That would be incredibly helpful for A LOT of people that developed any form of mental issues and toxic behavior due to social media. People burn out their reward systems while becoming slaves to constant dopamine exposure induced by instant gratification due to behavioral patterns that are ultimately self destructive. I wish there was a way to preserve the benefits of social media without also maintaining its destructive side.

I think the lack of separation is a good point especially considering there are a lot of communities on twitter which consist of almost entirely mentally unstable and vulnerable minors. Minor communities based around anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders and other issues are extremely easy to find.

@@amberharmsen2497 He has a point though, when I was growing up the "kids internet" was separated from the adult's internet: Neopets, Club Penguin, Miniclip, Cool Maths Games and to a lesser extent sites like Runescape and Newgrounds which had both adults and children but were mostly populated by children
But now kids are using TikTok, Twitter, discord etc and there's no separation at all The children and adults are directly interacting, commenting on each others posts and such. Of course back in the day adults could go on Neopets and Club Penguin if they wanted, but maybe that was a deterrent in of itself, adults aren't really interested in the kiddy stuff, it's boring. And they're limited to the restrictions of those spaces, no sending images or naughty words in Club Penguin
Maybe a better way of thinking of it is this: when I was a kid the crazy stuff (or even way tamer stuff) mentioned at 3:21 would only be found on 4chan or other crazy sites like rotten. But we were all scared of doing that because of it's crazy reputation. Now the crazy stuff (and people) is found on the regular sites

I searched for gamer groomers. I got a headset recently and I play call of duty. I play most zombies which I guess is really popular with kids. Anyway one day I heard a grown man and a small kid talking together while playing. The kid was very young and although it was innocent I would definitely not be comfortable with my son talking to a grown man in a game. As I’ve played more and more I hear kids that sound like they’re 10 or younger and I mentioned to a mate I didn’t feel comfortable gaming with kids. They looked at me like I was crazy but I expose pedophilia in Hollywood/ sex trafficking so I am very well educated with the topic. And it dawned on me how easy it would be for grown up to groom a child through the game! Anyway I searched for more info on this topic and you do seem to be one of the only ones talking about this. My biggest issue with furries is while being explicitly mature thing and being 99% about sex, they are trying to appeal to the youngest demographics possible. Once I have argued with Russian furry about it and he was like «they will learn about all this stuff anyway». But there is a fine line between slowly discovering sex and sexuality and being exposed to the most degenerate stuff imaginable.

I had a bad experience after going to Discord to try a call with a girl I matched with on a very Christian conservative dating app. Unless you're on a server with friends, Discord is simply degeneracy.

Technology is ever evolving and most people these days are far to consumed with their jobs. And stressed out on keeping up with bills plus schools have become far more accepting of technology as well. And parents cannot monitor there children's activities there. Plus home schooling is looked down upon even though your more likely to be sexually assaulted there.

Hence why discord and twitter are known for hosting videogames, anime and furry content.

I used to be in a really bad Discord server, I’m thankful I left when I did because I left the kind of people who would do this to me. It was horrendous.

With that becoming more and more of an issue as schools issue tablets to children and parents give them phones with unlimited access, losing their innocence can happen at any time and any place.

One way i can see this is force companies to have like a backdoor access and use a bot to spot some keywords or manually review all messages.
I would say do it like how China does with heavy censorship but i know people dont like to censor stuff cuz "free speech". But i mean when it comes to grooming children, i would rather have some things censored so kids wont be the next victims of grooming.
As a minor, I believe that adults should not have a say in any of these situations at all. Kids should not be exposed to any LGBTQIA’s until they gone through puberty, and should not be allowed to consent for transgender. I believe that twitter and discord should also make more strict policies about pornography, specifically furry/loli/any other extreme porn. And for other teens my age, try to avoid discord/twitter on a daily basis, not saying to uninstall, although that is the best option, but to be careful of pedophiles and other people trying to exploit the young.

5:13 Guess this changed for twitter since Musk bought it. It's also hilarious that other large media sites such as UA-cam started adding this to their report options once Twitter implemented it. Sometimes, it really does take one person.

Volunteers or works with children but does not have children of their own, or child friendly toys - video games, tree house, train sets/doll collections etc
Spends more time with children than adults or peers - may even come off as immature and childish themselves
Has a “favorite” child they seem to spend time with (which may vary from year to year)
Gives gifts or special privileges for no apparent reason
Overly affectionate/playful with children - hugging, tickling, wrestling, holding or having a child sit on their lap
Disregards “no” “stop” or other efforts from a child to avoid physical contact
Long stares or periods of watching a child
Comments or conversation about a child’s appearance - which may even take a turn for the inappropriate
May exhibit a sense that they feel they have special rights/privileges above others
Eagerness to learn details of your personal (possibly romantic) life and your child and their interests
Flattery of you, your child, their talents and likewise, they may boast about their own successes/accomplishments, charitable work, generosity etc
If you are a single parent (especially a mother) - this person may be a new or potential romantic interest that comes off as “too good to be true” or anyone that seems interested in filling in as a fatherly role for your child.
Seems to like the very same things that your child is interested in
Tries to establish a sense of camaraderie with your child and draw your child away from you “I know how parents are” “you’re old enough to go alone”.
Attempts to make you doubt your protective instincts “you’re not one of those helicopter parents, are you?”
Offers to “help out” with your child - a stranger that may offer to walk them to an arcade while you’re shopping at the mall, or an acquaintance that offers to watch or give your child a ride to soccer practice when you find yourself in a bind.
If your child is particularly talented (musically, artistically, athletically, or is involved in pageants etc) and someone approaches you with opportunities that seem like they would benefit your child - private lessons/photography shoots/meeting scouts etc
Someone that suggests a child is “troubled” or prone to lying (to discredit future claims of abuse by the child.)
Some examples of this behavior from real-life situations: a church member who often asked to hold parents’ toddlers, an new boyfriend who began sleeping over with a single mother, a parent who attended a school dance and spent most of the time dancing with a group of children.
It’s on purpose. They know what they are doing and they won’t stop until force is used.
They are destroying people on purpose for nefarious reasons.
