Stop buying 10k, Alot of Americans don't know this but 10k is barley worth much. It is gold so at the end of the day it WILL be worth something but its very low quality. Alot of countries outside the US don't even sell 10k. I recommend you not go lower than 14k. Really 18k is the sweet spot. Its has high gold content but also still very durable. 24k Gold is always the best as far as resale value but its not as flexible as far as design because its not recommended to put stones in it because its softer than lower karats of gold and also since its 24k you cant change it into rose or white gold.
