3 hours of sleep a day 5 days a week was me every day in high school. You feel awful 24/7, do odd things, don't think straight, are abnormally thirsty, stop looking the same and more. I can't stand how society finds it acceptable to force people to go without sleep.
Me too. I did that all thru college. Hard major/minor, 2 jobs during year, 3 in summer. People glorify not sleeping. After getting another degree in clinical medicine, sleep is when the ‘gunk’ in the brain is cleared out, diverted to excretory system & eliminated.
@@Ruggedystim family, the school system. No one cared if I was up until 5am and teachers would yell at me for not being able to keep my eyes open. When I got home parents would keep waking me up I'd only get an hour or two nap then not able to fall back asleep till just before it was time to get back up for school
@21:49 - I work at a food bank. We get a ton of food from grocery stores where the only things wrong are maybe it was shaken, dropped (but not damaged), and just not picked up during the sale timeframe so they donate it.
41:55 I'm from Canada, so I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure red foxes can make human scream sounding noises, so maybe that was the sound.? 🤷
“Adderrall is basically an amphetemine” 😅 no fool it IS an amphetemine and a schedule 2 narcotic and a felony if you’re caught with it and it’s not yours.
Well there is a small difference, Adderall is made in a factory and given to people as a medicine so its always gonna be the same purity. Amphetamine or speed as its called often (NOT methamphetamine that is something different) is not made in a factory but by your local walter white and is a bit of gamble how strong it is gonna be. Adderal is more effective for the militairy i think since they want the inusrance of knowing what their taking. Speed is cheaper tho it can be made in a couple hours in someone's bathroom in a bucket by someone who knows what their doing requiring just 3 ingredients. (Just to be sure my friend studies chemistry officer there is no reason to kick my door down)
I used to work for the government, helping people get free cell phones/service. I met a whole lot of homeless people that I helped, and let me tell you, once they start to trust you and they realize you treat them like they're actually people, they're some of the best people I ever met.
72 hours is only the tip of the iceberg you should try a month homeless. 3 days doesn't show how hard it is a month shows how desperate you're can get. Trust someone how was homeless for years. Should do a month challenge next
I won't lie, I watched the sleep challenge and all I could think is, be careful brother. I enjoy these, but, as a fan, I'd also rather you be safe. Love the content though. Stay safe brother
I'm 3 episodes in and I'm glad it's actual challenges not tide pods or cinnamon or whatever weird ish kids are up to these days. Very interesting and informative content. Stay safe out there!
I slept only 3 days week for 4 years. I think it permanently broke my brain, probably lowered my IQ by 30 points, and I wouldn't be surprised if it took 10 years off my life. I may have given myself dementia. It was terrible, and seems to have changed me forever.
I have no idea why this video gets auto played after every video I watch.. how do I get it to stop. I’ve already watched it and enjoyed it. Awesome content but something is up keeps reverting back to this video I like to listen to UA-cam for bed but I can only listen to it so many times before I go insane.
I used to be an addict. I was a trash can when it came to drugs and at one point i was awake for over two weeks straight on amphetamines. Thank God i got clean. Was not fun
As someone with narcolepsy, the first part is just like my life before medication, except that I was sleeping 8 hours a night still so I didn't get to play all of final fantasy 7 :(
'What would happen if there were no taxes' might be an interesting vid. Like to outline what they go towards generally and depict a world/country without them
Ive gone three days and managed quite well. Like i was still going to work and tired to the point that when i closed my eyes i would instantly start dreaming. But kept pulling myself out. This with coke of course but the lack of didnt make me feel as crazy as they make it. I was tired and maybe a bit antisocial. But it wasnt that bad at the time. I dont think i can do it know.
I have 5 days without sleep experience here. It felt liike experiencing death itself. Seeing ghosts, hearing voices, seeing people I don't know, talking to people that don't exist. Not a fun time at all.
I remember my days of staying up partying. Day 3 would be one crazy day😂. You say random BS, muscle cramps, take micro naps anywhere and doing anything frfr. And when i finally did eat some real food i would pass out while eating SMH😂.
41:58 Sounds like a couple of coyotes. They try to avoid humans as much as possible. If you find yourself face to face with one (especially at night), make a shitload of noise and don't come near any of their pups (even though they're super cute). Make a lot of noise and throw a stick at the adult in the family. They'll usually just move along because they really don't care. But their screaming does sound absolutely terrifying. They're usually just communicating with the rest of their family or other coyotes in the area. Not even as a threat. Some people actually keep them as pets. They're super sweet. Extremely expensive to get the rights to do it legally. Credit: They teach us this in elementary school in Missouri.
I was three days awake when we started up new radio stations, so we did these several times, but at the end of the 3th day when you touched your bed, you crashed literally. And slept 24h. To do this, you must see that you are physical top, or you don't get the third day. And drink a lot of liquids and eat good. These were events that you had to keep up to read out measurements and modify if necessary.
My body has a weird effect where it doesn’t get tired like it takes a lot to get me tired and once I was able to do this without even three hours of sleep, I had zero
I actually tried to see how long i could go without sleep when i was younger, made it 2 days, and then i was out like a light. i didn't even remember falling asleep.
I went for about a month getting like 1 or 2 hours of sleep a night I was even taking ambien nothing would work. on top of depression I just got to my breaking point and tried to end my life. Ended up surviving my overdose and managed to do nothing but permanent damage to my heart.
With the homeless challenge, shouldn't we continue not to buy the dented or less than perfect items so they do get thrown out so the homeless can find it hopefully? That's my perspective anyway😅
When I got sober and the rehab upped my medication when I didn’t need to for 6 months, I was only getting 3-4 hours a sleep at night and it eventually broke me one night I contemplated suicide. I checked in to get help obviously but I was very manic. Clingy, paranoid, angry. I don’t ever want to go through that again.

That stinks at such a young age. Yeah I get what you mean. That's totally not fair

I will sacrifice everything before sacrificing sleep, especially at my age now. Literally mental and physical health drops.
