- Do you like big and powerful machines?
If so, today you're in for a treat!
Track Sleepers Installation System: RF-System and CEAB
Have you ever thought about how challenging it is to construct a railway?
However, with the RF-System and CEAB track sleepers installation system, the work becomes easier and more efficient.
When the front-end loader brings the sleepers, a rail-mounted laying machine, based on Volvo, grabs three of them and places them under the rails, securing them in the designated position.
And that's it! The installation is complete!
Repairing the Railway with PM 1000 URM
Are there machines for repairing railways?
The PM 1000 URM is a remarkable machine that excels in this task. It resembles a train or even a factory itself, repairing 110 meters of track per hour.
This machine removes several layers of ballast from the track bed and recycles it.
The usable stones are reused, resulting in significant savings on construction materials.
Crane - Liebherr LR 13000
The tallest crawler crane in the world is the Liebherr LR 13000!
Its standard height is 236 meters, but in July 2013, a crane reaching a height of 248 meters was constructed at the Emden factory, equipped with a 120-meter main boom and a 126-meter luffing jib.
Today, let's talk about this colossal crane.
Slag Pot Carrier - Kress PELS Series
Steelmaking is always a hot topic.
This is because steelmakers deal with extremely high-temperature molten products.
During steelmaking, the temperature of the metal and slag exceeds 1600 degrees Celsius.
In such high-temperature conditions, steel becomes a liquid itself!
Wheel Loader - Volvo L350H
Take a look at the slag flowing out of the arc furnace.
Doesn't it resemble the entrance to hell?
However, no matter how hot it may be, it's time for clean-up.
Since the slag has cooled down to 1,400 degrees Celsius and solidified, it can be scooped up and transported to the disposal site.
Dragline - CAT 8750
The CAT 8750 dragline is Caterpillar's flagship model used for earth-stripping operations in quarries.
With a massive bucket capacity of up to 116 cubic meters, it collects soil and rocks by being dragged across the ground using a complex system of ropes and winches.
When fully equipped, the boom reaches a length of 132.5 meters.
Additionally, this heavy machinery weighs 7.5 tons.
Vertical Shaft Sink Machine (VSM) by Herrenknecht
How are deep shafts constructed?
Naturally, special machines are used for that purpose.
Let me introduce Herrenknecht's VSM as an example.
This machine bears some resemblance to a dentist's tool used for drilling teeth, except that its drill is incredibly massive.
Once installed within concrete rings ranging from 4.5 to 18 meters in diameter, this drill meticulously cuts through the ground.
Snowplow - Øveraasen TV2200
When there's just a little snowfall, all you need is a shovel to clear the snow from the road.
But what if the surroundings are completely buried in snow?
That's where the Overaasen TV2200, the most powerful snowplow in the world, comes in handy.
This machine can remove up to 12 tons of snow in just one hour, and its snow-clearing operation is not only efficient but also incredibly spectacular.
With its powerful cutters, it breaks down the snow and not only sucks it in with a massive blower but also blows it away laterally up to 35 meters away.
Self-Propelled Forging Manipulator - Dango & Dienenthal
Hydraulic presses are used to manufacture large metal parts such as rings and shafts.
But how are the workpieces transported and flipped during the machining process?
That's where self-propelled forging manipulators like the MSM series by Dango & Dienenthal come into play.
These machines use grippers to grasp red-hot ingots and transport them to the press, rotating them if necessary.
Rotary Cutter - Cutter Soil Mix
Reinforcing soil is not an easy task, but Cutter Soil Mix provides a highly innovative solution to tackle it.
Instead of driving piles or excavating holes to pour concrete, this machine quickly creates soil retaining walls.
The wall is constructed in two stages, with the odd-numbered sections being consolidated first, followed by the construction of the even-numbered sections the next day.
How is the process carried out?
As two massive rotary cutters rotate towards each other, they penetrate the soft soil while an injection device pours a mixture of water and cement throughout the area.
Shovel Truck - Hitachi EX8000-7
The EX8000-7 is the largest among Hitachi's standard shovel trucks.
However, calling it "the largest" is an understatement!
This colossal machine, or rather, monster, weighs a whopping 830 tons!
This is equivalent to the weight of two fully loaded Boeing 747-400 aircraft at their maximum takeoff weight!
To "stand firmly" on the ground, this shovel truck is equipped with a 1.85-meter-wide caterpillar track.
Industrial machines are now a completely new era, manual jobs are gradually disappearing into history.
Thanks for the creators who intented these machines; not only help humanity a lot, but also do they increase productivity.
These monster machines are awesome
I never thought I'd be so fascinated by heavy equipment, but this video has me hooked.
Those machines are fantastic! Correction: Giant machines will leave you in AWE.
I came here to comment this
Nah they left me like awwww
This is either a children’s programme for junior school, or a masterclass in how to talk down to people.
"Awe"
I am inspired by how agriculture machines have empowered farmers to be more resilient in the face of climate challenges.
They have learned to grow more poppies and dope!!!
Especially as their empowerment is a major cause of climate change.
You mean government challenges like Holland and Canada.
What you say is good, but you don't know anything about machines, so you'd be classified as an idiot
Good luck
Lovely information.
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful!
Yes it is so informative
That one train had an armed soldier just standing there riding along 😂
I love it
Giant? Monstrously powerful?
You're confused ;) Otherwise it's a good vid. Well written and narrated too.
I didn’t realize this was an updated version of the children’s movie series “Mighty Machines” until I listened to the script.
Regarding the railroad machines, I recall when Charles Kuralt did a segment in his show “On the Road” featuring the last gang of Gandy Dancers in America.
CAT 8750 - Working Weight - Approximate
5.8-7.5 million kg (13.1-15.9 million lb)
CAT 8750 dragline weighs up to 7.5 Million Kg or 15.9 Million lb. or 7950 short tons or 7500 metric tons (like the first comment said), not 7.5 tonnes.
i couldnt believe when he said it weighed 7.5 tonnes. i was thinking maybe thats the weight for one of its bolts :P
Wait, wait you just going to gloss over that crawler crane? You should’ve made the video only on that insane engineering marvel!
I believe there is a mistake regarding the CAT dragline. It's weight is rather 7500 tons but not 7.5 tons only.
The CAT 8750 specs page says it's 7.5 million kg, I think someone's math was a little off 😂
What do you expect from an AI powered content farm
@@utha2665maths
It's the new aluminum model
@@utha26657,500,000kg (7.5mill kg)? 😂
WTC1 and WTC2 buildings, each was 500,000kg.
so I take it that this video refer to road clearing snow ploughs.
nice
Wow
7:05 I believe that that machine does not weight 7.5 tons!
I am RAWED and I can't find a way to stop!
snow blower 12t a hr? how about 12t a minute!
You're right, it's actually 12,000 tons per hour, not 12! Thanks for catching that mistake!
12t a second😌
@@victimovtalent6036 Actually 3.3t/s
Just stunned at how light that drag line machine is. Looks to be way heavier!
It's 7500 tonnes
@@gauravshah8448 But the narrator puts it at... 7:00
Awwwwww…. You forgot the E
I sure hope Ants never figure out how to start building machines...
Lets those who enjoy not get cought or distroy!!!
"Aw" is a sound. The word you need is AWE. smh
That's Martian airstrip coming into being.
I agree - u misquoted the weight of the Drag line machine by a WIDE Amount - maybe its more like 7500 tons - GET UR FACTS CORRECT
Is this part of the Fluctus channel???
CAT Dragline 7.2 tonnes??????
I went back 4 times thinking i heard wrong.
Bailed out after THAT one.
My apologies for the confusion. You are correct, the CAT Dragline weighs 7,500 tons, not 7.2 tonnes. Thank you for pointing that out!
😮😮
Aw.....
What about the #222,000 weed smuggler mixed with the #233,000 heroin smuggler while run together in random flight as a jet aircraft bringing in up to 5 billion in profit during a trip or two?
There is the 5,000 coke bandit flying 2,000 keys over any border on the planet never once getting spotted ever with its weed and heroin counterparts!!
Interesting video, seems to be some inaccuracies in regard to, for example the capacity of the world's most powerfull snowplough, given that train powered snowploughs are likely in some cases even more powerfull, so I take it that this video refer to road clearing snow ploughs. But that is not what I suspect is inaccurate. We are told this snowplough can clear 12 ton of snow an hour ! 🤔 That seems way below what such a machine should be capable of. I would suggest that something like 120 ton an hour sound more realistic, being two ton a minute.🌬❄🙄
Stay safe, regards from Niels...
Thank you for your insightful comment, Niels! My apologies for any confusion. You are correct, the snowplough can clear 12,000 tons of snow per hour, not just 12 tons. I appreciate your feedback, and I'll make sure to be more accurate in my future content. Stay safe and have a great day! ☃️🌨️👍
@@topaz3094 Actually, a snow plow is a blade that pushes the snow to the side. That machine appears to be a snow blower. Still awesome. It would come in handy on my 2km driveway.
2:06 whose the dude on the train?!?
It's not a SEE-AY-TEE. They're called CAT, like those furry little animals.
Not everyone is knowledgeable in the metric system please use both
There was a lot of wrong facts and misunderstandings in the voiceover in this video...
My apologies for the inaccuracies. I'll address them in the future.
I love it!!!!!!😊
How does anyone really know what the entrance to hell looks like???
It’s AWE.
AWE?
I bet you 100 dollars the Cat dragline weighs more than 7.5 tons....
It's Cat, or Caterpillar, not C. A. T...

Intro still too long for UA-cam. Content didn't start till :30.

Being left in aw sounds terrible. Is aw some kind of sticky stuff?
What about the 1600?
What about the 18,000!!!

Give me inches. Beat and torque.
You may be old school from America but the rest of the world are in metric, including some old schoolers too. I think it's about time to convert, don't you think? 😉😃👍

Welcome to the 21st century. You should also practice your typing skills a bit more or perhaps don't rely on Spellchecker so much.
In aw? As in aw shucks?
I think you should convert meters to feet. So we know what the real length is.
3.28084 feet per metre (to the 5th decimal place). There you go. Welcome to the 20th century. You've still got a lot more to learn before you can be welcomed into the 21st century, but this is a start. Happy learning, Yank.
The metric system is a real measurement too
@@elroyfudbucker6806 Ah, proof that idiots are worldwide. Does it make you feel better to talk down to people? By the term "yank" and the spelling of meter I'm going to assume that you are British. Land of measurement mish mash. How many stone do you weigh? Speed in miles per hour. Fuel consumption in litres per 100 kilometer. Fuel sold by the litre and the gallon. A persons height in feet. Fruit and veg sold by the kilo and pound. Beer in pints. Wine sold by the milliliter. Milk in pints. Building height in meters. Land in acres. Building in square feet but every other area in squared metres. Temp in centigrade but also use Fahrenheit.
And while we are at it. Petrol, a word used for gasoline. Short for petroleum, what gasoline is made from. But then the same people that use that term like to deride Americans for saying "gas". "It's not a gas, it's a liquid". Yes but it is short for gasoline. You know, that proper name for the liquid you are burning in your car.
Clickbait!
I have a hard time accepting as fact something written by a person who can’t spell a 3 letter word.
It’s spelled “AWE”.
You definitely made a mistake on the snow blower. 12 ton a hour is east to do. I could probably do that with my garden tractor snow blower. I’m sure you ment 12 ton a minute. We are all only human, humans make mistakes 😮
My bad! Just a tiny thousandfold error in the video. It's actually 12,000 tons per hour, not 12. Really sorry about that!
There not C A T there just CAT short for caterpillar aslo know as kitty Cats this video is poorly read and worded
Thanks for pointing that out! I'll make sure to read 'CAT' as one word in the future videos. Appreciate your feedback!
*awe not aw
Clickbait photoshop picture. Grow up.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'll keep that in mind for future content.
@@topaz3094 Good on you! Sorry to be rude btw 🙄
i watch the vid. if the thumb has been doctored obviously or the thumb isn't in the vid then i click on the don't recommend button. if the uploader has to lie about the content then i don't need to waste my time as they'll pretty much do anything to get more hits. ethics.
For what the african female was there? For what purpose?
Why is that annoying voice starting most of the words with a W.
Thanks for your input. I'll keep it in mind for the future.
Number one:
Your mom.
Cmon man, getting your basic spelling right when posting
Wow! What a lame effort at explaining these interesting machines. One would think they would have their facts at least partially accurate before posting. Machines were cool though.
another click bait. get off the web
I'm in awe, not aw. Learn to spell.
robot narrator sucks
Haha, guess my human voiceover skills are so smooth they sound robotic! Thanks for the laugh, I'll let my 'robotic' colleague know about the feedback. Cheers!
ooops..... Sorry about that - didn't mean to insult a person - the narration sounded "mechanical" Well a robot doesn't have a sense of humour - you obviously do- Cheeers
What is >>>>>>> aw TOPAZ ? Did you mean to write AWE ??? You many have been only an infant then , but FYI ....when first mentioned the concept of Ebonics as a language was so repugnant as to make totally unacceptable for any consideration at all. Using Ebonics in any way at all , is just too unpleasant for people ...please do not use it . Thanks .
