- Texas and Texas Tech played the first game of a 3 game series that opened up Big 12 Conference Play in the 2022 College Baseball Season.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I started making them with team logos on the left, and a game snapshot on the right, and I’ve gotten almost all of my video views with that style.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Everything about this game screams rivalry. The smack talk; the jawing around the bases after hitting home runs; the pettiness @3:32 College baseball is golden 🥇
It more of a rivalry only for them to us it's just an in conference series, our true rivals are Arkansas, Oklahoma, and A&M.
We haven't played a regular (in football) rival outside of OU in a decade, it's sad. Thanksgiving f***ing sucks now.
@@NashTalksTexas What a bunch of crap. I was at this game sitting third base side and heard the jaw jacking by the UT section at the top. You don't talk that much shit and show as well as the UT fans did (yes I paid them a compliment) if it is not a rivalry.

@David Ballard Has not been Texas Technical Community College since 1969. You're living 52 years in the past. I know it is hard, but try to keep up. Last I checked, there is a difference between a community college and University also, its called 2 year vs 4 year degrees. It's not an inferiority complex because people who attend TTU don't want to attend UT. It's a school full of people who achieve less with more. 1.9 billion endowment vs 31.9 million endowment, yet, you still got swept in basketball this year, and your pitcher cannot even remember there is a man on 3rd in a tie ballgame in the bottom of the 10th. Yea.. we all "wish" we could go to UT.. give me a break.

The next day, Tech won with a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the tenth. Best reg season series in the history of college baseball…it’s not close.

The stat that no one looks at until it matters: runners left on base. UT left too many men on base. If they get those homers at the right times, they blow out Tech. Good game from both sides

#2 Texas Tech acted like a dam fool on that homerun. Not sure how he avoided taking one on the chin at his next at bat.
He’s a super energetic player, and always plays with intense passion for the game.
Also, it’s a rivalry game (I don’t care what the pearl-clutching UT fans have to say, it’s a rivalry to everybody but a select few fans with a superiority complex). If you’re not pumped for hitting a mammoth home run to the opposite side of the field, there’s something wrong with you.
Lastly, the dude is a STUD. Projected 6th overall pick in the MLB draft this year, he can back up any shit he talks. I’ve loved watching him play at Dan Law these past 3 years! Guns up, and wreck em.

He’s a great player and is having fun during a big game packed with fans from both sides. I’m glad he did it, nobody wants a boring trot with screaming fans. Also a pitcher hitting a batter after a batter gets excited is a punk move. And they’re in college ball, why would a pitcher try and seriously injure a hitter bc he can’t pitch better??
