Big safety tip: When pivoting the scooter handlebar, once you pull that lever up to lock it into place, always also rotate the plastic ring, which acts as a safety for the lever. Lever has some screws which may come lose due to vibrations, the plastic ring will prevent it from unlocking when riding the scooter. If handlebars get loose when riding, you are almost guaranteed to have a crash. Good thing u wear helmet. So do not ignore the plastic ring, just to save one second, your skin will thank you.

Use the suspension in the column of the handlebars. You can get it really cheap or make it your self with some rubber of the inner tube of a tire.
