------------------------
Bun B spoke to VladTV about DJ Screw being a hero to people in Houston, and added that he sold so many cassettes at his house that he had to put up a gate to control the masses that would gather outside. The UGK legend also revealed how people felt differently about Lean after DJ Screw's death, but Bun B said that DJ Screw wouldn't have wanted people to stop sippin'.
During the conversation, Bun B also detailed recording "Sippin' on Some Sizzurp" after Atlanta had iced over and they had to travel up Pimp C's winding hillside driveway to record at his house. To hear more of the story, hit the above clip. - Розваги
Bun is a professional that’s why he’s talking correctly. When you’re a grown ass middle-aged man that works in professional/corporate environments (News stations/colleges) you “should” be able to hold conversations to appeal to EVERYONE by that time in your life. We all know that Bun is from the hood...but let’s appreciate his growth. Give props because he could’ve been stuck with a hood mentality and dead or locked up by now. #Respect
Facts bro.

This comment should have a million likes. But u already know what they say about speakin the truth
He’s also a professor at U of H
Bun's vocabulary has always been top notch & dignified.
In fact, I don't recall him ever talking especially "Ghetto" in an interview... That was my man Pimp's role 😆 #Chuuuch #Ugk4Life #RIPPimpC

Bun Bs face after Vlad says Sippin’s his favorite 3-6 track is priceless.
He asks “why’d I take an interview with this cornball?” with his face.
🤣🤣🤣
He goes “oh really!?” Lololol
A whole album with UGK and 3-6 would've been 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I saw DJ screw in 95 when I was 15 at a small club in Alexandria, Louisiana. My older cousin got me in. Being from Oakland I had no clue who he was. That was one of the craziest nights man... screw was ahead of his time. RIP.
Man you lying in from The A I’mma old head and been hear all my life, screw music and all or most legends of the Suc have performed in Alexandria but never screw, maybe you saw someone of the suc click perform here but never The Originator
Corey Clark yo he could be telling the truth
I really can’t see it homie about 99 percent sure too
Screw used to travel with them boys all the time, he damn sure used to come to Strawberrys, and Raul's. If you from where I'm from then you #knowimtalkinbout
Yea screw came to Alexandria plenty of times and fuck with a lot of cat here in Alexandria Louisiana cory Clark he came to vfw on 3rd boomerang 2000
I got put on to D.J. Screw in 2001, after he died. Being from East Chicago, Indiana, all of our music was fast. Bone & Twista were our hero’s. We frowned on screwed music. I had to go away to the Army, and kick it with them Army boys from Texas to get that Screw feel. #RIPDJScrew #RIPRobertDavisHeTheKingOfTheSouth
Use to live in markstown bro rip screw
I live in Houston born and raised. Fat Pat is/was my godbrother and Bun is right Screw helped form many legends❤ ppl from Cali were fascinated by the sound of screw. UGK has so many hits Diamonds against Wood is my fav. RIP DJ Screw,Fat Pat, Pimp C, Big Moe, Big Mello, Pat Lemon too many fallen soldiers 🙏
Jojo Jones y they say bun b aint die from lean he was murdered?
dlumbreras bun b isn't dead lol you mean fat pat? i wanna know what happened with fat pat and big hawk they're the only ones in the mix who got killed and they'r brothers. anyone know if it was connected?
That boy Grace & Pharoah is the most slept on!!! Rock 4 Rock a bird is the hardest song ever screwed in my opinion.
pharoah and screw went hard.
@Doomreb There are ALOT of SUC members who got killed. Not just Pat and HAWK.
It's kind of a long story how Fat Pat got killed, but I'll sum it up for you. Fat Pat had a friend name Corey Blunt (a well known SUC member in his own right) who was a big time dope dealer in Houston. Well either Corey Blunt himself or someone in his camp robbed a local Houston Promoter named "Wiesel." Since Corey and Pat were so closely associated, Wiesel blamed Pat for the robbery. So one night Wiesel invited Pat to a hotel under the pretense of paying him for a show, and when Pat showed up, one thing led to another and Wiesel shot him. Wiesel is currently doing fed time last I heard.
Big HAWK was said to have been killed in a case of mistaken identity, or an attempted robbery depending on who you ask. But his death was not related to Pat's death in any way, and officially no suspects have been named in his murder, and according to what Z-Ro said in one of his songs "the streets have taken care of that."
Pimp c was a legend. He was a major threat to many including elite members and record labels. That trip to la and him dying in that Hollywood hotel in the 6th floor wasn’t accidentally. Rip pimpC

Me and Rza are friends. I met him one time.
UGK made there big break in 91-92 with “I Got A Poccet Full Of Stones”which is on the UGK Too Hard To Swallow”album.. the “Remix” was played on the “Menace 2 Society” movie soundtrack”which wasn’t as hard as the original version.”Sippin On Some Sizzurp” didn’t come out til a decade later Vlad, they wasn’t commercialized rap group so they didn’t have videos all on the TV screen, they was underground.but UGK was very known to the drug dealers all over America in those days.im from L.A born and raised still here,we had that shit knoccin out our living room stereo systems out here
Cali was big on ugk besides pocket full of stones?... Thats wusup.
It wasn't a decade

It ain’t been the same since Screw and Pimp have been gone. Don’t accept what you hear about Pimp C’s death. It’s deeper than what’s seen on the surface.
care to elaborate?
@@TheRockLobsterMafia Listen Good Stuff UGK. You have a lot of stuffs on youtube about that..is more complicated then you think
Pimp c was poisoned, straight up, look it up
Pimps cousin just did a podcast talking about the strange surrounding about his death. He used to be Pimps gopher.... But he talked about this dude Buddy and some strange things Pimps wife did before his death... Also his mom claimed Pimp was poisoned.
Sounds like Bun's giving a wedding speech with the echo.

Houston has so much hip hop history
He is the innovator. Dale scott first slowed down music. Screw took that to another level with the freestyles and chopping. He always paid homage to dale as the originator.

Man just give me the whole interview. This is great stuff. 👍🏼
I never thought I'd see the day I hear Bun B say," off putting"
Mac Dougl lmfaoooo
💀
Lol!
Mac Dougl that’s that college professor talk
Mac Dougl I know nobody REALLY cares, but I’m from Lake Charles, LA, which is about 45 min to Crowley, LA (Pimp C’s birthplace) and about 45ish min to Port Arthur, TX (UGK “hometown”) I worked with a guy in Nederland, TX that said he went to school with Bun B, and kinda derogatorily called him Bernard, since I think Bun was a decent student and did un-gangsta things like most young kids do like taking home-ec or whatever. Even Pimp-C said Bun was the one that helped him through school. Bun is someone that life imitates art, while Pimp is someone that art imitates life. Bun ain’t the gangsta that he comes across as in his music, no disrespect, but then again how many are? Everything I’ve seen points to Bun being a real deal cool dude that grinds through music to support his family - its a job. Pimp I think was a little tougher cut and probably lived closer to what he rapped, but hey, the two together is what made them UGK. You can say one is hard or one is soft or whatever, but at the end of it Pimp is R.I.P. and Bun is still kicking it. It’s a job, folks. If anyone did HALF of what they said they did in the rap game they’d ALL be doing bids.
Vlad made it obvious that he doesn't listen to Three 6 when he said his favorite song. Bun didn't even know how to react.
TexicanMr facts
For real
Man those Screw Tape sessions were legendary
