The Band this country never knew about,Collusion,by the Music Industry,Worst days work ever was the "Marine Offences Act 1967"that killed the UK`s Free Independent Radio,Caroline had more listeners than all the BBC& Radio Luxembourg.,then the rest the last was Lazar 558,BBCR1 jocks, would listen to to find out the latest releases and Caroline had better quality audio thanks to their use of the Optimod signal conditioner and Ampliphase Modulation, ensuring a cleaner signal and 50Kw
When i discovered them, first song was lazarus.. i actually thought "they must better then this.. " came to conclusion that i actually knew nothing about music and gradually started to aprecciatte so much more and even more bands after porcupine tree and OPETH. Eventually shesmovedon became one of my fav songs of them.
How amazing... I love this song. Steven's solos always touches my soul, no matter how many times I listen to them, I always feel the same I felt the first time I heard the song, I fall in love again.
Came across this nice cover of #Shesmovedon from #PorcupineTree's It mixes 3-4 versions of different albums, taking the best part from each: ua-cam.com/video/XaNzAVoAxoI/v-deo.html
I feel like this. I’ve been a casual fan of PT for the last 10 years but had only had listened to Fear of a Blank Planet and In Absentia and they were ‘my 2 Porcupine Tree albums’ that I listened to... only to listen to the rest of their albums this month and I’ve just been like ‘oh my god it’s all good’.
I love the jam at the end of the studio version. I had to check it out the live version and am not disappointed. A lot of their songs they throw a 2-3 minute jam on the end.
Hell yeah, Chris on drums and great vox. Steven in his best Todd Rundgren impersonation (and I mean that as a compliment). This song features one of my all-time favorite Wilson guitar riffs.
Dislocated Day, an early standout track from this drummer. The lyrics are classic too. I agree Gavin is miles ahead of Chris, but PT would not be where they are now without Chris early on.
This is a great song... I'd really like to see them playing this live, but I don't know if they still put this on their setlist. P.S.: it's funny to see that Steven Wilson used to use the same kind of clothes that I used too in 2001... but I was a 15-year-old girl LOL
I attended and enjoyed a P.T. concert recently in Santiago, 🇨🇱 with my daughter, they are simply and absolutely brilliant… thank God we were there 👏👏👏😎❗️
"this looks way older than 2001" This is from PT's appearance at NEARfest in 2001. Bethlehem is in midstate PA, and the festival was held at the Lehigh University events center.
54 People with a Thumbs down. You must be musically numb. How can you not feel anything from this song . The end guitar solo and the chemistry of the band is a joy to watch and listen . Shame on you !
This is the youngest I've seen Steven in a video, and I'm new to this song too. No John Wesley? And Colin bless him, smiling away with his lovely bass tones, great upload thanks for sharing.
Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this ! I never had the privilege to see young Steven play this , which is one of my fav PT songs. And he's sooo young too. Absolutely hats-off to you Roccotroco R for sharing this with us !
Such a great song. I love this , it's a raw kind of sound with Steven's guitar solo sounding so good. Chris's drumming style and sound will always be different to Gavin's but suits this song so well . Colin is as solid as ever . I miss Porcupine tree so much.

ive seen you guys 4 or 5 times in Toronto..i am a huge , i say HUGE fan..you are up there with Sabbath and Pink Floyd for me.. rock on Steve and band..big giggakisses to you all..
This was the first tune I heard from PT, the next album was yellow hedgerows, then I became an instant fan. Daughters in excess brilliant reminds me of the floyds Saucerfull of secrets.
It's amazing how good this band was and still gets "discovered" by accident 15 years later..!
I just discovered them like a day ago
And now we have a new album :)

Steven Willson is something else. He isn't just an ordinary human with music skills. Everything about him is extraordinary. Rare Incarnations.
Steven in a crop top.
Hot damn.
The solo makes me cry.
Favourite part. Fits so perfectly

16 when I first listened to them, 19 now, love them.
And 30 now. Timemovedon
@@matthiasschmatz8101 Fuck
Don't mind! I'm now over 60 and still listen to good music.
haha that bassist.. he came to this world with a big grin on his face
Wow 17 people in denial that Shesmovedon
She didn’t moved on for them.
240p never been so cool
Fucking Camera man I wanted to watch Steven Wilson throughout the whole solo
Music Vid photography is driven by and ADD form of creativity.
"I am doing a rock band shoot....oh look a seagull!"
One of the most epic live performances ever!!!!
How amazing... I love this song. Steven's solos always touches my soul, no matter how many times I listen to them, I always feel the same I felt the first time I heard the song, I fall in love again.

Concedido

Well, what do you know!!
Toronto date, got my ticket
So much underrated, Discovered them about 2 months ago by accident and cannot stop being amazed by how good they are,
Stevens Outfit ist straight fire just like this brilliant song. What an absolut legend. So glad i had the pleasure to see Pt live after all this time
Solo is even better than that one from recording, amazing!
Love Steven's skinny chick look, haha.
Colin hasn't changed one god damn bit xD
Yep xD
he even wears the same tshirt
but summer it was all gone, now hesmovedon
New Bass tho
xD
It is 2016 and I'm like "OK, what was I listening all my life before I found out about PT? What did I do with my life? Do I even exist?"
Same here, with Tool as well.
Pleb
Marush Denchev jajajaja Feel you!
Yeah.
I feel like this. Who else is watching on 2018?
Porcupines are awesome.
2019 :)
I watching on 2019!
Ugh that guitar is sublime.. just perfect. The drums also bring it together.

My father showed me this 10 years ago aprox. and here i am. Thanks dad for all these good music.

Greatest band no one ever talks about...
I like how they have another vocalist in there. Chris adding another harmony makes things much fuller sounding and PT do some very lush harmonies
This is the same year that he mixed Blackwater Park with Opeth
Probably my favorite guitar solo ever.
Never gets old. The Deadwing version is still my favorite
Story of my life, when my girlfriend of 3 years and I break up and two weeks later she's with another dude...

good drummer and good guitar solo best ever song!!! the feeling it has is awesome!!
I am in love with him...'Cause his passion for what he is doing is HUGE...
WOW - this is the youngest I've ever seen Steven in a video! PT is so amazing live, and they just seem to get better as they go on...
he seemingly enjoys every note, that guy is so smooth :D

Look at Colin feeling it and all. And Steven's top. I just want to give them a big hug.
This is a great song... I'd really like to see them playing this live, but I don't know if they still put this on their setlist.
P.S.: it's funny to see that Steven Wilson used to use the same kind of clothes that I used too in 2001... but I was a 15-year-old girl LOL
the solo is freaky incredible. I love every version of the solo.
DAT guitar tone! Ah hell, DAT guitar tone on everything SW does.
Oh dude u still here 7 years after
Chris is a drummer with alot of joy in him and the way he performs. Gavin is soo smooth I barely notice him most of the time.
Chris Maitlands hair is insane
Simplemente Excelente!!!!
I love Maitland's style, it fills the whole solo, with Gavin in Deadwing this solo was a bit empty
Gavin actually doesnt take the spotlight away from Steven Wilson's solos. He plays just about right. But loved this performance with Maitland :)
it's so powerfull.....and that solo in the end..... beautiful magic
Hi
What a fantastic song and a great live performance.
Awesome song
The voice of steven is amazing
The intro to this song is just sensational. The guitar, drums and lyrics complete it 💯. So glad to find this song and band.
Keep Calm & Listen Porcupine Tree....
I attended and enjoyed a P.T. concert recently in Santiago, 🇨🇱 with my daughter, they are simply and absolutely brilliant… thank God we were there 👏👏👏😎❗️

Saw them in Boston 9/2022 and felt like a dream come true. Was shocked how many other people liked PT as much as myself.
best our times. greetings from Transylvannia Romania.
one of my biggest inpirations this band never lets you down.
Going to see them in Philly. Can't wait. Wish this drummer was still with them, His playing suits PT better IMHO.
I love this song. One of my favourites. Awesome quality.

What an awesome song
Awesome song!! awesome band!!! amazing!! I love this song!!!
Found out about them 4 years ago.. I'm glad I did, still in my 3 tops favourite bands.
I love this song
Steven looks fifteen, and it's wonderful.
they should have focused the camera on SW throughout the solo *sigh*
exactly my point !!
gracias por traer de vuelta este temazo a youtube
that's what i always enjoy when seeing them in concert. i always watch him playing and enjoying his stuff :)
Saw these guys live in OR and have followed them from album one-each new one is more surprising than the last!
It's one of the best songs
a couple of days I discovered that band, a lot of friends talked about porcupine tree, I liked this song a lot

Cant' get enough of the solo XD Just awesome!
i love this song
This solo should have been 17 minutes long at least 😭😭

With such great song it does not matter who plays the drums, the quality is in the composition of the music and the execution of the performance
Incredible drum sound as always from Chris
The best song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this i think is the greatest song in the history of music...
14 when I first heard them, 15 now, and love it :P
