2006 BMW 330i e90 Lifter Tick Quick Fix

In this video I go over the BMW lifter ticking / rattling noise that comes from the engine. The method used in this video is straight from the service manual and doesn't require you to buy anything to fix the problem. I know the video does no justice by not showing the lifter ticking noise but those of you who have experienced know exactly what it sounds like. Warm up engine. Rev the engine to 3,000 rpm. keep it steady at that rpm for 2 minutes. lifter tick gone. It worked for me and I learned it from Dean the bmw doctor, so credit goes to him. thanks Dean.

This is a temporay solution.
You can also add Liqui moly ceratec to oil and it will cure it for as long as an oil service.
You can also drove the car a sporty way (3000 RPM and more) for at least 5 minutes every time you go for a spin. This will cure it for as long as you do so frequently.
Change the oil every 5000 miles with 5w30 LL01.

Hello I have a similar problem but it’s coming from the intake manifold but I don’t have a manual could it be the dissa?
