These stories says so much without even saying much. My version of "Kheer"- Nanu and lil girl belong to different ages and so the perceptions are different as well but one thing that ties both of their perception is LOVE. Love has no age, no gender, no restriction, no logic it can happen to anyone and everyone at any time or in any situation. Nanu is an old person while that girl is a lil kid, and and in our society, too old or too young people falling in love is considered to be a bad practice. Falling in love is a beautiful experience , be it at any time or age. We always seek for companionship, affection and love that completes our life. The bond between nanu and his gf and lil girl and bf both are a very innocent form of love , as it does not expect materialism but just the feeling of being together and happy. "Kheer " is used symbolically in this story as Nanu says "Mai to roz kheer bnata hoo bus aj thori zyada acchi ban gyi" it meant that just like kheer , love doesn't needs to be ocassional or situational, it can happen everyday and still brings the same sweetness in our life, and when he siad "bus aj jyada acchi bn gyi" meant that today his heart was filled with even more love as his grandchildren visited him, it made the kheer even more delicious.
the story... after wtching this video... i realise that having a gf at old age is a big issue... then having a bf while the girl is in primary school...!!! i think we should change our opinion about this... old age should be the Golden age of life where there should be no "TOKATOKI". we indians spend our whole life by following the instructions given by our society... at least we should be free to spend our old age without restrictions.... and questions...
We form the society. To change the society. We have to change ourselves. If we have to deal this at our own house we will be having the different opinion. If we wish to bring the change then be the change.
"Kheer" is the sweet desert that we eat at the end of the meal..and feel good. Like having a companion at the time when life is approaching it's end makes it sweet.
i dont know the female actor opp. Anupam ji she was just so simply brilliant in her role. all of us like these kinds of women, they can lift up ur spirit in such a good way. they may be mothers, aunties, relatives, neighbours, and if lucky then wife for us
There is a beautiful deep thought behind this film. As it starts we think of seeing two casual old couples having their regular talks. Later the fact that she isn't her wife hit me right in- with old age you do lose people! But this should not stop you from living life. Relationships like this one need not be defined. Ah! What a beautiful cocept this was! Loved it. :)
I could simply cry and drool over how good this is, but then, who'd wipe the screen clean? Oh god , this was sheer beauty, pure innocence, and dripping sweetness all packed up into 7 minutes. Well done, TTT. (My favorite acronym)
I absolutely enjoyed watching it. :) I like the little boy the most...he was so cool with their relationship. We need such innocence and simplicity in our lives.
I'm blessed to be living in the age of internet..... otherwise how could an average Joe like me could get to watch & appreciate works of such brilliant story tellers...... if not for internet all we would watch is commercial crap
This short is too sweet to handle, way sweeter than the Kheer. :) On a side note, am I the only one who noticed that the boy at 3:12 played it wrong?! :p It's not that I am pointing out a flaw, it was just a cute little observation.
Wow now a grand children can understand their grandparents better than parents...😄 I like the way how they freely talk about their relationships😍. So cute...

This is really beautiful TTT. I loved the role of the granddaughter how possessive she is. This is a great example of children spending time with their grandparents. They go to him every sunday, I hope someone gets inspired from this beautiful story.
