Hello from Ontario, Canada . I got myself a set of watercolour pencils and l did on of your pictures . I love it thankyou for sharing your passion. Take care 😊
You are very talented. Always great to see the painting develop. On a personal note, I prefer it when you use the paint thicker, rather than using a lot of water to great washes like you do in your watercolour painting. Perhaps your next Acrylic painting could be in that style? Great how you great the sky and cloud effect in that style.
Beautiful painting. I'm new to acrylic painting and enjoy watching you paint. I have purchased your beginners book and can't wait to try some of the projects.
Shy, modest - and patient! Not everyone would hold a camera, and presumably edit the film, for no reward other than uxorious gratitude (good word that: I hope it's the right one...).
Oh, and no one doubts that you're a comic genius. I was told that I used too much - I think he meant "any" - water with acrylic paint; he, a now deceased colleague on Painters Online, insisted I should only use acrylic medium - which in 50 years of acrylic painting, I almost never have. He would have criticized your use of water alone, claiming your paint would be underbound - but I think, and hope you agree, that you'd have to water Daler-Rowney acrylics down to homeopathic levels before underbinding would be an issue. They remain my favourite acrylics, both System 3 and Cryla; even their Graduate acrylics are good - not something you could say of student quality oils.

I would be cleaning the brush off in the hedge, perhaps the field, here there and everywhere.

Thanks for this. I’m wondering, when do you use the Langton Prestige 100% cotton paper instead of the regular Langton one?
I don’t. I stick with what I like.
Thanks Charlie.
You’re very welcome.
For acrylics i find the raw umber far too useful to pass up.
Me too.
