid . it works in about 1/2 the areas and the other half....not at all. I can see results where it works , but am frustrated that I cannot get it to work all over . Do you have problems with this ? Maybe I got a bad machine ? Would love your input . BTW, I called the company and they said I was not using enouh gel, so I tried more gel , more time , different angles,harder , lighter and no luck . I practice around 40 minutes a day ...Love you videos ...Thanks !

    • @GloriaGoodman
      @GloriaGoodman  10 років тому

      I'm so sorry you are having problems with the conductivity. I have not had that problem. If you are using a lot of gel and keeping it wet you should not have that problem. Have you tried using a different gel? I have found that their seaweed gel dries up very quickly & needs re-wetting. I prefer to use a medical conductivity gel that is thicker & stays wet longer. If you are using a gel and keeping it wet, keeping all the prongs on the skin,etc. you should not be having any problems. If you do, I would advice contacting the company again and having them replace the unit. You have a year warrantee.
      Good Luck!- GG

      Thank you GG . I did contact them , and it looks like it is not working correctly , so I believe they will exchange this one for me.. . waiting to hear back.I could not imagine that it could be so difficult to get a solid line connection . Sometimes, I do get one , though and I do think I am seeing results with those few times . I usually use for 40 min and get a solid line for maybe 15 min of that time . I sure hope a new one will do better than that! Thanks ! Marion

      They sent me a new one , which also had problems....so they sent me another new one , which works , but now the bar seems to be solid even when I take it off the skin LOL..., which makes me skeptical .... but I will try to get on schedule of use and see if it makes a difference ...the ultimate test !

    Hi Gloria, I just got my new Myolift from Amazon! But it came with no battery charge. I have been charging it for 18 hours now. I test it --I disconnect the charger and try to turn it on -- but nothing! How many hours does it take to charge this thing? Thank you!

    • @GloriaGoodman
      @GloriaGoodman  8 років тому

      +Teresa Taningco Kaldor
      Sounds like you might have received a faulty unit. Mine came with a charge and only needed a few hours boost. I would keep it plugged in for a 24 hr period just to be sure, but if at that point you're not getting a charge I would send it back to Amazon. They are very good at returns. I've had my Myolift for over 2 years now and have only had to charge it twice!
      Sorry you had this trouble. You might want to contact Myolift directly in California and tell them about this.
      Good luck!

    Do you think the suzanne somers facemaster is too strong to be microcurrent?

    • @GloriaGoodman
      @GloriaGoodman  9 років тому

      Hi Bandi! I was not familiar with Suzanne Somer's Facemaster till your question so I watched some of her videos. It appears to be true micro current but without further info on how many amps it uses I really don't know if its too strong to be micro current. The only thing I did see was that her device has settings for different areas of the face which regulate the amount of current. It does not however, have a conductivity bar that indicates the connection the way the Myolift does. I find this to be really helpful.

    Hey Gloria, I purchased the Myolift and after using it 5 times I find I'm still having problems keeping the solid black bar, even when all probes are touching my face. Could this be a problem with the machine?

    • @GloriaGoodman
      @GloriaGoodman  9 років тому

      OK here's what I find. The skin must be very wet to maintain the connection. If you are having trouble keeping the bar solid, try spraying your face with a mineral water (regular water works too) on top of the conductive gel. If the bar is still not staying solid I would contact the manufacturer.
      Good Luck!

      Yes Diane, you can use the Myolift on your neck. I usually hold one probe under the jaw and then use the other moving from the clavicle up to meet the stationary probe.

      Yes , I did go to 7e but their ultra looks nothing like yours.. yours looks like their regular home use machine.. am I missing something? So confused .. ultra on their site is about $4000.00 and home Use is $265.00 … Does your say it’s an ultra ?

    • @GloriaGoodman
      @GloriaGoodman  5 років тому +1

      Yes you are correct. However when I purchased this little machine 4 years ago it was called the Myolift Ultra. Since then they have created a larger, more professional machine that is called the Ultra, where the home use one is simply the Myolift. Mine has 2 modes, the pro has 5 or 6, but the home device is just as powerful and works just as well. I have tried both.

      If you were a new aesthetician with a Modest budget and could only choose one , which were service your clients better of the 2 microcurrent machines you own which would you choose. The only catch is you don’t own the ultra but the home use Myolift ... so your choice would be between your pro 9001 and the home used miles left which would service your clients better?
