You can cover it!! But whatever you use it has to be over the whole entire box. I tried to put my tag in front of it and it went crazy, so use some duct tape with something solid in front of it to fully block it out. You can still run it will throw up a signal that it's blocked like if snow had blocked it or something.
Mine quit working. Dang thing braked for no reason several times. Asked a dealer to turn it off. They said they didn't know how. Ever since it quit working, so did my cruise control. I don't miss either one.
I’m trying to find a video on how to bypass the sensor and you’re replacing one. I wish a deer cracked mine and broke it. I hate these damn things. That’s just my experience with it. They’re terrible!
If you want to Wabco on-guard stop bother you just cover front radar with lead metal sheet. I make my: plastic decorative license plate + attach lead sheet to it + under carpet foam. I monted it @ front of radar. Trick is that lead is absorbing waves & not reflexing 'em back. Radar use microwave frequency like microwave owen. So not be exposed by microwaves & eliminate waves going to metal & make sparks they put lead metal sheet inside.
At many carriers it is not an option to "unplug it". And, the system has no relationship to the ability to drive. It will however, prevent a tailgating truck driver from continuing his bad habit of riding ass.
I just got a 2018 is there anyway I can block that stupid thing? Or put something in front of it so it doesnt constantly beep when im on the world famous cross bronx parking lot aka GWB🌁🌉🌃🏙
That system is a POS, constantly giving false alerts & slamming on the brakes for no reason.. idk who designed it, but it's dangerous...

Please check out the components of your system for a QRS 11 chip in it. This chip can be remotely be programmed to short your truck.

On these particular trucks the cruise control won't function if the sensor doesn't "see" movement.
And with this company, disabling "safety" equipment will cause you to be terminated.
@@RolandCaston it will work. Lead absorb waves. For truck is like nothing is @ front. Cruise control will work. This cover is for OOs & small fleet
