This is easy looking like my definitive classic comic Iron Man. He looks so sick!!! Slowing replacing all my ML with Mafex figures and I'm loving it. Thanks for the review!
@@JohnnyBlaze_616 as long as they are giving us the best versions of all the main important characters like Avengers,X-Men,Spider-Man and all the other major characters I’m good.I’m not a completist so I don’t need all the C and D list obscure characters like Frogman and Stiltman 😂 but if that’s your thing that’s cool too.
I can’t say that u remember really bc I stopped collecting around the beginning of ToyBiz’s run. Maybe like year 2. I was into Xbox and McFarlane at that time and college and stuff. I also wasn’t sure how I felt about all the joints and stuff yet.
Thank you! I’ve heard in the comments that in one episode of the 90’s show it was also referred to as the Neil Armstrong Canon or something like that also. Haven’t seen it myself yet.
I wish they made the 90s Modular Armor instead of the classic version. That's also the one associated with the proton cannon because of the Capcom games. However, I guess that wasn't greenlit by Disney because the master licensee were coming out with one.
Maybe Hasbro releasing their Modular version at the same time had something to do with it. Bit of a coincidence. Same as how the Mafex AOA Magneto was delayed multiple times and than released just after the Hasbro version was released.
That would have to be the Sentinel Peter Parker. Unless we are talking comic designs only. The materials, joints, paint, colours and overall quality blow away any Mafex figs. And I'm a huge Mafex guy - I have amassed 75 of them in the last 6 years.
I'm late to this but there was a short time during the 1970s they drew Iron Man with a nose on his armor! It looked terrible I thought but just so that you know where it came from
Absolutely 100%. If there's any of those as Talker calls 'hasbro dick riders' out there talking smack about Mafex, they've clearly never handled one. Ohhh, Ghost Rider would be an excellent choice...a Danny Ketch. Other than them, my most wants are Punisher, Sabretooth, Nightcrawler, and Beast. The legends Nightcrawler and Beast are fine, but one doesn't have the jheri curl, and the other is too big.
@@Chalor. I own multiple Mafex figures. Their Tiger Stripe Wolverine sucks pretty bad, AnthonysCustoms has a good video on it. They redeemed themselves with their Brown costume Wolverine though, that's the best 1:12 Wolverine figure ever made IMO
Thank you! 🤜🤛. Lolol. It arrived defective from BBTS. The left knee was bent outward. In order to get a refund customers must deface the item and submit photos to the claims department. They let you keep the defective/defaced item if your claim is approved. I thought that was cool. The pic is my quiet nod to BBTS for being dope lol.
It's a proton cannon that's supposed to go with 90s mullet hair Tony who was sporting the modular armor that was in the 90s toon of which, only season 2 is worth watching, the 1st season was atrocious!
@@HappyPursuits rather see other classic Avengers members such as the Vision, Black Panther, Black Knight, Hercules, 1st app Wonderman, Swordsman, yellow jacket, Falcon, Quicksilver, Warbird, Scarlet witch and She-Hulk.
Yes, but that doesn't mean Mafex aren't allowed to make even one figure based on it. They have the Marvel license for a reason. Popular characters and designs sell the most.
Because it was defective. In order to get a refund you have to deface the item and submit it to the claims department. Thanks for your little bit of craziness. Take care.

Good luck replacing countless characters made from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends. Mafex will NEVER do as many characters.

This is a 70s era Iron Man for the most part. The rollerskates were something he used a few times back in the day
That’s hilarious! Big thanks for the share!
Thank you, I appreciate you showing the articulation for the flying pose 👍🏻
5:39 butterfly shoulders reminds me of Toybiz Marvel Legends.

Surprised no answers. But yes! It's also in mvc, called Proton Cannon.
I beat sooo many characters in Marvel vs Capcom with that move alone 🥲 good times……gooood times.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see them come out with the modular version at some point between now and next year for pre-order.
@@HappyPursuits true. Been loving the Mafex line so far.

The cannon is called proton cannon and iron-mans armor in mvc is the modular armor.
It’s originally from the 90’s Iron Man comics
@@JohnnyBlaze_616 this specific proton cannon is based off of the comics instead of MvC huge version
Oh okay! Very cool! Thank you
You’re bugging. The Mafex Spider-Man comic reissue is the best made
Can’t really argue against that. I meant best ML Spidey. Amazing Fantasy is outstanding though. For $30 it’s hard to beat.

Can’t believe I did not pre order this. Looks like my Secret Wars Iron Man as a kid
That’s the one I had! I just looked it up on eBay lol. Those toys were so cool.
The face plate and eye swap outs are a great feature love how those eyes come thru.
Same! I was really impressed by how clearly you can see the eyes and the colors.
That cannon is called a proton cannon from Marvel vs Capcom
Ty bro!!
you just got me so hyped for this fig THANKK YOUU.
So cool 🤜🤛🫡
Its puuuurrrrrfeeeeeeccttt!!!!!!! NEED!!!! WANT!!!!
in one of the gintama episodes, they said it is Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon
Oh snap!!! That’s super cool! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

It's not till you get a mafex that you appreciate how superior they are. Dope figure. I'd love to see mafex release a ghost rider.
