The aluminum ConnectIt bars are mounting units. We had one in my mom’s bedroom. They slide under the bed but hold a iPad, or monitor. These are perfect to get things out of the way when home nurses, physical therapists or doctors visit and the patient is in a small room.
If you take the fabric off it is still dirty - most have rivets or bolts that are also steel. That is why I just leave it as is - the weight of the fabric makes up for the reduced rate.
Matt, are there markings on that chair you found? It just looks like it would be so fun to set in and relax looking over the Smokies Mountains were I live here in North Carolina.

That white rack near the pod chair is actually to help push/pull yourself up from the toilet.
