I was watching these videos last night and today I actually saw the boat at the dock! I couldn't believe my eyes....this boat is quite a different creature than we are used to seeing but very well thought out! I hope you guys don't mind that I snapped a few pictures of it from the pier
Wow i wonder if having those gallos frames up or down makes a difference in the ride/stability.still an awsome boat.i wonder what she has in her for power!! Beautiful boat
@@normazwicker4683 Yep to many dingalings got crushed standing underneath them! Most likely insurance scams! Those would be sweet if you were working hard bottom with a lot of big rocks!
Can’t believe the skipper has a winch in his direct line of sight of the crew while hauling back. He’s gotta take his eyes off the gear to look up at a camera screen to grasp the reality of what actually going on on deck. Hairball af
Time out!!! Shrimp and lobster can at least run, a thing fish can't but we'll play along... How do you fish for something that can't move? .. picking boat is more accurate. I mean really if your quarry can't move it is hardly even a verb to pick it up.
@@R3troZone if it looses the race to a tortoise it's not moving. Yes they can dig down and crawl on their foot but it isn't like it can run away... Idk for sure but I would guess 20 ft is about as far as it could move in a day.
what exactly is being destroyed by sea scallop dredge fishery? i'm assuming you are pretty informed on this topic if you made that comment. what type of bottom are they generally fishing on? what is the damage caused by the dredge? do you have any studies or documentation you can refer to for more information on your opinion of this destroying the sea bottom?
And here you are, a brand new boat, and where are you going, straight to Canadian Waters to take and pillage our scallop industry.... Convert your gear to "GULF" configuration, and get out of our Waters !! Like it or not, the water's off of Eastern Canada are for Canadian fishermen. Why don't you just go and become a navy-seal. You guys make great movies, but you're no kind of fishermen, and you need to stay out of Canadian Waters, or else !!
I would like to see how that design handles in heavy weather.

who's here after the Fishing on the North Atlantic videogame?)))
I am, its one of my favorite ships in the game and actually very productive too. I had to see the real life Viking Power!
Send your best video clips from the game to us at marketing@fleetfisheries.com and we will post it on our social media. Thanks for visiting!
That is one GOOOOOFY looking rig right there. .
That goofy rig would probably pay your mortgage off in a season.
@@mr.nobody9312and buy you TWO vacation homes!
Looks to futuristic.
too
Merci pour cette vidéo. J adore, le bateau et exactement le même que dans le jeu fishing north atlantic.
where is the boats anchor?
State of the art with archaic stablizers
Looks like the wheelhouse is on the bottom
Not sure I could ever get used to the lines.... it just needs a bow.
Have a search for X Bow designs. Ulstein of Norway developed it.
No bow anchor ?
Yeah I cant quite figure that one out either.....

You would think it would have it's own ice machine
U would think it would flash freeze scallops and have belts for picking scallops. State of the art lol! Still picking on deck
Of course not one bit of information, just a bunch of noise.
Beautiful ship but still no dump tables !!!!!
Dump tables are illegal on big boat scallopers
@@richardconlon4275 I didnt realize that . We use them here on the Canadian offshore fleet and they save a lot of work for the crew

Looks very familiar
mind the paint work...
Wow, I'd almost sail on one of those.

Built in Bayou La Batre, Alabama
Need a deckhand?
Norway design to the east coast. Crew is safe and protected, but not liking the design of the now for myself.
Absolute cadilac
Laughing!
Have you ever seen anything that ugly?

Do you really think mollusks just sit in one spot their entire lives and never move? Because that's almost adorably naive.

Yup clearly don’t have a clue what your saying or you would’ve posted links and resources to back up your claim. The burden of proof is on you.
