Congrats, but bummer it had the sizzle on the switch i have a fender with that still your face was priceless 😅 and the background tune it's excellent 👌
Cheers James, oops nearly called you Jams - I think that works mate - Jams Orton! Gutted it wasn't up to scratch - but there's always exceptions! Cheers 😎
It’s flabbergasting that the highest tier of made in Mexico fenders has more quality control issues than the squiers that I’ve owned. I’ve had the vintera 50’s strat which had string ping and bad setup out of the factory, the vintera 60’s jag which had the driest fretboard of all time (Pau ferro) along with string ping, the vintera 60’s Jazzmaster which had string ping, and the vintera II nocaster which was decent out of the box but had far too glossy of a paint job imo. These issues inspired me to migrate to made in Japan if I’m not buying American.
Your first mistake was buying a brand new fender. Your second mistake was buying a vintera

Sometimes GAS must be deposited in the loo.

I hear you Nick - It's either going to be MiJ or Squier for my next attempt at JM bliss... Cheers 😎
You mean Jazzaster?
That's got a ring, some hum and a fizz to it! 😎
