Be careful when buying these bulbs. I have a 2012 300C with HID Xenons that require a D3S bulb. I bought my car off the showroom floor, brand new, and have never had any light modifications or replacements. Chysler used Philips as a supplier for these bulbs, when the car was manufactured however, they now use Osram bulbs. I went to the local dealership, as well as Autozone, and O'Reily autoparts to find the bulb, but none of them have the original Philips bulbs. The bulbs have the same product number, except the Philips bulbs have a different connector that won't allow you to replace with Osram bulbs, on some 300 models, as mine, because of this different plug and Socket. Make sure you take the bulb with you for replacement because the Philips bulbs have notches (or guides) inside the connector, to ensure proper placement of the plug, which will not allow you to use other bulbs, which most don't have the notches. These bulbs are almost $300 at Chrysler, $160 at Autozone, and $130 at O'Reily. I have my local dealership calling Mopar to find a solution, because I haven't found a local Philips bulb, and I damn sure don't want to have to replace the harness or entire headlight assembly because Chrysler decided to change it's suppliers and hardware without supporting original equipment.
Was yours self leveling headlight?. My 2012 300c is self leveling. I bought my D3s bulbs from diode dynamics. It's in the mail now. I'm wondering if I change the hid bulb if it would affect the" leveling motor"?
@@rindershow212 mine came with Phillips bulbs from Chrysler but sometime after I purchased it, Mopar changed to Osram bulbs with no mention of Phillips as ever being a supplier.

I have 2011 300c hid so I wanna get some new headlights from eBay but some says not compatible, so I was wondering I thought mayb it would fit but only thing wouldn’t fit would be the halogen bulbs right? ...but wouldn’t I able to just use my existing hid bulbs in place of where halogen would be ????
I kno the bulbs are diff hid and halogens but I need new headlights so my question is wouldn’t the non hid housing still works for me and I can just use my existing hid in place?
Danny Dang the bulbs still should fit the same housing i think they were h7 bulbs not sure but if you have a non hid housing and trying to add hid then you will have to add a balast and make a cut in the middle of the dust cover to run bulb cables

Rick Saldana sorry for the late response don’t check my mail to often . I found the bulb on amazon it’s a #D3S 4300k . I think it costed me like $38 with free shipping, the dealer will take you for about $120 just for the bulb .
Ilse Morales Amazon has them at one point , you could find them on eBay there called “d3S bulb gasket ring seal spring “ or dealer but your probably going to pay 3x the price at dealer .
Jaylen Mikhail Powell Philips D3S 4300K 35W Standard... www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6DMV4N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I paid $38.98 back in 2017 price went up to $74.99 but there’s many of them to choose from on amazon from $25 - $100
That steel braided cable that connects to your balast also disconnects from the car side , check that cable if it’s secure . There also is an inline fuse for each of the headlights
I have these same bulbs on mine but mine is not the bulb. Anyone know of a fuse or relay. I cant find on any of the fuse boxes. Any help is appreciated
Adan Requena I’m not sure what you mean , if you have what they name xenon lights “hid” style then usually when one flickers or doesn’t turn on or turns off after a while then you need to replace it
Thank you so much for posting this video! Your instructions were so easy to follow. I had no trouble changing the bulb on my 300C.
Thankyou for this video straight to the job no stuffing around like some of the others good job thanks.
Thank you for this video. The Limited model also has these bulbs. Couldn’t figure out why all the other vids I watched weren’t the same parts inside.
your video was so helpful and easy to understand. thank you.

How to replace the retainer clip
Where do u buy the bulb holder and the wire? I was able to order the bulb but it didn't come with the wire and the holder?
The wire & holder are part of the headlight assembly , you would have to replace the whole assembly .

Danny Dang you could use hid , but you would have to add a wiring harness and most likely punch a hole thru the dust cover to connect lights
