I got the exact same light on my 650 vstar gotta get me some ape hangers and new controls and hopefully ill start riding it again, perfect project for the winter tho
Looks nice. How about a evening/night view? Also, when mounting new lights, and accessories, please be aware of local and state laws covering this type of modification.
I’d be worried about the license bracket eventually breaking along the layer lines. That’s definitely something we have to think about when doing additive design. But loving this overall, great stuff as always man!
@@BrandonBicasso one easy trick that helps a lot is to add “bones” - punch some 3mm (+/- 0.1mm depending on your extrusion rate) holes across the layer lines and install some long m3 screws in there as a reinforcement.
Nice work. Thanks for sharing! I'm thinking of printing similar 3D pieces so that I can create mounts for my LED glow lights for cruising at rally's at night. Are you going to ThunderBeach Rally this month in Panama City Beach, Florida? Would love to see you there!!!
I could flip the model and print it for the right side. You could test it out and see how it works with the exhaust. Long as it doesn’t get up to say.. 180 degrees, should be fine. Exhaust get hot but what comes out of the pipes compared to touching the pipes are two different scenarios. Shoot me an email at hello @ BrandonBicasso.com. 🤙🏾
Will it fatigue with vibes ... I made my version of that outfit sheet metal.. 1/4 I think.. 1 peice. I did a license light as well. Nice work! U having fun implementing servicenow by yourself?😅
@BrandonBicasso Your videos have not been showing up in my subscription feed. I thought you were talking a break or something. Now I'm going to have to go back and see what I've been missing. Which is a lot apparently.
@BrandonBicasso Would you make one for me? I'll pay you for it? I was selling a set of engine bolt covers on another platform until they made me stop. I should put a video on UA-cam. They're really clean looking.
Hey, I have a question now that you've been working on Indians for a while. If I'm considering to buy a cruiser, how much reliable is Indian compared to a Harley?
Hey im about to be getting my endorsement to ride. Im looking in between the superscout from indian and the chief limted what would be good for a first bike. Im looking for something I can grow into. My friend keeps trying to get my on a gsxr 1000 and im not into the speed aspect of riding. I just want to go touring and maybe a few road trips out of state.
I Enjoy your channel, teaching and throughly explaining every aspect of your build. Keep up the solid content, ride safe !
The reflection off the shock gives it a glowing effect. I like it
You've come a long way B! So cool & inspiring to see! Thanks for sharing
I have little ones like that on my scout and for a bit more in the brake light area, i put a slim led one that goes under the rear fender
I’m thinking of adding something else back there as well. I didn’t think it would turn out this well. 😮💨🤌🏾
@@BrandonBicasso the ones i used were the Hemisphere Performance ones, the minis were good enough but that under fender light just made it segggxy

Salute
Nice Job, Man!
Looks great Brandon..... clean and simple.
Awesome work brother! Love the creativity and your channel content is 🙌🏾. I’ve had to get creative on my 23 Scout Rogue too. Keep up the good work 👍🏾
WELL DONE sir.

Variable Infill at the base where the plate meets but you are right! Should’ve shown more on the slicer.

I’ve been looking for a dam plate bracket like this!!! I have a bag on the left side and need something like this on the exhaust side

Have u checked the visibility of the lights with a passenger on the back. Either way it looks great 👍
I don’t have passengers on my Chief. If so, would’ve been a different option. 🤙🏾
I am only concerned about that plastic plate holder cracking from vibrations. It really needs more beef to it. Ive cracked metal plate holders i made.
I’m not worried but valid concerned. 🤙🏾 Reinforced the joint with a variable infill for that reason.
What material are you printing these pieces? Looking good
PLA, but I recommend PETG for the heat resistance. I didn’t have PETG on hand. I haven’t had any issues with it for months, however.
Love it, but I'm sorry. The tag bracket needs to be metal, wind will eventually take it. Keep it going pimpin, love it
Nah… more stout than it looks.
I like it nice.
Nice custom mod.

Nope! Stronger than it looks and been holding for months. 😎
Hey Brandon I want your opinion on which one to get? The scout or the chief, and are they reliable
My thoughts. ua-cam.com/video/_bj-qGB2nu4/v-deo.html
Do you know if the license plate bracket will fit a Scout?
Should no problem. Same concept on Scout. Will be doing it to my 60.

@@KlingonCaptain that’s weird! Been making videos for a good while. Hope you’ve been well!
Factory brackets for auxiliary lights were USD 150 - I made my own for USD 1 on my lathe😂
Exactly 😂😂
They wanted a bunch for mounting spools and a sissy bar. I made my own on my antique Southbend 9" and a $50 Harley quick release sissybar.
When you talking about wiring for a bike my head goes... (e=mc2)+fx√35=y
Not Einstein’s formula for energy 🤣🤣
Großartig, aber in Deutschland wird nicht zugelassen.

I’d lean more towards Scout. Either will get the job done tho!

As a rider, personally, not my taste.
