Darkbishop Benedict is such a horriblly desighned card. The shadow spell limitation being printed on such a crazy start of game effect (better the Baku and Genn and they were metadefining for half of the wild lifespan) is just so stupid. Like any spell for priest that is not specifically shadow is just dead in wild for priest, unless it's a part of some scam deck. A silgle card just crapping 70% of all spells a class has is such a huge desighn fail. How many times I wanted to run some priest spell but just couldn't because it's not worth it to cut Darkbishop for a couple of spells.
As someone who plays Reno Druid in diamond 5, I can confirm flares statements, I can play an altered version that only has removal and ways to get theotar, and that deck does far far far better compared to my normally Reno Druid
Healthstone is so broken. It literally removes the only weakness of seedlock. Their low hp. Now they can generate a huge board, do turn 5/6 tamsin consistently, infinite damage, infinite draw and be at 30 hp while doing so. People used to run the XL version to have a better matchup against aggro and now they have 1 card to cover that weakness.
Yanno I was kinda sad they removed Hunter from wild, again, but then I realised literally all I play vs are Shadow Priests, Seedlock and DH. So maybe they've done me a favour.
I know they didn’t intend for Wild to be very balanced, but this is frankly absurd. Wild is made to be the broken meta that allows anything and everything, while standard is the completely broken one. Though personally, I believe that they should actually balance wild, with some form of healthy meta, then the broken stuff goes to Casual.
No creator has any idea if a card is going to be good on release or not. They are just educated guesess. Many people assumed healthstone wasn't going to be worth it over other cards and they guessed wrong. It's just how it is.
Bronze Highlander Warlock here. It actually fun with stupid 3000 dust decks or standard decks veing competitive with my stupid KELW Lock. But competitive decks are what's get you stars... Not fun, but my garbage tier decks fighting garbage tier decks is fun (sometimes). I even appreciate my stupidity of never getting legend, because I dropped HS 2 years ago to sometimes play BG and craft some cards for my Warlock. I would like to have full collection to play very fun decks, but if I wanted to expand my collection... Well, I understand SeedLock and ShadowPriest players
I said this with the introduction of wild way back in the day. Sooner or later it will become an absolute shit show of cards that had no consideration of the ones that came before. Honestly at this point the only thing that'll really help wild is to just go the path of Yugioh and introduce a proper banlist.
who would think a gamemode made to satisfy people who have played hearthstone since day 1 and have full collections would be a bad idea for design? lol, i second the wild banlist but it's gonna cause a big fuss if they do it.
Problem is, even if they nerf these decks, two more will take their places. There's just too much degenerate mana cheat and minion cheat. As painful as it is, we can only accept what our beloved game has become. Team 5 made mistakes in Stormwind, though, fixed them, but never learned.

Lowkey I crafted the togg druid because you mentioned it in your last video and out of 12 games, I drew Yrel in 4, 2 being in my mulligan, 3 I didn't have card draw at all, and in 5 of the games that I had an actual chance to win, they were all pain warlock Fuck modern card design, also I got Talgath of all things in my lvl 50 pass reward, i fucking hate this game
about Darkglare, this cards used to be nerfed (rewoked), but it doesnt happend. And this is going since FoL, where we met last reworked card from wild (twig) and make it only umplayable. That is why this expansion was worst of all. I am not talking about other reworks due we need them since Rise of Shadows and DoD and many expansions more. (ye we get Caverns of Time, but ask about that )
Warlock should not have access to refresh mana crystal. I rather they make cards that force a warlock to destroy their own mana crystal for power. Like a new spell that's a cost 4 mana and says destroy all enemy minions, destroy a mana crystal for each one destroy.
Seedlock with Infinite mana, health and draw. Feels like UI druidstone lol
