2023 News: Delphi Murders a Sacrifice to Odin?

- On February 14, 2017, the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were discovered near the Monon High Bridge Trail, part of the Delphi Historic Trails in Delphi, Indiana, U.S., after the girls had disappeared from that trail the previous day. The murders have received extensive media coverage, in part due to video and audio recordings released by law enforcement that came from German's smartphone, which recorded an individual believed to be the killer. The filings from Carroll County Prosecutor Nicholas McLeland came about a week after Allen's attorneys, Andrew Baldwin and Bradley Rozzi, alleged that victims Liberty "Libby" German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, were sacrificed as part of a pagan cult ritual when they were murdered off a hiking trail in Delphi, Indiana, six years ago.

Please remember where the information originally came from which was the grandmother who pointed at BH and his son. It doesn't even have to be about odinism basically BH was staying at Ron's property and his son was staying in RV hanging out with Abby supposedly! Though I am not a pagan myself, i am friends with many and I even dated a norse vitki once. But from my own experience with Germanic pagans is that very few are actually white supremacists. One of my friends is a patriot like me as we're both very proud of Germany, but we don't view ourselves as superior just because we take pride in our history. Pagans are no different.

Well said. The Celts were more or less the same, though it varied. Mostly, the sacrifices were criminals; a form of capital punishment. The only mention of infant sacrifice that I'm aware of comes from Monks, and seems to be attached to the propaganda surrounding St Patrick, when, in reality, there is no evidence to show that he was the great converter he is played up as.

As I have stated to the local news here in Indiana as I am in central Indiana and I am an "Odinists" I have stated often that "Odinists" do not sacrifice children let alone females, EVER for any reason. The majority of all Pagan traditions only sacrificed the criminals of the area. Most of them would never even consider sacrificing a child. There were animal sacrifices, but the animal was usually consumed afterward. The Mayans would sacrifice humans but it was voluntary and considered an honor to volunteer for the community
I thought in the past alot of sacrifices also had to be volentary tho someone agreeing to be sacrificed or is that a misconception? To me sacrifice have to be something important personally yours or something with value that you own which is why it is a sacrifice and since we shouldn't own Living beings in my opinion i never give any Living being as sacrifice only rhibgs i own meals crops alchololic beverages and meads
After watching some movies and already doing research on human sacrifice in South American cultures... it was just awful. I generally don't have anything against pagans but I hope with every fiber of my being that the gods of the Aztecs never are worshiped again. Some were just evil
@@williamfreeman8197 as an example of consumption of an animal after sacrifice, in Hoo Doo or Vou Dou (Voo Doo) chickens blood is often used in rituals. In many cases (except for the most extreme) the animal would be cooked and served afterward. In some of these case, it completes the ritual.
In modern times, your example of a sacrifice being something you own or is personal to you is the best example of a sacrifice.

It was culturally and socially acceptable to volunteer to sacrifice yourself for your community. And sometimes a small amount of your own blood is very much acceptable in ritual practice regardless of which culture you follow. So a pin prick is acceptable. Nothing more over the top is needed. The blood gives the spell or ritual the 'juice' to complete it.
@@ChanelStuff i know. My ex was a Vitki and she gave blood to complete the ritual with the runes. However it wasn't enough regarding the ritual and the consequences were highly severe. Ultimately using blood in rituals is just dangerous and you need to make sure you are truly ready to sacrifice what needs to be sacrificed, or it all goes horribly wrong. That's what I learned from her when she told me about it. But personally I don't find much redeeming qualities of the Aztec gods. If someone wants to be sacrificed for their people, fine. I live in Kokomo, about an hour from Delphi. The police in this area are HIGHLY incompetent. There is actually a TON of missing children in this area. From what I've seen, the defense is claiming this. To be honest, I don't think the police have the ability to prove 100% that anyone did anything in this case as they have wasted so much time early on with dead ends. Yes, they are really that bad. I think the old man they initially interviewed killed those girls. If you watch old videos, he sounds and looks like the dude in the picture and audio recording.
Remember it was mentioned that young Bridge guy is the one responsible for the murders and it was Becky that said this connection to the law enforcement and the prosecution was the one that originally compiled this it was just given to the defense after the judge suggested they do a Frank's motion because the prosecution was withholding a bunch of stuff that could be exculpatory! It was Becky that originally turned this tip-in and to Discount that would be silly, regardless of the Odin connection, BH Was staying at Ron's house and his son was dating Abby, so they are very connected!
@wisdomsleuth77777 I have no clue, I just know that law enforcement is incredibly incompetent in this area. The case always struck me as odd. The parents seem to know more than they put on. Who let's 2 young girls like that go walking alone on a nature trail? I think drugs/prostitution may have been involved, like the girls were going out there to meet someone. Who knows, I'm no detective. It's very sad, though, because I know how ignorant the cops are in this area and am fairly certain they've fumbled this investigation.

As a Pagan, I WORSHIP nothing, I RESPECT and REVERE the deities as beings who are greater and more powerful than myself. My sarifices are not of living, intelligent creatures, but rather foodstuffs and libations. I guarantee they would be far more receptive to pure water than the blood of the innocent.

This's *exactly* what I've told some of my friends on this subject; and while I don't know where exactly he got his information from, one of my friends on Discord once told me that the *Aztecs* , who're *famous* for human sacrifice, didn't sacrifice human hearts to their gods because *they* were sadistic, but because their *gods* were; that honestly sounds much more believable than the traditional depiction of them, considering they *did* in fact worship a god that *abhors* human sacrifice, Quetzalcoatl.

Innocent and guilty are subjective and relative words. ANY life/blood sacrifice to the gods is satanic, end of story- and plenty of it still goes on today. This includes warfare. I hate to bring up geography, but the heart of white supremacy is not that distant from the crime scene. I think there’s different densities of activity in different regions. That being said, the Nordic traditions offer such weak resolves a feeling of alpha they desperately desire to be seen as having. Been following this case since day one. The two men known to be involved are cowards and not at all representative of any of our beliefs. If they were were actually of the faith they would’ve picked fair fights, not two little girls. I’ve been in combat sports my whole life. I grow out my hair to donate, I volunteer with pediatric cancer charities and I teach youth boxing, kickboxing and mma.

I was reading that back in the day the reason Valhalla fell as they it did was it did not involve females and was strictly male dominated. The same with the Bothomet or whatever their names are was also male only male dominated excluding females. The females helped with Christianity become popular because it was a faith for both male and female. Later on the Knights Templar, Knights hospitaller, teutonic knights abstained from females and became what religion once was and became male only - male dominated pushing women from the faith. Point being is the suspects are most likely males, and if it were ODINISTIC those females would have had to voluntarily agree to become sacrifices, and the church would kill them for being heathen. It is sad to be female in a male dominated relgious world. You do not read much on abuse of women in Heimskringla or any saga so I wouldnt think it to be an Odin follower if it is based off traditional sacrifice, but I know nothing of sacraficial norwegian rules other then it was voluntarily done. Well, the lawyers certainly grabbed the headlines with this made up defense. And while so-called white nationalist make up a small percentage of people who claim to follow Nordic pagan principles. I live in America and the far right is definitely causing problems and division is country even though they don't represent anything near the majority. But they are able to capture the media's attention. And they love a good sensational story. The story has such wide ide spread coverage internationally. It seems if you're talking about it. It would certainly impact the jury pool and allow the lawyers to create some kind of doubt and that's really all they want to do in this trial. He explained it but human sacrifice mostly consisted of slaves or criminals. Abrahamics participated in sacrifice until the second temple age and even then most Muslims Jews and Christian’s participated in slavery and public executions until the last hundred years. No religion is innocent, not one.
Not to mention if you consider warfare as a form of sacrifice. Then Christianity has committed many sacrifices in the name of their god. Think of the crusades and all the other times that people killed in the name of God. I 100% agree that no religion is innocent. I also think this is just another attempt by the Abrahamic religions to put down the pagan traditions. Even though most of the Abrahamic religions are based on stolen pagan traditions and festivals.
