- it’s summer which is AWESOME but one thing i dread about summer is going to the beach. although it’s so easy to romanticize and look forward to, it always turns out to be an awful, overwhelming sensory experience for me. living on the east coast, i haven’t been able to enjoy the ocean as much as one may like. luckily, throughout my life, i’ve created a plan for beach trips to make it the optimal sensory experience that it can be. here are my ways to manage the beach this summer, i hope you enjoy!

i personally hate the feeling of wet fabric against my stomach/back so i can't wear one pieces. i usually wear mens bermudas and a bikini top
that makes a lot of sense!! i will pin this comment for people who also don't like the feeling of wet fabric against skin. i totally feel you tbh no type of swimsuit is totally comfortable for me lmao!
Where I live (South of England) we mainly have pebble beaches.
I always prefer pebble beaches, while it's tricky to walk long distances on, i much prefer to sitting on a pebble beach as opposed to sand. You can stand up and the pebbles leave you alone!
They also make a satisfying shhh/sizzling noise when you walk on them.
pebble beaches sound like a dream oh my god
btw thank you for explaining it so simple. you should do more videos like this, explaining common subjects so autistic ppl know what to expect from certain experiences :)
yayy i'm so glad you liked it! maybe i will that's a super good idea.
Autism has been my special interest for about a year now and I’ve heard a lot of information that people speak on at this point. Still somehow, some of the things you speak on give me new realizations, ideas for problem solving, and occasionally I hear something I haven’t heard covered before. I really appreciate the work you’re doing here. Also your microphone makes the audio so crisp it’s really pleasing to listen to 😂.
thank you so so much this means the world to me! i'm also super interested in autism and have seen hundreds of videos so my goal is always to provide another perspective! and thanks for the compliment about the microphone yay!
curious what microphone you use!
i'm pretty sure its the zealsound usb microphone from amazon (a.co/d/1XbiBdA) but i will look into it more and let you know! it's pretty cheap compared to other microphones i believe.
Just the thought of sand irritates my body.
i am so sorry you will not enjoy this video then haha!
