This is one of THE best reviews I've seen! Very well done and I appreciate your unbiased review! I upgraded to the Canon 6DMii from a Canon 70D and I am astounded at the performance of this camera!
I have a 5d mkiii and mk4 and just got this camera and it's Incredible,I don't get what you guys are saying about the DR?Because I have no problem with my new 6dmkii? The photos are Amazing,DR is Increíble,so guys dont believe what others say,get one in your hand and go and take photos and videos and you be the judge, not what people comments?
Thank you so much for this review. The first genuinely open minded review I’ve watched on the 6D Mk ii as someone looking to switch to Canon from Nikon. It’s been a struggle to find a video of this camera that wasn’t driven by the producers hatred for it not having 4K. So thank you :)
Thank you for a very good and frank review. This camera has been so unfairly bashed across the internet and your review is refreshing. Thank you for focusing on the Mark ll's creative photographic possibilities. Your review has helped me to make my decision which is the whole point, isn't it? Thank you!
Wow look. Someone who's actually testing it with previews. The amount of people complaining with no proof is ridiculous, but you're doing it right and sharing actual footage. Good job
Thank you so much for the review you've made. It was indeed very helpful to finally make up my mind and go for this camera. From all I've read about DR of the 6DM2, I've come to the conclusion that perhaps it is an issue for people who are into FF for quite sometime, hence the ability to compare with older models. For a guy who's upgrading from APS-C to FF I do not think that DR should be my primary concern at this point. Moreover, reading some of the comments below (particularly from the gentleman who owns a couple of FF cameras) it might turn out that DR on this camera isn't that bad at all. Anyways - good and unbiased review with real world samples. Job well done!
Now I'm not a Canon shooter, I'm Nikon (yes, my D810 was bought from Park Cameras!), but I really enjoyed this video, mainly due to the engaging and enthusiastic presenting style and the genuine reviewing style. Congratulations for a truly professional video, I loved it. Looks like the 6D MkII is a real contender.
Hi Tom, really pleased you enjoyed the video and Amy's style! We too are excited about the 6D Mark II and look forward to hearing what customers think about how it performs for them.
I've seen lots of negative comments concerning dynamic range but all I'm interested in is how far I can push the exposure to the right of the histogram while retaining recoverable highlight detail with or without the use of a grad filter. I'm not interested in pushing the shadows up in post processing to rescue a badly exposed shot. On my present 6d I'm very happy with what I can get out of the sensor in regards to highlights while retaining the best quality in the shadows and the shots taken toward the sun retained good highlight detail in my eyes.
Quite excited, can see me upgrading my 6d. Really glad you liked Brecon , looks like you were around the Black mountain area, I think Snowdonia is even better if you visit us Welsh again :)
Finally got my hands on one to try at my local camera store. The autofocus is a huge improvement, although the points are a little clustered, the corner points do land around the rule of 3rd cross sections which was one of my concerns. Also tried it with the 100-400mm ver 2 and 1.4 extender and still impressed with the focus speed at f8. Wish I could have brought some images home on an SD card but it was a pre production model. Liked what I saw though on the back screen.
Thank you so much for this review. I really enjoyed it. I’ve been looking at the 6D MkII as my first full frame camera, which I want to use primarily for landscapes and a little video. I live literally a couple of miles from the Brecon Beacons, and loved the shots you took. It definitely showed that the camera’s dynamic range is not anywhere near as bad as I’ve been led to believe. Thanks so much 👍
Good grief, how many people who are criticising this camera before it officially launches have actually downloaded the raw file from DPReview and looked at it closely? The couples faces are in extremely dark shadow with hardly any detail showing and I'm not surprised that there's noise in there when they've lifted shadows and also added selective brightening to the faces. And in the same full size image you'll also see the coastline in the background which is also in shadow but has very little noise after the shadows have been lifted. To get to the point, that photo is untypical of what most people would be taking and all the merchants of gloom and doom knocking this new camera are basing their comments on an extreme example of faces in shadow making it sound like a horrendous blunder by Canon. And if that shot is typical of you're kind of photography there are other models from Canon which will serve you better. I know I'm going to get knocked by a lot of people who say that the dynamic range is crippled but just to clarify before I get attacked, I also have a Nikon D750 which I bought for the full frame sensor and swivel screen for low level macro shots but apart from that, it doesn't see the light of day because I've become totally focussed on accurate colours from Canon which repeat what I saw when I took the shot. And that's not to say that Nikon and Sony don't produce gorgeous colours, it means to say that I can only get the colours I personally want from Canon, period. Furthermore, having got my exposures right in the first place and post processing of raw files down to a minute or two in Lightroom I never ever see enough noticeable noise in shadows to wreck a photo and that goes right back to the very first full frame shots I took with a 5D2. Horses for courses guys, pixel peep and get scared off by the noise in an untypical shot if you want to view or print at A1 but I'm viewing on a 27" retina screen and the photo on DPReview is actually looking very nice to me *at screen size*. It's sharp and the colours look to be accurate. And if you're really worried about missing that shot in a million due to noise, apply selective sharpening with masking and noise reduction *in addition to selective brightening* ...
Thanks for the review, it was interesting to see a review of a based on using it to take photos in the real world rather than a talking head screaming about the lack of 4k.I'm really quite excited by the 6D mkii as an upgrade from my old 650D. If I wanted 4k, and dual card slots I'd have bought a 5D mk iv, but that would have cost another £1300 AND it wouldn't have the touchy-flippy screen which makes life so much more flexible.
Hi, I bought the D650 as my first, entry level, DSLR after quite a lot of research with the final clincher being the touch screen, which was, I believe the first one on a DSLR. The vari angle is useful when using a tripod, especially in confined spaces but it is the ability to control the camera from the screen that is a huge step up in usability. In the modern world where everything from phones to computers have touch screens not having one on a camera is just plain stupid.

Thank you for a really good review. I have seen a few others and I was surprised to hear that you thought the dynamic range was clearly improved over the original 6D, as others have stated it isn't, but since you own the original 6D I am hoping that your impression is correct.
Hi Richard - I am also hoping that! Due to the very few comments we have received.... about dynamic range here we will be doing a side by side comparison when consumer stock is available, to make sure we can give as accurate review as possible. It may be the case that my 6D has not been performing as it should have been and so my impression has been skewed or possibly that DPReview had a beta model that hasn't performed. I can only review what I came across at the time.
Great video 👍 I'm almost certainly buying a 6d mk II in a few weeks. Doesn't really bother me the 1080p, the single card slot or the clustered focus points since I don't shoot for work and 99% of the time I only take only photos...with the central focus point (Macros+ Wildlife+Landscapes). I dont't want to pay 2x the money for the 5D Mk IV to have all that fixed
Question: I saw you using the Sigma 85 art in studio. How does dual pixel af work with it in live view? Is it fast and precise enough? Thank you in advance, and nice review. I really enjoyed it
I heard that 6D mark ii dynamic range is worse then the 6D in lower iso setting, is it true? And is the dynamic range a lot narrower then Nikon D750? Because I'm thinking of getting Nikon D750 vs Canon 6D Mark ii but judging from the spec from these camera Nikon D750 seem to be winning thou it's 3 years older.
The 6D mkii and the (refurbished) 5D mk iii are exactly the same price right now. Can we get an in depth comparison between them? How's the 1080 quality of them both look? How about the DR? I'd love to see the high ISO in video with them shot side by side :) Thanks!
Terrific and very fair review. People get sidetracked with the latest and greatest features and wonder why a new release like the 6DMkii doesn't have them all at its price point. It's a bit like wanting race car performance out of a compact or workhorse capability out of a race car. Apples vs. oranges. Thank you for keeping them separate. I'm wanting to upgrade from a 5Dmkii and don't need a full pro camera like the 5Dmkiv but would sure like to have AF abilities I had with the 7D. The 6Dmkii looks like a sure candidate.
Thinking of buying the 6d mk 2 as it looks like a great camera.just one question,I've tried tracking birds cars etc but my photos never seem to come out sharp.Any idea what I'm doing wrong.
i have the 6D since 2013. I won't trade it for 6D2 because of the DR at low ISO as per the initial reports by DPReview. The 98% VF Coverage, 1/4000 SS, 45 AF-Points (cramped in the middle), -3EV (Centre AF Point for lowlight), and 6.5 FPS --> are not enough in 2017, even though it is an entry-level amateur camera (for whatever its worth). Also, the AA Filter should've been absent for 15-20 % sharper pictures. I don't need Dual Card Slots, Joy-Stick, Headphone-Jack, Built-in-Flash, and 4K (for which i would buy a Panasonic/Olympus separately, and in any case i always wanted to dabble with M43 system). Thanks for your review though.
i didn't forget those two specs/features, but purposely omitted them for not sounding hyper-critical. Thanks you mentioned them. Also, as Tony Northrup has been saying all this while, the Top LCD from 1980's was outdated long back, and should be replaced with Coloured Display, though it sucks up more battery. are we are asking for too much if we demand the Back LCD to be 3.2” with higher resolution and Auto-Brightness-Control like 5D4 ? . . . . . Granted that would make the 6D2 bigger and in a different league, so that is forgiven.
I love the fact that everyone hate the canon 6d II. Because of that I get a 6d II new for 899€ which imho is a steal and make this camera very competitive (the best competitor was the a7 II at 810 or the d750 at 880)
thanks for the info. very interesting. would love to see a heads up comparison between 70D/80D and 6DII. that's kind of the area Canon seem to be aiming at, in trying to get those people to take the next step up to full frame, which would make that comparison very interesting.
Hiii.....I am from INDIA I really want to know that which Dslr is the best for me at 1500$ price of canon,,and i also want to full frame dslr for beginner wildlife photographer....please little help me ..
Optical viewfinders definitely do still have their use. The refresh rate on EVFs and LCD screens is definitely getting better, but there's still nothing quite like seeing things through glass rather than electronics. There are also times (bright days, for example) when using an optical viewfinder is much easier than using an EVF or LCD screen.
would be great if you print out some info about which lenses are used for each example picture, as more than 50% of the image quality is in the lens :P
Thank you for a very well done review of the 6D Mk II which I'm interested in. Taking the camera out into the real world and shooting real images is so much more helpful than some one reciting the same specs from Canon that I can read by myself. Besides, specs don't create images, photographers do.
cool video; very curious about the low DR issue. I am not a pro photo grapher person. But I enjoy learning about the technical side of cameras. So I did a test myself of my t6i to understand DR in my own world. I took a photo of a world globe from 4 ft away, in a room with poor lighting. Used 100 ISO, 1/60s shutter, and wide open aperture on my macro lens ( f 2.8 maybe?) Looking at the photo, the globe was dark. I cropped down to a group of western US states. And lightened the image in DPP ( the free software with the camera.) And all the lettering was clear, and the colors looked approximate. So even though I took what I considered to be a bad photo, I was able to recover an acceptable image. So while pros, especially landscape might was 14 stops of DR, I would bet most of us won't care. And maybe this will be true for the 6DII, but of course buyers of this expensive camera will be more demanding ( as they should IMO) than a buyer of a t6i. But I would also note that people took amazing photos with film with half the DR, so if everything else was to someone's standards, maybe they will live with the DR issue. Or maybe Canon can explain why a newer camera has less DR than the one it replaces.
That is the issue. Not that that its DR is horrible. Its about average for what came out 3-4 years ago. The real problem is that it is worse that the camera it replaced, its worse than a year old crop camera, and its worse than Sony's and nikons of 2-3 years ago. Yet canon priced it at 2000 usd and claims it to be new. When it actuality it is a hodge podge of 3-4 year old parts thrown together with the only thing new being the 2K price. If it would have came out 3 years ago with these specs and features it would have new well received.
Gracias..!!!
A 80D would be a better choice over this gimped camera. Then 80D has a faster flash sync speed, a faster shutter speed, better dynamic range AND ITS HALF THE PRICE.
80D seems really nice, and it's weather proof, but 80D is crop sensor. Although, one will have to question why buy a full frame camera if the DR is what some of the reviews say it is. But there's also shooting speed and buffer size and such.
Full frame is overrated. I shoot Micro Four Thirds, and I am able to get shallow depth of field (with fast lenses) as well as surprisingly good low-light performance. I can get usable images up to ISO 6400. Plus it's a lot smaller and lighter. I would much rather have a good Micro Four Thirds or APS-C camera than a mediocre full-frame camera like this. Of course, there are really good full-frame cameras too, but this isn't one of them.
Adobe couldn't open the raw files cause they were to new ?? OK IM confused Im new to photography but I thought Adobe can open any raw files ,,someone explain on this she said it ,
Im currently shooting photography stills on a 5D Mark4 and very impress with the image quality and dynamic range with my L glass combo. Im very excited to had the 6D MKII to my second body just because of the tilt out LCD and I can also use my L lens glass without an adapter :) Instagram: Insanelighting
"The dynamic range is always improved compared to crop"? You cant be serious. This thing has LESS dynamic range than the 80D. Even the 5DII performs better, and that camera is 10 years old.
Hi there When I tested it, it seemed to be better. I possibly had a different model than DPReview did or my old 6D wasn't performing and therefore skewed my impression. The other results weren't released until this review was done so I didn't have a chance to test them, however I will be doing a side by side comparison when consumer stock is available to test.
Ignore people that tell you what the camera is based off of one review yet never shot the thing themselves. You had the camera in your hands and actually tested it. This person didn't. Those who have actually held it and used it have more weighty opinions.
So you are saying that hundreds of reviews and test results are wrong. All of them. We should instead listen to this one person who tells us the exact opposite. Sounds totaly legit, Mr paid-by-canon.
migebuff I shoot Nikon. I am afraid that maybe you're only watching the negative reviews, because there are quite a few good ones out there, put out by the people that matter the most - the consumer.
So far there are about 100 negative and 2 positive reviews. Why should I trust the 2 positive ones? Its not that hard to find sample pictures. Why dont you just take a look at them? They couldnt be more obvious. Today the next review showed up on petapixel, the same results as always, horrible high iso quality compared to the 6D, including sample images etc, and still some people are trying to convince us that the 6DII offers better image quality. petapixel.com/2017/08/14/canon-6d-vs-6d-ii-heres-high-iso-noise-comparison/
It is good for those kind of videos. 4k why not then the 5d mk4 would not sell. I am getting it monday. Cant wait to use it. I dont mind no 4k, no headphone jack amd no double cardslot. I do not film. And dont need 2 cards. I am a landscape photographer. This camera is just perfeckt for me. I do not need a super pro cam like the 1d or 5d to be a pro. I had the 1d mk3 but selling it. It is just to heavy and old. By the way the 6d is just the 6d nog mk1 it is not on the body like on the mk2.
Hi Ian - As Volespam pointed out, unofrtunately we only had the one to test so it wasn't used to film this. Plus the 6D II is really more of a stills camera that has some capabilities for video.
the review was really well produced and the photos looked amazing, good, talented photographer there, but the segments at Canon made it looked biased and the compliments to the dynamic range made it a sound a bit untrustworthy, as it was later reported to be one of the worst aspects of the sensor. Maybe your pictures didn't need as much DR correction or maybe you are used to low DR cameras, but it was unfortunate nonetheless. Still very enjoyable video, makes me want to go shoot some birds in the UK.
Good review...I can see you are trying so hard to want to love it even though it is a bit under spec for the price tag. I want to love this camera too but I am not swept off my feet with this model. As a 70d user I am looking to make a move over to Full frame to try more challenging photography. Having seen what other camera systems seem to offer at this moment in time, I do feel let down by Canon. Canon should be showing other companies how it is done. They have the technology to be the best of the best. Waiting another 4-5 years before the next upgrade to have 4k and duel as card slots is an impractical compromise. I'm not into shooting video although in a year or two who knows? I think also Canon should start looking at Fuji and sony in terms of the future. We have other cameras now with in built image stabilisation and better Dynamic range with higher mega pixels. I want to be loyal and stick with Canon but with the models they have now, I can think of better systems to make a switch to. Who needs Canon glass now when Sigma and Tamron produce some on par lens for a cheaper pricetag.
Hi Terry I understand the difficulties here. It just depends on what features you want and what you are willing to compromise on. There is a huge amount available, the market has really broadened so there is a lot of choice -which doesn't always make things easy!
A valid point. If there was limited options...the difficulty of choice would be easier. However, there are some compromises. Whether or not a camera at the cost of the best Glass Canon sell against the competition with more advanced cameras is worth the "Upgrade" remains to be seen. I will most likely wait for the reviews over the next few months and see if this model is worth passing by or not. Thank you for your feed back. Kind regards Terry
Well you did not show anything in this video which my 70D cannot deliver just as good. I really want to upgrade to a full-frame camera, but when I see such reviews I think it is a waste of money.
All credit to the way you have done this video i found it engaging and enjoyable to watch, but most of all she was honest with the camera review. I shoot Nikon and Sony and this has made me think about certain elements that were portrayed about the Canon. So loved the video loved the way you presented it please continue, would rather see an honest review like this than some made up fanboy.. Excellent..
Hi Strange - It will be a shame if the consumer models have the DR that DPReview have shown. However I was genuinely impressed with the one I tested (a beta model) so lets just hope they are on point when properly released! I'm sure there will be many MANY more tests done by lots of different reviewers to soon.
Just cancel if this is your last hope. DPReview is not biased and the test have been repeated MANY times with many different cameras. Listen an unbiased tester and not a video review by a camera store whose goal is to sell as many 6dii's as possible and if not talk you into a 5div.
the 6D is made for weddings at low light ..not sports . and the 6D mark 2 preforms bad in lower light compared to the regular 6D ..canon is getting lazy ..im pissed!
Hi Justin We have received a few comments along the same lines! Due to this we will be doing a side by side comparison when the consumer ready stock is available. What I said in the video i do truly believe however as we all know cameras vary and it could be that my original 6D was not performing and therefore has skewed my interpretation of results. A side by side comparison in the future will hopefully give us the truth.
you say every comment perfect camera is.... NO ISNT! Canon 6D M2 full format version Canon 80D .... you give people hope.... this camera Okay is .....you say people Please buy This Trash Camera For 2000 $ I'm canon Fan boy Say people If you Gonna buy DSLR full format Buy Canon 5D Mark 4 ... thats it....... P.S. end of 2017 5D mark 4 price get down everybody know that! thank you!
Hi Max Factor When using it, I was impressed by it. I understand there is other information available online now and will be doing a side by side comparison as soon as I can. If I'm wrong, that's fine - maybe my old 6D didn't perform the way it was supposed to and has therefore skewed my impression. I will however be doing my best to find out the truth ASAP. We have to remember most samples available at the moment are beta models and therefore we could all be getting different information.
rafiasaf100 The camera spoke for itself with excellent results which are more than good enough for most people. The review sticks to the product & doesn't shift. Would you be happier with those other reviews which seem to spend more time trying to sell a Fony & bash Canon for the sake of doing it, well there is plenty of those reviews out there if you do. I however quite like this review, Canon & the 6D Mark 2.
Hi Orb - I have always refused to say things in videos that I don't actually believe. We are a camera store so our motive is of course to point out the positives, but if a positive isn't there I won't say it. I truly think on the versions I used the DR was better, however reading the other results online I will be carrying out a side by side comparison in order to make sure that I can provide the most truthful review possible. If I am wrong and the DR doesn't compete, I will say that.
Orb 2010 u called her a lier and alleged she got paid for saying what she said. If you don’t like the camera move on simple and if it was a joke, it was a poor one must say that.
Great video .....
I am planning to buy 6D mark ii instead of 80 D.
Is it right decision?
This is one of THE best reviews I've seen! Very well done and I appreciate your unbiased review! I upgraded to the Canon 6DMii from a Canon 70D and I am astounded at the performance of this camera!
Laurie Anderson totally agree. 👌
I just did the same thing and there's a big difference

Excellent presentation and explanation, nice that Amy doesn’t talk down to us just plain and simple review thank you.
Great review! My 6D2 will arrive tomorrow. I am super excited about the improvements in focus over our 6D1.
Nice vídeo! Thanks.
Should I upgrade my 70D with a Canon 6D Mark 2? What so do you reckon?
Thanks

I’m about to buy the 6D MKII and checking out what it can do. I’m stoked at the bird shots. Spectacular!

Nice review..... with beautiful shots. // If you can... I guess for next time, please add the focal length, aperture and ISO ratings that you used...
What lens are you using during the macro shoot? Thanks :)
Great job. What was your shutter speed when you photographed the sky and sun in raw?
I've seen lots of negative comments concerning dynamic range but all I'm interested in is how far I can push the exposure to the right of the histogram while retaining recoverable highlight detail with or without the use of a grad filter. The most useful review of Canon 6D mark II. I just ordered it yesterday and waiting to play with it. 😊
Quite excited, can see me upgrading my 6d. Really glad you liked Brecon , looks like you were around the Black mountain area, I think Snowdonia is even better if you visit us Welsh again :)
Hi Andrew
Brecon was beautiful and Snowdonia is a personal holiday favourite! Hopefully I will be able to review a camera there at some point!
Finally got my hands on one to try at my local camera store.

Hi Dan, glad you enjoyed the review! We really liked the flip-out screen; we didn't think we'd use it very much but it ended up getting used loads!
Richard Rönnbäck The dynamic range is worse than original 6D. Read Dpreview.com
Thanks for sharing, love the birds, keep doing what you do, don't pay attention to the noise !
What lens did you use for testing ?
The 6D mkii and the (refurbished) 5D mk iii are exactly the same price right now. Can we get an in depth comparison between them? How's the 1080 quality of them both look? How about the DR? I'd love to see the high ISO in video with them shot side by side :)
Thanks!

Thinking of buying the 6d mk 2 as it looks like a great camera.just one question,I've tried tracking birds cars etc but my photos never seem to come out sharp.Any idea what I'm doing wrong.
must be your f-stops or shutter speed
i have the 6D since 2013.
You forgot USB 2.0 to the list of ridiculous specs for a 2017 DSLR. Oh, and sync speed of only 180.
i didn't forget those two specs/features, but purposely omitted them for not sounding hyper-critical.
Chirag Parikh oh will you shut it.
I love the fact that everyone hate the canon 6d II. Because of that I get a 6d II new for 899€ which imho is a steal and make this camera very competitive (the best competitor was the a7 II at 810 or the d750 at 880)
this is a good video thanks. mines in the post so excited.
thanks for the info. very interesting. would love to see a heads up comparison between 70D/80D and 6DII. that's kind of the area Canon seem to be aiming at, in trying to get those people to take the next step up to full frame, which would make that comparison very interesting.
What do you advise me to use lenses with this camera for my work in the studio with Soft Box portrait as well as in the Landscape thanks 🌹🌹🌹
What lenses did you use please?
Hiii.....I am from INDIA I really want to know that which Dslr is the best for me at 1500$ price of canon,,and i also want to full frame dslr for beginner wildlife photographer....please little help me ..
Great info. What lenses did you use?
Hi Peter
I used a Canon EF 16-35mm L f/2.8 II and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 Mk I.
Park Cameras was the 16-35 mm the macro
Hi Peter - Apologies I forgot to list the macro! That was the original EF 100mm f/2.8 non IS
With Dual Pixel AF, is there a reason to use the optical viewfinder anymore?
Optical viewfinders definitely do still have their use. The refresh rate on EVFs and LCD screens is definitely getting better, but there's still nothing quite like seeing things through glass rather than electronics. There are also times (bright days, for example) when using an optical viewfinder is much easier than using an EVF or LCD screen.
Terrific and informative! Thank you!!
would be great if you print out some info about which lenses are used for each example picture, as more than 50% of the image quality is in the lens :P
Why are people squawking about dynamic range, I saw the DPReview, but until I test it under my usage, I will take it as a grain of saly=t.
Thanks for the review,Canon 6DMii.
Great presentation, balanced and not to technical.
And lightened the image in DPP ( the free software with the camera.)
And all the lettering was clear, and the colors looked approximate.
Amazing review ,thanks!
a very balance review.. thank you.
Gracias..!!!
I am falling love with her 😀😀😀... Great review... Every point cover...
I think macro is all about the lens, especially if you have a FF camera
as a hobbyist who is currently shooting on a 60D, this seems like a good choice for me.
Lovely, charming, and enthusiastic, but you didn't introduce yourself. Enjoyed the video very much.
Hi drguffey
Thank you for the positive comments - My name is Amy and I am the Video Content producer for Park Cameras.
its a damn good video.. and i really love 6d mark 2..
Good presentation.. God bless you...
Someone help me , why can't I find 1080p 60fps in my 6d mark ii? I can only find 25 and 50fps
change PAL to NSTC
Are they handing them out for free? 😀
Very nice video. You have done a good job my dear sister...👍
I want be a fotografi but i don't have a techer 😔 i have 6dmark 2 can anyone tech me?
Adobe couldn't open the raw files cause they were to new ?? OK IM confused Im new to photography but I thought Adobe can open any raw files ,,someone explain on this she said it ,
u need to always update ur Adobe.
Impressive Red Kite pics
They say the dynamic range is horrible in this camera :/
its just too good
Im currently shooting photography stills on a 5D Mark4 and very impress with the image quality and dynamic range with my L glass combo. Im very excited to had the 6D MKII to my second body just because of the tilt out LCD and I can also use my L lens glass without an adapter :)
Instagram: Insanelighting
You could get an 80D with even less gimped features, more DR and almost half the price.
"The dynamic range is always improved compared to crop"? You cant be serious. This thing has LESS dynamic range than the 80D. Even the 5DII performs better, and that camera is 10 years old.
Hi there
When I tested it, it seemed to be better.
Beautiful
Was this video filmed with a 6D mk ii ?
If she had only one, then, no.
Shame, would of been a good way to demo the video capabilities.
Sony
Hi Terry
I understand the difficulties here.
Kind regards
Terry
You’re adorable, but more importantly, your review is quite informative.
Excellent..
This video is my last hope! I almost cancelled my order when I read about the DR issue om DPreview.
Hi Strange - It will be a shame if the consumer models have the DR that DPReview have shown. However I was genuinely impressed with the one I tested (a beta model) so lets just hope they are on point when properly released! I'm sure there will be many MANY more tests done by lots of different reviewers to soon.
Park Cameras. I completly forgot to mention that this review was very good. It's rare to find a review that goes into such good details. I subbed!
Just cancel if this is your last hope. DPReview is not biased and the test have been repeated MANY times with many different cameras. Listen an unbiased tester and not a video review by a camera store whose goal is to sell as many 6dii's as possible and if not talk you into a 5div.
Thanks Strange Games, appreciate the sub!
nice video
nice
wow
You & your Review are pretty ☺
Good review ...and you are gorgeous!!
you shoot tame birds, not everyone has such an opportunity
i lern to you....
Brecon beacons haha try yorkshire
the 6D is made for weddings at low light ..not sports . and the 6D mark 2 preforms bad in lower light compared to the regular 6D ..canon is getting lazy ..im pissed!
Wow you must already have a 6D2? New Sensor and new Af and digic 7.
Like you
I love you ,,
I want my camera, gift,
SPONSERED!
Entertaining video, but you are wrong about the dynamic range. It's no better than the original 6d
Hi Justin
We have received a few comments along the same lines! Due to this we will be doing a side by side comparison when the consumer ready stock is available. What I said in the video i do truly believe however as we all know cameras vary and it could be that my original 6D was not performing and therefore has skewed my interpretation of results. A side by side comparison in the future will hopefully give us the truth.
your british accent is dramatic
Hahaha....this device from Canon is really a good joke. Actually Canon by itself is already a joke :)
You are So Beautiful..
"The dynamic range in there is impressive", lady, have you shot with anything other than canon?
dynamic range is impressive? strange .... if its 5d iv its ok but 6d the most worst camera came in 2018
you say every comment perfect camera is.... NO ISNT!
Canon 6D M2 full format version Canon 80D ....
you give people hope.... this camera Okay is .....you say people Please buy This Trash Camera For 2000 $
I'm canon Fan boy Say people If you Gonna buy DSLR full format Buy Canon 5D Mark 4 ...
thats it.......
P.S. end of 2017 5D mark 4 price get down everybody know that!
thank you!
8:25 dynamic range is impressive? you propagating false information. shall we unlike your video?
Hi Max Factor
When using it, I was impressed by it.
Why so aggressive a tone?
If you do not like, then you know what to kiss from both size.
The worse review I have ever seen........
David Hunter
At least better than Kai W photos LOL
Hi David, what was it about the review that you didn't enjoy? We're always looking for feedback on how we can make our videos better.
yeah i totally agree! She cant even photograph, basic tourist photographer..smh
how much canon inc pay you to say this cruppy stuff? it is not profesional reviwe its a mony tallk
rafiasaf100 The camera spoke for itself with excellent results which are more than good enough for most people. The review sticks to the product & doesn't shift. Would you be happier with those other reviews which seem to spend more time trying to sell a Fony & bash Canon for the sake of doing it, well there is plenty of those reviews out there if you do. I however quite like this review, Canon & the 6D Mark 2.
she showed visual proof. where's yours?
paid review by canon. When she says the DR is good, I feel the forced job bruh.
Park Cameras Im just messing around. Good review and it would be awsome when you do a side by side test. Ty.
Orb 2010 u called her a lier and alleged she got paid for saying what she said. If you don’t like the camera move on simple and if it was a joke, it was a poor one must say that.
What paid by Canon are saying??? Have you tested 6D & 6Dii side by side?
My $600 Sony A6000 produce better images & video than this 6dmkii....
_with 4D Focus comparable with Dual Pixel AF_
*_Seriously Canon?!_*
May PoolQueen, Have you handled a 6D2?
can U make something less like a commercial?
I have one and so so so soooo soft :( I miss my Canon 750D
