- Thanks for stopping by Fulton Road. This month I'll talk about switching, progress on the layout and some new purchases.
Find Mark Rosenberg's excellent New Switch List Generator (V 1.1) at the following link. Please be sure to read the instructions which will help you set up this spread sheet.

Did not care to much about the switching stuff.
It’s you scenery that got my attention. Excellent Work!
Very attention to detail.
Most modelers don’t go that far.👍🏽
Thanks!
Nice job on that road w alll the grass and whatnot
Thank you!
Cool video and channel just subscribed
Thanks.
Reasonly came across this spread sheet application. Nice job on the layout.
Glad you like it!
Really beautiful switching layout with wonderful details. Would have loved to actually see the switching going on in the video. Unfortunately there were cuts done like every two seconds, so that felt a bit rushed to me 🙂. I would prefer to watch longer scences of the switching action, but obviously that´s just my personal taste😉. Keep up the good work, of course I subscribed! I just started a tiny N scale switching layout myself, but I´m still early in the build.
Thank you. I like slow switching and I'd like to show more but it does take more time on a video. Not everyone likes to see all of the moves. I try to strike a balance that will show what I'm trying to explain and provide some entertainment. I think N scale is awesome! Good luck with your switching layout.
Good looking layout! Look forward to catching up on your other videos. Just subscribed. - Paul
Thank you. Hope you find something useful.
very nice switching and layout!
Thank you.
Really sharp looking layout you have… nice Ops…Anthony
Thanks Anthony. 👍
Just found this channel in my recommends. I don't understand any of the stuff you're talking about prior to running trains b/c I know the square root of jack shit about trains and how they operate. Your layout is absolutely gorgeous. How did you do those cracked up roads and concrete?! That looks incredible. Going back thru your other vids now 😎
Thanks for your comments. One of the reasons for the "dump" of videos in January which kicked off this channel was to make the point that few people get to the stage of creating layouts that look like the ones that are so popular. I've made many mistakes and continue to make them. This layout has taken me a long time to get to its present stage and it's not near completion. I'm not the first to make this observation. My encouragement to you is to try stuff, fail, and try again, many times. You'll get there! The cracked roads were inspired by Tom Johnson's work. If you're unfamiliar with his work go over to MRH Forums and do a search for his name. He works in HO. Hang in there.
Sometimes I need lots of coffee. Apparently my brain is not fully engaged yet. I meant to say in that second sentence that "few people get to the stage of creating layouts that look like the ones that are so popular [on their first, second or even third attempt].

Very, very nice-- but--- no RR switches at 1 m.p.h.
Thanks. You're right but I like to take things slow.
The Roadmaster is gonna come unglued if you keep running those 6-axles into the industry tracks
I know! I'll be laying new rail in no time. Thanks for stopping by.
It would have been nice to see a tour, not just switching!
Thanks. I'm working on the May Fulton Road video which is an explanation of the development of my track plan. Hopefully that will provide a "tour" of sorts. I'll talk about the three industries on my layout and how they got to their present positions. I'm glad you pointed that out.
