Part timers will never understand the value of dash now. That is the only reason I strive to stay platinum. Being platinum don’t mean you are taking upside down orders all day. Most days I can average around $2/mile including dead miles multi-apping with minimal cherry picking and no shop and deliver.

I went back to school literally my first day yesterday and my goal is to not do delivery anymore just because of costs of tires and maintenance, etc and I only have 1 car. 35 orders. And I did the same when I dropped off platinum because the scheduling sucked. Now here's a tip, if the hour is busy, check the schedule and they will open up the same hour 2 days ahead. In my area that's what I had to do until I got back to platinum
I go to schedule right after midnight... when they open another day up. For example... its Monday night /Tuesday morning right now... just scheduled for Sunday 11am to 11pm no problem. I have a low AR too... and my zone has tons of dashers.
I had a Door Dash driver with my order. He wanted me to meet him out in the front of my building. Meet him at his car on the street b/c he couldn’t find parking.
Good video, shows what every dasher actually goes through during the dash. It can be funny to listen to the no tippers dangling a tip as if it means anything to correct their mistakes. Easy to laugh at them until it’s just sad to see how poorly they treat service workers. Most of which actually make more than them. 😱 You should make a video, spotlighting all the upside down offers DoorDash sends you that you decline during any week, the ridiculous $2 for a 10 mile delivery offers or the dubious stacks that they now hide the details for each delivery. The truly sad part of all the no tippers orders is that it is actually DoorDash at fault for those customer orders not being delivered. That $2 automatic decline should not even exist, that is an automatic $4 or $6 minimum offer that would usually have been accepted and delivered. The customers are being hosed with the enormous fees that DoorDash adds to their order yet DoorDash only offers drivers $2 for delivery. Such scumbags. And now they try to punish drivers for not accepting the $2 mini offers. Take the $2 offers or else we will stop sending you more $2 offers… 😱😱🤣😂🤣
One thing I dislike about EBT (there are many) is the fact that unassigning an order, even worry-free, counts as your 1 decline per hour. It doesn't impact your AR, but you won't be able to decline another order without being forced to end your dash.
I prefer EBT I know you've said it's not worth it due to shop and delivers pay. I turned off S&D so the way I look at it is most of my orders take longer than 8 minutes so anything above that is above the $2 base in my area.
Doordash kept giving trash orders (not a usual in my zone) and it dropped me down to silver. I've scheduled ahead of time so its not a problem, but looking at my zone, usually don't have to schedule anyway because if it is gray is it truly worth going on? Saves you miles and time. Being in Portland, wouldn't Uber Eats be good for you? Usually big cities do well on UE. I know in my area, I only signed up for DD because of my zone. I'd have to go into the city to get UE to give me close miles and decent orders. If I don't feel like going into the city I use DD (and even Spark).

How are you able to get Earn By Time in your area? I rarely see it enabled near me. It always has the lock icon. I mean I wouldn't do it, but wonder why it is always locked.
I seriously don't get mad anymore. When I receive a no tip order I simply head to the store, Mark arrived and take a order from another app. After making the no tipping idiot wait as long as I could, I simply drop the order..

All you are obligated to do is deliver to the address in the app. You can deliver it and then DoorDash will tell you to eat it or dispose of it
