Never seen these sold individually before. Do they have internal current limiting resistors, or is that external like a normal LED? also what voltage range can they operate on?
5-12v. i had a look at the PCB of the "Retrofit" version of the Led ring for you. SMT resistors on board "122" printed on the chip, so i would assume 1.2k resistors, and they are in parallel. That's 8 leds in parrellel, so probably not a good option for 9v battery power :) ill pin this to the top of the comments, good questions!
@@DiyguitarpedalsAu hey I would love to install these on my pedals but have absolutely no idea about wiring, connection and physically modding a pedal. Will these work on any pedal , will they add noise to the true bypass and is there a resource to look up detailed instructions on install or will a guitar shop be willing to do this ?
Wow! Those are wonderful! Pity I don't knew about them when I've added additional foot switches to my pedalboard. Thanks for that gold info and cheers for the land of my idol Mark Webber!
I must say even though I'm subscribed I haven't watched a video from the channel for 4 years or so, so I like how the narration pace got better. More sure.
Do you have a process for adding these to a pedal without an existing LED? I have a warm audio jet phaser and it doesn’t have an LED to light when the pedal is on. I use it on my looper switcher and it would be nice to know it’s on. Any place to tap into power that would light an led when you click the switch? I really like these washers

I've seen those before but completely overlooked them as a gimmick. Now that you've demoed it I'll give them a try

"Don't turn it on, take it apaaaaaht"
These look great! Thanks for another great video

I like those...good call.
Make sure you use a resister with the built in ones (don’t know about the others). Put a straight 9v on it and a puff of smoke came out. :(
Do you know what resistor should be added for an 18 volt supply?

Hi and thanks for the great video.
Can I fit this under a wah pedal?
Or is it too high?
How many volts does this LED light run on and what resistor would need to be put in the circuit for the 18 volt supply? 3.66kΩ Will it be enough?
Since time has passed, which style of led do you like....& why? I want to get some but mot sure which to get. Thx!
So... I'm looking for simply a white one, and for the life of me all I can find is red, blue, and green! Any ideas where I can find white?
Boa tarde onde consigo encontrar deste sou do Brasil
would this fit in a VOx wah pedal? or the hole need to be adjusted?
I only see the first type in your webstore?
Where to get those led?
Hello and OMG video he awesome
