Others I would suggest. Lethal Gaming Gear Mercury Pro and Saturn Pro. I think the Saturn pro is a better mousepad than the Artisan 0. Artisan also just released an orange pad that's pretty good as well. For fast pads. Vancer ICE, and for really really fast. Vancer ACE. Be aware the Vancer ICE is glass infused. Do not use glass skates on it! All of the options in this video are solid too. :)
for a more premium feel for like $10 more, the lgg venus is better than the glorious fire, the lgg saturn is a better control pad, and much more affordable than an artisan, and the lamzu energon is better for a mid pad. all 3 have premium stitching, a more consistent feel, and they will last longer, i guarantee. the artisan zero is really good, but an alternative is the lgg saturn pro, basically the same thing but a little but slower. the gsr is good for tac shooters.
As someone who owns the nr 1,2,4 and 5 i just have to mention that my current mousepad is the Saturn. Its just as good as the nr 1 and 2 and stays fresh longer for some reason
Just got the Gigantus v2 today, it feels about as fast as a new Qck pad, but may have slightly more stopping power. I was surprised to hear in the video how you described the stopping power to be that strong on the Gigantus. In my opinion it's decent, given the fact that it's not a slow mouse pad at all. But it could still be better.
these mousepads are okay i guess, nothing beats the artisans, ninjutso npc, quaoar pads, kurosun pads and even the la onda lineup. those are the real bangers
If you're looking for a thick and soft pad that is very comfortable for elbows / wrists, you may wanna have a look at Fusionstrike original limestone desk mat. Been using it for 3 years personally and my friends, so far it's been great so we made a whole batch of them. Currently ship within UK but could sort out international shipment too. The rubber is made from sustainable limestone rock (instead of oil/petrol) which makes it more environmentally friendly than most desk mats out there. It's laminated with super stretch smooth nylon so it's mouse compatible and very gentle to skin.
Hey, i have been watching a lot of ur Videos latety and even subscribed to see how this channel will develope but i have 1 big question: i have been watching some older vids and iam not sure which keyboard i should choose for a gaming setup... the redragon k599 or the redragon k631 because both are 65% which i prefer but both seem very similar but i still wanna ask an expert like u
I used the Gigantus for a while (6-12 months) and it's still in good nick. I like speed pads better so I did buy a Akko Speed desk mat (for the design) amd Pulsar Paraspeed V2 cordura (a great pad for under €35 in Europe)
Hey man really like your videos any chance i can buy switches from you i saw you remove outemu reds and idk if your gonna use them but i need those for a TKL so if u do greatly appreciate it.
can u give me some tip i have gpx superlight and hyper fury s its 2 years old mousepad so im want to change it i feel i miss too much easy shots on this mousepad. Can you help me what should i buy as a new mousepad?
4:53 Sorry to nitpick, but you can't just say DPI, it has to be EFFECTIVE DPI aka eDPI (the sensitivity setting in the game multiplied by the DPI of the mouse sensor). The way you are moving your mouse in relation to the gameplay in that clip you showed, your effective DPI is very very high, nowhere in the realm of what people are talking about when they say "low sens gaming". You said you play at 600-800 DPI, while I used to also play at 800-1000 but while using almost that entire mousepad worth of space (because my in-game sense is set far lower). Also in games, in order to actually give enough input data to the game for smooth and precise movement without the cursor jumping/skipping past targets, you need to have a DPI high enough for your displays resolution and the in-game sensitivity you choose. So while in the past you might have just set to 800 DPI across all games and just moved the sensitivity slider till it feels right, it may be the case that you need to up the DPI to say 1600 and then lower the sense, working out to the exact same feel and degrees of turning per inch on the pad, but with a number that works out mathematically to have enough steps in the game engine to be smooth as opposed to having it jump over pixels. There are calculators made for this. Anyway... point being... don't use DPI numbers as an example because they mean absolutely nothing at all, none, zero. You can simply use high sensitivity, medium sensitivity, and low sensitivity, when trying to discuss things like pad size or how movements feels large vs small, fast vs slow, flick vs tracking, etc. If you were getting scientific you could use inches or centimeters per 360, as that's universally comparable, but it's usually not necessary to get that granular when "high sens gamer" vs "low sens gamer" works.
I play on 1600dpi and still have 30-35 centimeters (+-12 inch) to 360. Dpi don't represent sensetivity person plays. Or you mean eDpi which is diferent than "mouse dpi". Use inch or centimeters to 360 for sensitivity reference. Thx for the vid.
I mean you can get all these mouse pads and stuff but if you get glass mouse skates you can just use it on your desk with no mouse pad, plus it is probably cheaper then most of these.
HELP! I just purchased an Artisan Zero and plan to stack it on top of my gigantus xxl pad. Is this a bad idea? Ie. Will it create more resistance, friction etc
@@donlee4238 it seems to work fine.. But by stacking mouse pads on top of eachother there is more cloth mousepad material between your mouse and your desk. This can increase drag and friction when moving your mouse

@@GabrielPereira-tr8lh First of all, I don't own either an Artisan pad or a glass pad. But let me tell you what I've learned online. Artisan will get dirty over time, just like any other cloth pad. That's inevitable. It will get slower and slower and keeping it clean is almost impossible. On the other hand, glass pads are extremely easy to clean. You'll probably always get the exact same performance on a glass pad. That's the main difference between them. But I can't say anything else because it depends on the personal preference. You should consider what games you play, what kind of surface you want, control or speed, etc. I've always used cloth mousepads (steelseries qck) and I'm about to make a switch to glass really soon. It definitely seems a better option to me. Also, if you're gonna get a glass pad, definitely get an arm sleeve as well.
@@beratsamil Dealing with perspiration on glass pads and sticky forearms/wrists is just as equally annoying as dirt accumulating on cloth pads. Every mousepad has its con.
