Good afternoon Paul. Decent scrap day today. That's sad that pallet prices are down that much, really doesn't make it worth it to pick them up now. I live right next to the train tracks and those trains go by so fast it's crazy, never had a derailment here, but they're always working on the tracks. What's really nice is seeing the passenger trains when they go by. Have a Happy Father's Day weekend and thanks for everything you do for us

No I get those when you buy campers the little black jack stands under some campers like pop-ups or small campers and 20 foot campers to people campers they have those little black stands in the corner and you put that wrench on it and you crank those jackstands down there built into your camper frame that’s what that handle is

Trying to watch this again. I was just shy of midway through earlier and my ear buds died on me. So now they are recharged and hopefully they make it through this time. Looked like another good scrap day.

G day Paul I bought 2 new snow tires LT for back of truck $300/pc driving along a 2 weeks later heard noise,
thought flat, pick up a tarp strap made a loud noise. It just hook on rubber not through.

Paul, you cut a propane tank very carefully😂. I could use a few prayers for my 38 year old son who just had a mini stroke. He’s home now but it was a bit scary her the past few days.

When I first saw your intro clip I thought that guy was yelling at you. Interesting how the cost of pallets have gone down given the price of lumber is high. Would be more than $2 to make one. We’re about to go into a stretch of excessive heat here. Mid to upper 90s. Good times. You be careful and have a nice Father’s Day weekend!

Still like that "Morning Ralph, morning Sam". Yeah, that starting handle was one of the worst things ever removed from cars/vans/trucks. You never got caught out with a flat battery couple of cranks, capacitor charged, motor started.

Freight trains are only allowed a maximum speed of 60 mph wherevever they go city or coutry, Amtrak can go up 79 mph wherever they travel.
Maybe it just seems faster than 60
You have to pre prep a propane tank before you can cut it

Hey Paul, out in McHenry seems like less scrappers. I had a grill out for the scrappers. No takers not even the garbage guy. Then a scrapper from Elgin came down the road and took it. What's going on? Are the scrap yards paying less nowadays! Please let me know thanks
My scrap yard is paying the same. Sometimes the heat will keep some scrappers away

The grill had no bottom. It was rusted out

High here is supposed to be 98! Be careful Paul, heat stroke is no joke. Make sure to drink plenty of one of God's greatest, Water.
This humidity gets me grumpy.
That freight was FLYING. The tracks where I am wouldn't handle it. There are too many curves and they're not in good enough repair. The freights that come through town here, few and far between, are moving about 20MPH.
We get about 40 to 60 freight trains per day through DeKalb
Awesome video Paul, do they knock down the price when you bring in items that have other trash on the metal or do they just pay a flat price for the weight. It was a bit scary. I could have lost a tooth or two
You fill it full of water and tide soap fill it all the way up with water and tide soap washing out the propane or propane is a gas but it puts off an oil and the tide will wash it and then you rinse it out and then you can cut on it I’ve done propane tanks that people have on the forms of ones that look like a little short drum tanks just some Tide and soap it out and rinse it out cut it up
My guess is the train was going almost 100mph.
That is the stupidest thing ever seen a train going that fast in town what if it derailed ain't nobody in that big of a hurry

That’s why you should’ve picked up that pipe with the concrete on it make up the difference for picking up the two dollars worth of pallets

$2 bucks per pallet? That's terrible. I was looking on marketplace to see what they sell for on there, and ya, you can get them as low as $1, some places even offering free ones. Terrible resale value, but $2 bucks isn't so bad if you're finding them daily. Eventually they'll pay for a tank of gas.
