Cute! My husband surprised me with a trip once, and had secretly packed a bag for me. I resembled the Carol Burnett cleaning lady character, and just kept reminding myself that I would never see those people again.

Don't you just love guys and their style? Yes, some are very trendy but my gang loves wearing ratty tees from high school.(we're now 70, lol) Fortunately, my husband has never told me what to buy or wear, just lets me do my thing. Great story!

Adding the trench made this outfit 100% better but I didn’t care for either of the RL to start with so it could only get better for me. I think your husband probably had a bit of a giggle when he chose these pieces for you.

Love the mystery Mondays. Learn loads. Like today I never knew you could tuck pants before rolling them. Gave a bit of a balloon leg profile. Watching you think on your feet really highlights your skills… especially with garments outside your comfort zone.

Just adding that bandana around your neck already made the whole thing look more 'Emily'. Great ideas to tweak items that on face value we might not be immediately drawn to. I wanted to be a librarian, but that didn't happen. I had an extensive library of books when I homeschooled my kids, I passed them on when we downsized our home. Of course, I kept some that I read to/with my grandkids. This is a great organization system for a home library.

Color- a challenge!. My immediate thought was to wear a denim shirt with a collar pop. The bear has a denim shirt himself. That being said, you look adorable! Cute spring look for you and mom friendly!

Hey Emily, thanks for some more outfit inspiration. It's late Friday evening here in Scotland. So, youve inspired this Boomer for my outfit for Saturday lunch with girlfriends. Have seen a few people wear/style the same outfit as the bear - there's one with a trench coat and scarf that's really cute!
Color may not be your thing but hubby made a very good choice in this pastel green. Good job hubs! And I rly like this look. Definitely my vibe.
