- This is Kevins Rzr 570 that we are putting a Gear Reduction in.
This video will show how to Dissemble and Assemble the Rzr Transmission
Not sure where the ATV Snap Ring supplied with the Kit but did not use it cause Turners didnt come with one and didnt seem to fit anywhere.
Rzr 570/900/1000 are all about the same

We broke our transmission case at a race this weekend and will need to be pulling it apart this week. Looks like a fairly easy job. Thank you for the video and tips. I believe it will help a lot.

SolitudeCustoms I am in the process of taking apart my 1000 highlifter tranny. Just got it out an hour ago following along some key points from yours. I think my output shaft is broken maybe some additional damage. I will be following the video while I disassembled in accordance with the manual of course. Just want to say thanks again.

Nice video i watched it a couple times before i built my 570. for future reference the super single 1k reverse upgrade from specialized ATV will also work in the 570 but you have to use the 1k secondary clutch as well because the input shaft O.D. is different.

Got it done, only ran into issue with shift drum but watched the vid again put it in high and no problems
Awesome vid cant tell you how many times I've shared it wish it touched on setting the back lash and maybe your thought on it as well. What number yamabond did you use? Last time i did mime it was to liquidity and not grey it worked but i don't want to use it again
My boss took his 900xp for service. The drain plug fell out after or was never put back in and filled. Bossman went for a ride and something let go inside. Any ideas what would of broke.
My rzr 1000 didn't have that c-clip on the secondary clutch shaft
Do you know the difference in ratio between the xp900 and the xp1k?
How much do u think a dealership would charge to put the gear reduction in?
No clue, probably more than the tranny itself.

When replacing the output shaft on a Rzr 1000 does the snorkel gear have a certain pitch it’s suppose to be set at? Took it out to upgrade the trans and haven’t found any info on it.
Rusty Robichaux no should be fine you can shift it into neutral manually with the shift dog to drum and set it however but my output was not keyd it’s just splines

First off...thanks for the video! I appreciate the detail and the clarity of the video.
If I can ask a troubleshooting question please....I have a RZR 1000 (2014) and have lost high gear (acts like neutral). The dash cluster indication works for all gear selections correctly and low/reverse work (thankfully as thats how we got home).
Could you help me speculate what may be the issue? At first I thought shift fork busted but seeing how high/reverse are on the same fork, I'm not so sure.
Gonna rip into it soon, but just wanted to have an idea of what to expect. Any thoughts?

First off are you sure your adjusted correctly.. I would disconnect the shift cable at the tranny and see if you can get it into gear first. Then if not the only thing seems like a stripped high gear but that just seems very unlikely
Yea, that was the first point of troubleshooting. Manually (no shift cable) can cycle thru all detentes but still won't engage in high
+Steve D Yea man, it's easy to say a gear but kinda tricky without pulling it
When installing the bearings did you use a hydraulic press or ole fashion hammer style?
A little bit of both haha. Some places you need the Press and other a Hammer will get by.
I'm installing the 325 ace gears in a Polaris general this Friday along with turner cycle double reverse chain should be a fun project

They should yes.
I have a xp1k 2 seater. Could i swap in the rzr 570 shaft and gear for a gear reduction?
Yes it would be the same as the HL Version Reductions
+SolitudeCustoms is the 570 the lowest reduction? Im trying to figure out what reduction to go with. I have 30" bfg km2s and want gearing a bit lower than stock xp1k with 29" bighorns.
+Zach Frank you might be able to put the 330 gears in it for it to be lower, not sure tho.

Yes. Should be about the exact same other then gear ratios

It's really not that bad at all. I know I was repetitive alot but it's easy. We went with the SATV

I know this is an old video but my 2013 rzr 900xp just broke the reverse chain, my buddy has a 2018 rzr 900s and has his OEM set up he upgraded his, does anyone know if that'll fit mine?
Ever rebuilt a trans on a 800 rzr?
I have not. I have one in the shed I went through but no Rebuilt one.
