I have one of these and I love it. Pro Tip: to reamp in Logic Pro - send your source in Logic to “output 3” which is the “to amp” output and the input in Logic to “input 11” which is the Guitar input on the Sono. It took me a while to figure that out. Also the Two Notes plug-in comes with it!
@@CreativeSauce Thanks again for all of your videos! So helpful! If you ever come to Texas it would be great to say hello! Stay safe and God bless you!
You have done it again Mike with another informative presentation and detailed review. Just when I thought my studio was complete this piece comes along and I have found myself interested in getting one. I like the versatility of this interface and the possibilities it presents. As always, you're the best !
Hi, great review!!! It seems really a very quality audio interface. Comparing the Audient ID 14 Mkii, the "Sono" is really better? If yes, is it better just for the input of the guitar, or is its audio quality higher in all aspects (all inputs and outputs)? A comparative test would be interesting as the price difference is quite contained.
Curious if the tube is easily swapped out? Do we know exactly which 12AX7 tube ships in the unit? While everyone will have their own opinion on the the 2Notes CAB sims, it's been my experience that to fully appreciate what is on offer means buying different cabs from the 2Notes website. I love the CabM so much I bought a 2nd M. As for interfacing, Audient has always been hit and miss depending on the PC, particularly the bus powered models (imo a terrible idea to rely on bus power), what system is your demo on and was integration straightforward or a bit of fiddling around to get the Sonos to perform as expected? Stay safe and well kind man ✌️ 🎶 🎶
hello mike, I hope you are well, would you know if it is possible to connect an audient sono to an evo 16 to expand the inputs via Adat, or would I have to use sp8?
Hi, because the Sono only has 'ADAT In', you could only expand the Sono with either the Evo 16 or Sp8. The main issue is clocking. If you use the Evo 16, you'd need have the Sono as the 'main' or master interface, and the Evo 16 as the 'slave'. In other words, the Sono would be in charge of clicking (sync), and would be the interface you use in your DAW.
@@CreativeSauce Hi Mike, I hope you're doing well. My evo 16 arrived and I managed to make the connections and synchronization , everything went well but the only thing that I still could not solve , in the Studio where my main interface is Audient Sono and all the inputs of the Evo 16 are available , however the two inputs of the Audient sleep don't show up for me. and wanted to use it to expand the capture to 10 inputs. Do you have any idea how I could configure it to use the 10 inputs (2 Audient Sleep + 8 EVO 16)? hugs
@@CreativeSauce Oh, and Mike, I "borrowed" some of your footage with Ricky Tee for an upcoming video. I gave full credits and will link your channel in the description. Sorry, I forgot to mention earlier. Hope this is ok!
Very interesting multipurpose solution. By the way, I have a question: I know that Cakewalk can convert an audio track to midi, but the results are not very convincing. Do you know of any plugins that can convert audio to midi? Thanks for your great content.

Awesome review! Extremely detailed and all of the tones sounded great!! Thanks for including me!
My pleasure man
Excellent Demonstration. Just when I thought I had all the gear I need this comes along. Love your channel!
Haha - cheers Michael. Yeah, this a keeper for me - just too much fun.

Superb showcase! Impressed with the unit and your results

Btw... interface coming closest to this would probably be IK Multimedia AXE
Great review & demos Mike (& Dan!). Looks like a well thought out bit of kit
Thanks for the great review! I love my current Audient, but wish I had the Sono...
The only sensible thing to do, is have both :p
Mate, this looks wicked! A Guitarists' dream interface!

Yet another thing added to my "if I win the lottery" list!
🤣🤣🤣
I'm listening this thru Audient Sono & Sennheiser HD800S
After seeing this review I managed to pick up one of these on ebay for £140. Looking forward to trying it out
10mins in...HEY!! he's still not been abducted by aliens so what IS he complaining about?!😂
Wow! I really love it
That sounded really great - better than a modeller? I'd love to see a comparison... 'cos I'm sure it sounded better than a modeller.
How does this compare to the Axe I/O? Surprised this was not compared, since you uploaded a video on the Axe about a month prior.
Excelente vídeo

450+ cabinets in the Two notes store!
Insane! Surely something for everyone!
Maybe we should try 450 Cabs in one song 😂
@@LonelyRocker lol.... song title "450 Cabs, Just One Song"
@@LonelyRocker Do it!
That would be quite the production! Hmmmmm…quite a stunt 😂

Seriously Mike, you plenty decent on guitar. Don't sell yourself short
How the hell are You playing and dialing the mouse at the same time???))
Did we just see Dan's new studio?
Actually... I think this is the final shot of his old one!
This is indeed the last look at my old studio...my new one will be revealed next week. Gave Mike the honour of the final nod to the old space :)

Talk back?
Ahhhh, a good point! I'm afraid not :(
There's a dedicated talkback button in the Sono software, and you can even use your computer's built-in mic.
Just think, someday we might actually have GLASS bottles again not plastic jugs that rejects call bottles.
“I’m not the greatest of electric guitar players”, and then proceeds to out-play and out-class the other guy. 🙄
