BAD ACID is a wild exploration of the realm where ego, fitness and vanity collide.
This short film follows Sheila (Kate Hollowell), a self-obsessed aerobics fanatic who accidentally ingests some toxic hair gel while doing her usual morning workout to Aerobisexy vol. 14, transporting her into the world of Aerobics Cult Leader John Flexi (Bonavega). Will Sheila fall victim to chaos and be permanently indoctrinated into FLEXIVM, or did she just take some Bad Acid?
BAD ACID is the latest collaboration between director/producer Sam Fox and fashion/set designer Candice Molayem. The film is inspired by the upcoming collection from Animal Crackers Clothing, also named BAD ACID, and features wardrobe styling from the brand. Original high-energy disco track “FLEXIVM” by DJ Harvey scores the film. BAD ACID is a visual, psychedelic treat that will take you on an unforgettable trip.

That looked a lot more than shrooms! (I'm thinking Datura 🫢😱, or some kinda crank/acid cocktail 😵💫⚡? ...I don't suppose it matters, though.
Also, though it wouldn't apply to this film, sleep deprivation plus stress can do some weird shi*- I've hallucinated harder on 96 hours awake than i EVER have on a trip (and I do know what I'm talking about re: 🫨😵💫🫠... ⚫)
@@bholdr----0 96's pretty damn mad. I pulled 3 days a few times when I was at uni and that was enough to start giving me mild auditory hallucinations. And yeah, it's definitely a deliriant, not a psychedelic getting shown in the video. The former makes you see and perceive things that flat out aren't there, the latter just morphs your vision of things that ARE there.

(Edit: vis-a-vis the 96- I'm pretty sure I was taking micro-naps, wherein one sleeps for less than a minute, but appears to be awake- ultra runners can even do 'sleep-running', where they get into REM sleep WHILE continuing to run their (nutty) 100+ mile races...)

Freakiest thing in this movie was the dancing guy's behavior. I grew up in the 70s and remember Tab soda, big hair, Aquanet hairspray, etc. Good short movie.
Yeah the film is a bit anachronistic. Tab (the original Diet Coke) continued to exist into the 80s but is definitely something associated with the 70s whereas this is clearly supposed to be a spoof of the 80s.

@@fingercloseup4779 "Acid" usually refers to LSD and "bad" indicates a bad trip. In case it happens (doesn't have to), it's pure horror. On top of that, she took it unconsciously, which can happen when you e.g. go out in a club and e.g. don't pay attention to your drink etc.

I think there is a 80s vibe in this film and there is a mastery of some sort of something that you don’t get other films. So there is an added value to the dancing in the music. and so that’s why I congratulate you for this work of art.
I'm gonna assume the joke is that TaB already had the gross chemical taste from NutraSweet, so she didn't notice the taste of the stuff that was spilling into it. Although some people preferred the taste of TaB to Diet Coke. Then there's the tab of acid double entendre to go with the title. Or I'm over-thinking it.

I really like it I thought the design and the set production were great and I think the horror was about how we are so focus on improving that we lose grips of who we are also I think it was also a joke aswell with the being and guessing just how toxic hairspray can be but it really just a really fun and enjoyable film

This went from fun, nostalgic to trippy really fast! This was really good! Loved the colors, decorations, and set designs! I loved that it was over the top with makeup, hair and the exercise routine! That's how it was back in the day 😂😂

No one can understand this horror movie its about acid an type of dangerous lsd LSD users may experience a 'bad trip', which is common when using LSD for the first time. If you have a bad trip, you might experience: extreme anxiety This is the real effecrs of lsd in this movie

The thing about acid is, you can't know if it will be bad or good. Just don't drink it when you feel bad, it could trigger something and turn into a horror experience.
