RIDDARA launches in the Middle East

    Radar Auto has officially launched the RIDDARA all-electric automotive brand in the Middle East market.
    Held at Jebel Ali Resort in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on September 27, 2024, the exclusive launch event featured the official reveal of the RD6, China’s first 100% electric 4x4 pickup truck.
    Key speakers at the launch event included Dr Andreas Schaaf, CEO of Geely Group brands, AGMC; Jan Felton, Managing Director of Albatha Group; and Dr Ling Shiquan, CEO of Radar Auto and vice President of Geely Holding Group.
    RIDDARA, the Icelandic word for ‘warrior,’ is Radar Auto's official name for overseas markets.
    Radar Auto/RIDDARA is a high-end new energy outdoors lifestyle vehicle brand affiliated with Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, a global automotive group consisting of well-known international brands, including Geely Auto, Lynk & Co., Zeeker, Volvo, Polestar, Lotus, and Smart.
    Radar Auto/RIDDARA aims to produce new-energy vehicles ideal for a new generation of global consumers who demand vehicles that are as sustainable as their adventures in nature.
    Sharing synergies within Geely Holding Group, Radar Auto will focus on pickup trucks and develop alongside Geely Auto, Lynk & Co, Zeekr, Lotus, etc. Radar Auto will independently carry out its product design and R&D, focusing on outdoor lifestyle and sustainability.
    AGMC is the official dealer of RIDDARA in the UAE. The RD6 is priced from AED139,000/$39,000.

    I just wish American manufacturers would make more smallish EV or PHEV trucks. An inexpensive, 2 door, unibody truck with independent suspension, AWD and a solar bed cover and/or sunroof would sell like hot cakes!

    A nail to Tesla, almost entering Rivian’s and all other truck’s coffin ⚰️ I wish it could have been a bit more taller and having A/T Tyres
