You don’t gotta play meta to win, homebrews still work in wild if they aren’t dumpster fire. Sure you won’t be top legend with a super optimized deck, but you can still have a positive win rate and play off meta
Nothing feels better than hitting my quest line warlock opponents with a massive holy wrath after duping them all game with the god awful paladin questline getting chip damage in.
if they don't high roll the fuck out of you and have like 7 minions by turn 2 (very possible fuck rogue dude stupid ass class) you can use cards like far watch post, rat, razorscale to slow them down significantly and then lock them out of the game with loatheb stomper neophyte etc to prevent them from actually playing the combo. Its definitely NOT easy but it is doable if you draw perfectly, which is what I was getting at that reno priest CAN win any matchup with good draws unlike most other decks.
What's the reason to not trust hsreplay? I heard it's like only use data from player that was using hsreplay but I also heard another top 20 legend player in wild who says the data is still useful
Hsguru is just significantly better, replay only showing hsreplay data shows significantly less data because of phone players, firestone players, people who don't use tracker, and I believe the Chinese players have their own tracker which is a significant portion of the playerbase
You know at all ranks except 1K Legend, one version of Questline Warlock is in the top 3 decks right? I really don't understand why people are still coping that it's bad. I get that Rogue is far worse for being a power outlier, but like, Quest Warlock is still a Tier 1 deck. It has a better winrate at any ranked bracket then Reno Pally (Not by much mind you) and is not played at 1K Legend, like Quest Warlock. So why is Reno Pally tier 1 but Quest Warlock tier 3?
its not "all ranks but 1k legend" its not that good in legend in general. It has actually dozens and dozens of decks that beat it, the reason Reno paladin is ranked so high is because it specifically does so well against the actual best decks in the game, that dominate everything else. Qlock is really good into like only a few decks that were even rated on the list and none of which are top tier decks outside of reno paladin itself, which again isn't on there because of its wide matchup spread but is there because it specifically handles the best 3 decks in the game and whatever other aggro decks.
also if you're using hsreplay for stats its just objectively wrong whatever you're looking at. Hsguru (D0nkey) is the only website that has even remotely decent stats for wild, which again shows that in legend qlock is 8% playrate after the hype died down and 52% wr, compared to rogue decks that are 3-4% play rate (still low because they weren't overhyped for the first week like warlock) at 53 being the lowest, and 57 being the highest
@@FlareIsGone Then, how does Quest Warlock have 55+ winrate at all ranked brackets bar 1K legend if the deck only beats a few things? You also mentioned in the video that the deck is hurt by disruption that a lot of other highlander decks are running, and even with that it's still at 55% at most ranks? That statement doesn't seem to make sense to me, unless I'm missing something? Also, if Reno Pally is good against the best decks in the game, why do I see so little games on it at 1K Legend? At 10K it seems to do pretty well into anything not Hunter or Warlock.
where are you seeing it having 55% winrate? Again, if you're using hsreplay thats just terrible. Hsguru, which has a significantly larger sample size (not only drawing from people that have deck tracker like Hsreplay) shows that its sitting at a peak of 53% in all of legend, and only gets worse the higher you go up. As well as a lot of the stats for the deck are tied to 2 weeks ago when people spammed the absolute fucking shit out of it and its playrate has dropped so significantly since then as people realize that its not that great. It had 16% playrate 2 weeks ago dropping to 8% now, which means that it has almost no one playing it anymore and the stats are catching up as more and more games are getting played.
Been playing a ton of Reno Paladin deck is so fun lol, tbh the warlock matchup is pretty brutal The Holy Wrath package or the Exodia package are both pretty good too so you can like end the game
Togwaggle druid is metaish? Its my turn lets go!! Well actually I kinda don’t like it compared to my old astral control version but maybe if i refine it..
Well, secret mage is a whole different beast than pretty much anything else and my hot take is that secret mage lobby threatened opr bribed these guys not to mention them in these lists so they can easily ruin the game for everyone else...
And like that you’re my favorite hearthstone creator. Good watching.
Even though metas are a natural thing, I hate having to have to play them if I want to win ANY games
You don’t gotta play meta to win, homebrews still work in wild if they aren’t dumpster fire. Sure you won’t be top legend with a super optimized deck, but you can still have a positive win rate and play off meta
Please don't stop making these videos I'm consuming them before sleeping like a child uses a pacifier and if you stop I *will* cry

We need more of this lol
How are you beating garrote rogue as reno priest? I've also been playing some reno priest, but i keep getting farmed by the rogues.

@@FlareIsGone far watch post... that's a good idea. I've got to the point where I'm running a 2nd razor drake in my etc
