The class is bad at single target now. You can’t show the FULL opener with BL and say we are doing okay. If you keep going into rotation you will quickly go from 1.2m to like 700-800dps.
How would you build up the rotation on ST if you have no (big) CD's? (For the time between Stormkeeper, Ascendance etc.) I have really big problems because I hardly generate any damage during this time. Thanks for your help.

Arcane is actually still good, meta changed a bit into spellslinger, so it's decent. I just don't enjoy playing it right now, and I am trying new classes. I would suggest you to play what you enjoy most!
Pls guys don't follow these builds. There are tons of bad elementals at the moment and this build, especially the aoe one, is one of the reasons. You are still a lot of time outside of ascendance, don't forget that. This showcase is only burst, with the aoe build, you will do tank damage outside of ascendance. I would even call it a meme build. I don't know why every streamer wants to build "ultimate" builds. There are no "secret" builds right now. Also erupting lava is the worst talent we have in our tree.
Hello. Thanks for your feedback, but you’re wrong. I tested this build yeaterday ON Stream, and for my 597ilvl, i did almost 1m overall. The build is very good for aoe, because with it, you are doing still very good AOE, without being in ascendance. We are still going Tempest, also aftershock makes earthquake procs ascendance very very often. I appreciate your opinion, but you need to prove it’s bad, before you say so. For 597ilvl, i am doing 950k ST dps, and 1M overall. I was outdpsing 15ilvls above me with it. Thanks for your comment once again! @@zinzou3 You are showing +2 and +3 keys. This has no value because you could literally skill anything. High burst classes will win in these keys anyway, also there is no competition with other players there. Proving is easy, just look at the top 1k elementals, litereally nobody is playing that because you are missing consistent damage. You will do complete trash damage outside of bursting, you cannot even prove it by yourself in your videos. Everything dies in 5 seconds, the boss is halfway dead only during your burst CDs. Im not here to bash you, just to avoid people using this skills then coming to shamy discord and crying they dont do any damage, while ele is insanly good.
You are wrong. If anything, the changes have allowed more freedom in talent selection. Doing big pulls in higher keys you'll almost always have Ascendance. If you find you have short windows, your tank should pull more packs together. Also, aoe is perfectly fine outside of CD windows. You will still pull 2mil plus, which is more than most classes.
