Hey Nidhi! We didn't mean to demean adoption in any way and our apologies if it came across like that. The idea was to convey in a light-hearted manner that if you go for adoption the child will be grateful which sometimes even the biological kids are not grateful for i.e. the amount of love & care that parents put in to bring up a child.

@@BlushChannel I understand your perspective . Your team did try to bring about a very important topic of not necessarily be bound to have a biological child to cherish the feeling of motherhood. The concept is really overwhelming but to tell you the truth after the video the only thing which got stayed with me is that one intention of adopting a child "ahsaan toh manega" or in other word " they 'll be grateful". I don't agree with this intention at all. I know a lot of people who have adopeted kids nd trust me none of them had this feeling that they are doing this so that these kids will be grateful to them one day..... Anyways, My suggestion is to keep bringing the new content like this but please review the script with some perspective..... Much Love

Most beautiful concept. I am 65 years old have two grown up boys. When I got married I really wanted to adopt a child, as I firmly believed being a parent for an orphan is the greatest gift to the child and there’s nothing better that one can do in life. My husband didn’t agree with me. My elder son believes that he wants to be a parent to an adopted child.
I totally agree that this world has become a total chaos. Instead of bringing another soul it’s better to take care of a soul who is less fortunate and bring happiness to their life.
Adoption means the kid would give you a family… not that you would give her a home… orphans are okay, we need to understand that they arent unfortunate… u are the unfortunate one who will be lucky to get to adopt a child

The video completely defeats the real purpose of adoption. Adoption is for a better life to the child not to the parents. Adoption should involve gratefulness from the parents'side towards the child because he/she gave them experience of parenthood, not gratefulness from the child's side that he/she was adopted and taken care of.
May be this wasn't the intention but really the video makes me feel very bad. Adoption is still a taboo and a very sensitive topic, therefore utmost care should be taken while making anything on it. This very much distorts the concept of adoption.

exactly what I wanted to say. My sister in law is adopted and my in laws never forced anything on her. They adopted her to give her a better life not because she will be their budape ki lathi. She is living her dream life with her boyfriend 700 km away from us in northern Canada.

I’m very motherly and I’ve taken the decision of not having a biological child .. I want to adopt one as a single mother .. But I want to adopt for the happiness of enjoying everything that a mother could do for her child, not for gratitude or for looking after me when I’m old ..

This exact conversation takes place between me and my mom everytime, whether it be over phone or face-to-face.... My mom would say me the things this mom is saying...and I would be saying the exact things this daughter is saying.... I am really shocked that someone's script so matched my real life dialogues 😅
In my selfless opinion, I believe that a couple's decision to remain child-less by their own and mutual choice should be respected by the parents/other family members and everyone in the society. No one should be forced to accept parenthood just to prove their reproductive capabilities or because its a tradition to become a parent once one gets married.
C'mon!! India is already over-populated, because so far everyone (almost), probably, was busy trying to prove their capabilities to give birth to their children OR to make kids who would look after them when they bcom old....
Jo bachha paida bhi nhi huwa uspe responsibilities thopi jati hai ki woh burhaape pe maa-baap ka sahara bane.... and then when the child is born then the parents pressurise that child to become first ranker in every step of life and earn pride for their parents... the responsibilities as a child (beta/beti) never ends.....
Ek toh bolte hai ki apne maa-baap ka dekh-bhal karni chahiye, burhaape ka sahara banna chahiye, phir Doctor/Engineer banna chahiye, phir shadi karna chahiye, phir apne bachhe bhi paida karni chahiye, social responsibilities bhi uthani chahiye....
Arrey! Ghar mein ek bachha aa jayega toh burhe maa-baap ko attention, care aur time kaise koi de payega.... Not everyone can depend on maids or other helpers. Ab ki time pe har kisi ko padhna chahiye, khud ko aage badhana chahiye, I dont want/expect ki koi aake humaare ghar pe maid bann ke kaam karke apna life barbaad kare.... We all shud be independent and self-sustainable, at least wen we can still work on our own.
So, if someone is already overloaded with responsibilities as a daughter, a daughter-in-law, a wife, a sister, a sister-in-law, a professional / service person / business woman, as a social worker and so on....and if she doesn't want to accept motherhood because she is not ready for the responsibilities as a mother, as being a "parent" is the most serious and intense responsibility...., then others (parents/society) should not force her/them to become parents.
"Law of Nature"....is a big term. There are many things that are "Law of nature", then why only "giving birth to child" is held as the foremost Law of nature.....when the world is alredy so much over-populated.
The people who really want to become parents are there to preserve our mankind.... so atleast spare the ones who dont want to become parents.
(No hard feelings, its just a message to the ones whose daughter/daughter-in-law/son/son-in-law too want to stay child-less by choice, plz try to understand their situation and respect their mutual choices and feelings).

In this era of convenience, impatience and individualism there is no space for shared happiness.

Very beautiful message. Everyone's take from the video is different depending on their age. I saw a poignant message that being a parent doesn't mean that one stops looking after one's own need. No doubt children come first but a parent, esp a mom,should not feel guilty for prioritising his or her own needs too.By doing so sons and daughters will grow up to be more balanced, matured and understanding adults. The other day when I spoke to my friend about adoption, I was literally in for a rude shock. I was dismissed saying you can’t love an adopted child cuz you dont keep them in your womb for 9 months.
When I told her that this mentality is wrong and you shouldnt be discriminating like this, she still didnt get my point.
I was shocked that how could a sensible person like her say such shitty things.
