Thanks for mentioning what Churchill did to India. I’m from Bengal. But of course it’s ultimate nuttery to assume he was worse than Hitler. And that’s saying something
@checkeredcheese Well let's see the famine was first caused by the Japanese blockade of the bay of bengal along with their invasion on neighbouring Burma which had lead to strain on rice yields. Rice crop disease, flooding, poor crop yield estimates, rice hoarding by Hindi rice merchants, scorched earth policies, war time inflation compounded the blockade leading to a famine that effected Bengalis not involved in the war effort. Your typical hit piece on Churchill is using a bunch of quotes about his views on Indians and then stressing about his decision to divert one grain shipment to Greece (which was also suffering from a famine at the time) instead of India whilst ignoring the over 1 million tons of grain that were sent to India between June 1943 and June 1944. Indian economic historians such as Tirthankar Roy and Amartya Sen give a much more detailed and statistical analysis of the causes and failures that led to the Bengal Famine neither of them place blame on Churchill for the famine.
British empire met its sunset, since war monger Churchill dug a tomb for the Nation step by step:Boer war,Gallipoli disaster ww1,Norway fiasco , Attack on Mers El-Kebir (thousand French sailor deaths 1940), Bengal famine (30 million souls perished) etc.He promoted a war,but didn't have muscle to show in Poland & Dunkirk theaters. We need to remember that Stalin and Soviet Union was on the allied side in WWII and the West abandoned half of Europe to him before and after the war, replacing one insane tyrant with another one, who was just as insane and brutal, just against different people. Also, people in West tend to forget that Japan was even worse in Asia than Germany was in Europe, but since no one in the Allied forces really cared that much about Asian lives and the US forgave all their insane war crimes against humanity in exchange for scientific research, they aren't brought up that much in the West, even today Tl;dr; WWII was the culmination of human vileness and evil at a global scale. There were no saints or righteous winners or heroes in there, just battered survivors. Especially the leadership in each country engaged in WWII could have been court marshalled for various crimes against humanity, if they had not been the winners And lets not forget that the two biggest single war crime acts in human history were committed by the US, the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, two civilian cities leveled after the war had already been won. So no, the US was not some pure righteous saviour in WWII as is often taught in US nationalistic history that is full of propaganda

My take on Churchill with respect to the war: You have to separate Hitler's evil and his perpetrating the Holocaust from Churchill's actions and motivations as they didn't factor that much into it. Churchill's opposition to Hitler was that of a man defending a major threat to his empire. As such he took every effort at containing Hitler, for right or wrong, and it actually brought about the Anglosphere's involvement in the war in the end. Guys like Cooper probably are sympathetic to the "pro white" lol crowd, but I think his ostensible argument way back when if I remember correctly was more that Churchill guaranteed we would all be sucked into the conflict that was really just going to consume Germany and USSR, which for us was like not a problem. I don't really know if that pans out, personally, but I don't think we should be painting Churchill in this protagonist light, juxtaposed against Hitler's evil. Churchill only seems kind of good in this context because Hitler was so evil. Remove Hitler's stink from the room and just look at Churchill and all his vile little deeds and failures, and he doesn't seem that great to me. Even FDR was not *that* great. We just remember him against the backdrop of the Great Depression and fighting WW2. He made lots of mistakes and screwed a lot of Americans in various ways. So Kyle, what Churchill did to the Bengalis was directly related to WW2. It happened during WW2. Bengalis starved because of food being seized to feed British troops.
And Stalins government had intentionally murdered more humans than any existing government in 1939 when Germany hadn’t even been accused of anything like that. But we are supposed to support the insane pro-Soviet policy of FDR and Churchill and take the ahistorical view that German Danzig remaining under Poland was worth starting WW2.

Actually read up on the causes of the Bengal famine. Churchill is hardly the villain.
@@samhirst2830 go on...?
However, it is fair and important to point out, that Churchill and the allied forces are also responsible for some absolutely horrible atrocities committed during and particularly at the aftermath of WWII.
We need to remember that Stalin and Soviet Union was on the allied side in WWII and the West abandoned half of Europe to him before and after the war, replacing one insane tyrant with another one, who was just as insane and brutal, just against different people.
Also, people in West tend to forget that Japan was even worse in Asia than Germany was in Europe, but since no one in the Allied forces really cared that much about Asian lives and the US forgave all their insane war crimes against humanity in exchange for scientific research, they aren't brought up that much in the West, even today
Tl;dr; WWII was the culmination of human vileness and evil at a global scale. There were no saints or righteous winners or heroes in there, just battered survivors. And lets not forget that the two biggest single war crime acts in human history were committed by the US, the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, two civilian cities leveled after the war had already been won. Tucker Hot Take: Lincoln was the chief villain of the Civil War.
His podcast shot up to number #1 pretty quickly. Your hysteria only helps his podcast which is great by the way. Listen to Fear and Loathing in the Bew Jerusalem. It's about the founding of modern Israel. He talks about the Holocaust a little bit. I guarantee you he is not a Holocaust denier or an anti-semite.
You need to read more historical books.
Remember when Christopher Hitchens was asked to name some good writers he reads he said I like tucker carlsen how far tucker has fallen. It seems he thinks to be relevant he must go right out there.
Diplomacy can be a weapon. The Mongols also made peaceful overtures when advantageous for luring their enemies into a strategically or tactically disadvantaged position

Tucker thinks Russia invading Ukraine is cool too
Kyle, Darryl Cooper was a guest on your wife's show 10 months ago.
Underhanded tactics known as misdirection is an ancient practice, example making peace to lower another country guard then doing a full scale invasion!
5 minutes before we get the “we fought the wrong enemy in WW2” comments
Patton did say that
Far too many of them to be comfortable.
I'd like to think they're all trolls, but worryingly some of them are probably genuinely held beliefs.
LOL the idea that Germany was trying to take over the world while the British already had.
Inconvenient truth. 😂
ARE THESES TWO MEN UNEDUCATED?? CHURCHILL DID ABSOLUTELY DO SOME VILE THINGS. HE'S NOT SOMEONE WHO HAD GREAT HISTORY. HOWEVER THINK CHURCHILL "MAY " WELL HAVE HAD A TINY INVOLVEMENT IN BEATING NATZI GERMANY. PEACE TO PALESTINE 🇵🇸 AND THE WESTBANK 🇵🇸 🙏
My uncle -- my father's brother -- was in the Cape Town Highlanders and captured at Tobruk (North Africa).
He spent 3 years in a German prisoner of war camp.
He was well built and 6'1. When he arrived home he was under 95-pounds after 6 weeks of fattening up.
Thing is, he never carried a grudge. He says he was never maltreated. He starved but said the guards starved too as there was no food for anyone.
Yeah man you’re totally right. The idea that the victor writes history is preposterous. The idea that anything other than the WW2 curriculum for high school kids could be plausible is dumb. The guy is making living screaming to the world about the falsehoods and lies of the American/Israel genocide in Gaza while also questioning the idea that one might have to rethink the narrative of WW2 is dumb. The lack of self awareness is so cringe it’s hard to watch.
I didn’t realize Hitler even tried to cover it up. Trump literally is like Hitler.

This is nauseating.

"Maybe we should just let them go?"
"Nah..."
The problem is that Tucker probably doesn’t care who sees this, bc he’ll just lie and his minions will just agree bc they don’t critically think for themselves, they’ve surrendered their critical faculties.
rofl he conveniently ignores that when Hitler "calls for peace" in september 39 offering to give back some of Poland, he is doing so knowing he has already *signed a secret treaty with Stalin* to divide up all of Poland >.>
The fact that he got introduced as a "historian" is pretty irritating
WW2 had multiple villains on both sides.
🌏⌚️
Trump might say there were good people on both sides
According to the left, there was only one evil.
Ya my country was evil for what we did to Japan it's just uncalled for and unusually cruel to women and children
The craziest thing about them is that they likely agree with Churchill on his treatment of Indians and Bengalis!!
I think it's time too find a nice garvel pit for Tucker and incel Danny Elfman
"but what about?" and these people went to university like Bannon__ but what about "we are not reasonable people" Bannon
Friendly reminder that there was a unanimous consensus on Jewish Problem in Europe as per Elite. It was in UK and mainland Europe too. That is why Britain signed Balfour declaration.
So the idea of Jewish problem would not have been such a factor for the European elite during WW2. And The argument for peace was seriously considered by Britain..... Lord Halifax would be a example.
bruh, we should be allowed to question whether the nazis were bad. but you're not allowed to think a dude can wear a dress. what part of freedom don't u understand?
What's the deal with the tuck talking so fast? He's lying faster?
Exactly 😂😅🤣😆😁😄😃
Tucker Carlson absolutely wants you to see this video. It's still up, go look at it, instead of having kyle tell you what to think about it.
25 year old video is a bit of a reach. Anyone here still saying everything you said 25 years ago or do people change? Let's see how this vid ages in 25 years before making any judgement
He has apologized for these statements
So you're main compliment is the word "chief" villian, not villian itself concerning Churchill.
yes
Yes, why is this so hard for you people to grasp? Churchill was a terrible person and we shouldn’t just ignore his actions but that does not make him the chief villain of WW2. Especially when two of his competitors did mass genicides
Buchanan! That computes.
