Tons of velocity, flashes of electric stuff, but far too many walks and non-competitive pitches. The JUCO ranks are loaded with pitchers just like these guys...and if you are a pitcher, it's a great route to go because you will get the opportunity to put innings against live comp under your belt vs. "developing" at some 4 year school and maybe not ever getting to throw for them. Smart coaches are pulling pitchers from JUCO....those with 75-100 innings of experience. COVID also loaded the JUCO ranks to the brim with talent. @juancruz6601 pitchers don't go to juco for lack of control. Grades and other factors play into them going there. I got drafted from a juco so your command issue statement is fuckin worthless

those pitchers went to JUCO because they didn't have the command to go D1. Not that they chose JUCO to find command.
MLB pushed everyone down levels with the restructure too so the big boys who would be in Rookie or A ball are now at D1 and so on.
