    Archers,
Line up your elbow with the point of your arrow and expand. Let the release surprise you. Just remain focused on your target. Enjoy this post as this instructor is Excellent! 🏹

I like that using the feathers strategy as knowing when to release the shot (the other one I know of is feeling the arrow tip on your finger). The problem with me is I tend to switch my arrows up a LOT (and everything else ever) and I wear shooting gloves so I probably can’t feel much anyway.
Do you get a cleaner release with a finger tab? I only ever used them at the beginners session, to me they’re just another thing I have to worry about dropping but that’s just me

I personally get a cleaner release with a tab.

That’s interesting, I reckon I’ve probably done that subconsciously before, is it a bit like drag except your head follows the string slightly?
I try to relax my hand when I release, but sometimes I have one that’s too “aggressive” but by accident when my hand kind of goes backwards but idk if that’s a good thing or not.
That’s interesting how much you tilt the bow despite having an arrow shelf, I’ve seen others make that work too, I have at times aswell. I get that it makes a V channel a bit like a crossbow but I was told apparently it can make the arrow go up even more because of the archers paradox.
I’ve not completely written it off yet (I still tilt that much with other shooting styles too), but with Mediterranean split finger I’ve been getting good results tilting about at about 1 o’ clock. Oh and most of my bows don’t have arrow shelves either.

In life sometimes you need the deep hock and then relace! Find your anchor point, and then open in life and then relace! Sometimes you need a clicker in life when you're lost. And you will find yourself hitting the point.

It's called a " Kwik lok " if you're hunting and your up in a tree and you hang your bow this will hold onto the arrow so the wind or something else doesn't hit the arrow and let it fall to the ground.
