An extraordinary group of musicians performs a rendition of the Lalah Hathaway classic "Something" by David Foster and Brenda Russell during the International Jazz Day All-Star Global Concert in Osaka, Japan. Featuring Hathaway (vocals), Roy Hargrove (trumpet), Terri Lyne Carrington (drums), Esperanza Spalding (bass, vocals), Kris Bowers (keyboard), Jonathan Butler (guitar, vocals), John Beasley (keyboard, Musical Director), Josh Johnson (flute), Steve Turre (trombone), Mike Cottone (trumpet), Claudio Roditi (trumpet) and Jonathan Pinson (percussion).

Somethin' - Lalah's signature song! Loved it at first listen on her first release in 1990. This performance some 30+ years later is more complex still; a classic gem 💎.
