VesperArcade tutorials kind of need to be in depth, especially if you are marketing to new players. Newer players will not be able to pick up on certain terminology or things we take for granted SF knowledge wise. Anyway, nice video! Thank you!
Man you deserve way more views. Love your videos keep it up. You have a solid Akuma btw. Im gold now and hope to get to platinum one day. Greetings from Costa Rica.
If you *do* land a double heavy kick target combo, follow up with standing medium punch instead of standing medium kick. It has more range and it's still special cancelable.
Hey buddy, thx for the quality material on your channel, really helps a beginner like me out a lot! I've got a question however regarding combos (well hit confirms more specifially): how do I get them in for moves that don't include a blocking motion like cr.MP or something like that. Cause when I try to move in without being ready to block at any time I just get wrecked. But if I'm ready the execution gets really sloppy and I end up dropping moves all the time.. Is there any tip for the actual engagement?
The standing hard k target combo can link into sweep! I think Vesper already known that but he just forgot to say it. It's the fishing combo that I always use.
Akuma can do ex dp after medium tatsu so it's pretty good. Sthp sthp TC is similar to Uriens fmp fhp - it is a frame trap, so you can't risk for punish that thing if they have VT.
Akuma is not a strong character this time around his offense is not what it used to be to compensate for his low health... But he is still cool and I like his new look so he will go into my rotation.
Joe Smith really? His stun in God tier. He causes dizzy a lot faster than even zangief. His damage is really good for that aspect alone. He doesn't need v trigger but it is good in dominating matches. His greatest enemy and greatest strength is v gauge. Reversals can literally get him killed because of how offense oriented he is. Momentum matters more to akuma than it does to anyone else. He just suffers a bit in neutral.
Kenneth Glenn Gouki in SF 4 is alot better on offense than SF 5....trust me on this, even Tokido says he should've been a little better on offense to compensate for the lower health
tea Nguyen Have you seen someone hit with it? Because he does punch the ground when he does his taunt. Apart from that, the only other technique he punches the ground with is his super.
Sorry guys this video was much longer than I intended it to be. I'll try to summarize it better in the future. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
and do it in training stage...this specific stage background isn't helping
hows it not helping? im absorbing all the info? what does the stage matter?
PapaJ well said!

yo Vesper can you do instant demon tutorial?
forward hard punch also hits off the ground
TrowaTheWildfire and it's a good meaty😆
Good information here. You mind doing a video like this for Urien?
I'm pretty sure HK HK TC links into sweep

stand hk whiff to RD. good use or whiff hk unlike ryu
Should had mentioned F+HP hits downed opponents. I guess its not a very popular use, but just in case.
KingFossilFER Yea man, good for punishing people that didn't quick rise after some combos

Kenneth Glenn I said his offense has taken a hit. I never mentioned damage at all.

how do you do akumas where he stands still and punches the ground? he doesnt jump ive seen some ppl do it. im wondering how to do it
tea Nguyen Have you seen someone hit with it? Because he does punch the ground when he does his taunt. Apart from that, the only other technique he punches the ground with is his super.
yeah it was the taunt that i was looking for
Great vid Vesper, but don't put too much on your plate. You still haven't finished the SF tutorial or the KOF missions.
Yo sup vesper i hope you do one for nash x
Great
Can you do one for Ryu. Please
Is it just me or is that throw range fucked up? He's literally doing the throw animation through him and not grabbing the character.
