One comment, when drilling any hole in a boat, especially the floor, you should always use a drill stop. I just repaired a 1/4 inch hole that the previous owner punched all the way through the hull when he installed a new seat. He couldn't figure out where all the water was coming from.
I agree! And those bolts he just put them in as if they were lag screws. He didn’t even put nuts on the back end of those bolts. The fiberglass and gel code is 😂
Should you not have a back plate underneath? Those screws will just pull straight out in choppy water.

Should add silicone to screw before it was driven in to stop the water coming in from the top too.

Poor installation. Backplate and Tef-gel (or caulking) at the very minimum.
