Good job, and thanks for posting. Seeing how easy you made it look, and the minimal amount of parts, it's hard to stomach buying one. Looks like you just paid yourself $90 an hour....sweet!
great use of recycling a old vox channel selector, now you have a 1 off aby , i bought a osp brand aby pedal and i wouldn't recommend anyone wasting their money on that brand, sure it has the leds and everything but 1 of the buzziest pedals i have ever used , build your own , great vid!
nice work! just saved a bunch of money! plus there's nothing better than making something yourself, especially when it's from parts you have hanging around the house.
I will be building the same thing to dip my toes into dual mono amps at my church gig. I’ll start likely with a wet/dry-clean/lead setup. I will follow your build and let you know the results!
I am researching this right now... I was wondering If one could so this without a Buffer... But usually one would expected Grund Loop Hum, drop in Signal, Filter effects... You did Not experience this Here :-O I am also Just learning this and honestly dont even Unserstand the switching schematic... Will have to do some reading
I build a lot of pedals, but I've never seen this enclosure before - where did you get that? Also, if you do more of these, try to find a step bit (often on sale cheap at Crappy Tire) and your life will become SO MUCH easier. Just a small suggestion. Love your vids, man!
+Bishop Vogue I just reused a Vox channel switching pedal. It had the 2 switches I needed and one 1/4 in jack. I found two others and removed the internal original circuitboard to build this.
Potentially stupid question, but could you use this pedal in reverse? I am working on a vocal pedalboard for a singer, and he wants to be able to switch between mics, or use a combination of two. I know the Morley ABY switch can be run either way, just want to make sure you can do the same with this.
Hi! I have a question, what of I needed one of the jacks to be stereo? Not all of them mono (1 input mono, 1 output stereo, 1 output mono). Can this be done? Thank you!
I can tell you now, with just a bit of research and knowing where to get the parts, it's not hard. I was in the same boat a week ago and I made a footswitch and an ABY this week.

A good time Rock 'n' Roll pedal.......sweet! Nice work, Good video

cool. not as complicated as i thought it was gonna be. you probably saved a ton of money and sounds just as good.
That's very cool. Bob Bradshaw probably started the same way. Rock on!
Great vid, thanks. I have a dodgy old Laney channel switcher, here is it's destiny!
+d2vmusic That's exactly what I wanted to hear!!:-) DO IT... it's so useful!
Nice job Nelson, I tried my hand at 2 pedals and buggered them both up, yours works great.

+Alan Stokes Yeah man.. if you have the parts laying around, these are so useful. And the Morley one's are $90 and tax. Mine was free:-)
Very nice pedal build. Knowing what they are selling for and seeing how easy it was for you to build one makes me think they are charging too much.
+Dale Palmer This was so easy and it's 5 parts. Nowhere near worth $100 they charge for them;-)

It works wonderfully. No ground loop issues or anything. If anyone has any questions as to my build just let me know.
Yes, I know a vid speaks a million words but describing what you are doing is far better and now I know exactly what not to do when posting a vid.
Great job, well done and also a great video ! Thumbs up!
made it yesterday...works both ways :) and it's great and realy easy...thank you
You should hand paint it, to give it the finishing touch, and put leds in the two holes.
Nice! Next a phaser wah super wide band expression pedal!
it works !!!! tnks man !
Would it work without the switches? I would like to have the 2 signals IN to be put out to 1 amp.

nice, good job buddy \m/

This is great
hey man! looks very simple :) does it work both ways? I mean, use 2 outputs as inputs....I think it should but just to make sure :) thank you
How should I go about adding LEDs to the pedal? So one for when it is pressed for A, for B, and for both. Where would they connect to?
Nelson, can that pedal using backward? i mean two input to single output? btw very entertaining channel
What gauge wire did you use
Hello. By any chance, did you notice some signal loss or volume difference when using both outputs? Best regards!
Whatever Don’t bother me did you notice anything completely awful in y mode? I would try it out and you can always put a buffered circuit in there.

No ground loop hum!?
Are the stomp switches dpdt? Thanks
Wondering if a stereo input and output version is do-able?
would it work if i used all the same kind of jacks, and the stereo
Hi! I have a question, what of I needed one of the jacks to be stereo? Not all of them mono (1 input mono, 1 output stereo, 1 output mono). Can this be done? Thank you!
can I use the ground lift with out power ? I don't want to power up the ABY pedal. thanks in advance
do you have the schematic or a lay out
Sorry, I am a noob. What is an ABY pedal for?
Thank You!
It's for using two amps at the same time the a/b switch is for switching between amps and the ab is for using both amps

thanks a lot!

This is a family show! Keep it PG! "Pretty Gross". Kidding bud 🤣
I fucking wish I knew how to do this kinda shit...
