Question how can you fix the flickering on a OEM xenon Hid Headlight. I upgraded them from the halogen originally on my car but I’m guessing I’m missing some components. Anyone can help out???
Great Video! I have a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica limited. My daytime running light lamp just started flickering and now it is out. At 3:02 in your video, you are filming the backside of the headlamp assembly where it looks to me is the ballast for the daytime running lamp is mounted. Am I correct in stating that this ballast is for the daytime running lights? Let us know when you get the chance. Thanks!
That's 3x more work than required. I removed the push-pins holding the fascia to the rad header, 2 more plus a screw in the inner fender, and 4 screws at the bottom of the fascia. Now pull the fascia forward to expose and remove the 4 Torx screws holding the headlight assemble to the header, unplug the harness and remove it.
I'm having issues with my new hid lights I have a 2015 chrysler 300c platinum and I already tried 2 different brands of hid . Both flicker then shut off completely. I then put back the old bulbs from autozone the yellow looking ones, and they working fine. Any suggestions on how to successfully install my hid w out issues, I can't see at night and I was told to put hid in. Thanks in advance
did you ever find out man? i’m tryna avoid purchasing the new 15’ style bc i already have HID and don’t wanna spend the ridiculous amount of money for the newer HID.
what year is this bro? i gotta 2011 hemi n bro lemme tell you i went thru 8-9 ballasts they all jus die eye i even bought them OEM from mopar and then one side goes out jus so much shit wrong bro im on the edge of smashing it into a wall n leavin it there
Damn bro sorry to hear that. I got a 2012 300c I did have it go out again but due to water getting inside because I didn’t put the back cap on the back of the light. 🤦🏻♂️ I had to replaced it again. Best thing I can recommend is to make sure there’s no moisture building up anywhere close to the ballast. Because that will definitely cause it to fail.
@@issahemi22 you know what bro u were right , they both come on now thank god but i do remember last time running it thru a car wash n they jus went out smh but good lookin fam , #300 GANG ON TOP
I have a 2011 300c and my right headlight just went out, bought a light bulb not the issue so now imma order a ballast, hope it resolves it
Clean car bro ‼️ keep making content
Appreciate it bro‼️ Most definitely I’m keep the content coming…..
Do you have aftermarket headlight assemblies? My headlight assembly has the ballast inside the assembly. (2014 Chrysler 300S 345ci)

The bulbs are accessible from the round openings at the back of the housing. You should not need to remove the front end or the whole light.
U have to remove it to get to the ballast, which is the main thing he is replacing. That's why.
6:19 Your Headlights move too?!

I went to the link and it says it’s for Audi. Is it still just plug and play?
Yes they use the same style they'll work for 2010-2014 model Chrysler 300s not sure for the other year models
Is it ds1 or d3s
Does the the 2015 Durango have a ballasts as well? If so where is it located
I am not sure, but if it does have it, they should be mounted to the bottom of the actual headlight in most cases you’ll have to remove the headlight
What exhaust setup you working with ?
Straight piped with 5 inch tips
bro how did you get rid of the orange amber reflectors on the headlights
did you ever find out man?

My ribbon light on one headlight is out. Would I possibly have the check the connection to the ballasts for that?
Was it 6k or 8k?
