My headcannon is that Klaus is a single dad with Alvis as the eldest child and Pnuema and Logos are the two younger siblings always fighting among each other.

From my interpretation, all three of the Trinity processor cores are more or less AI backup drives of the Conduit/Zohar (and each other) but with less processing power. In order for them to achieve what they needed to in the first 2 Xenoblade games, their primary source of power was the Conduit. They could still function post-Conduit but in a very limited capacity, and only returned to their full strength when Origin was finished. Origin essentially acted as a replacement to the Conduit, of which it was primarily based on and connected to the Ontos/Alvis core crystal (it was never explained how much the role of Pneuma's or Logo's cores influenced the creation of origin). This is why Alpha Alvis was able to become so powerful in Future Redeemed, but he had been split from his conscience due to the hack of Origin by Z. Alpha Alvis focused on his original function, which was to restore Earth based on the data that was previously collected inside him. I'd also argue that the other trinity cores (Pneuma and Logos) were able to stop Alpha as they act as a set of checks and balances against each other (the Ouroboros power and the Sword of the End).
Another way to interpret the power equivalence:
    -Human/Blade Alvis (XC1) = Mythra = Malos
-God Alvis Ontos (XC1 ending) = God Alpha Ontos + Avatar = Pneuma = Logos true form (never seen)
-A Ontos (Future Redeemed) = Pyra
TLDR, Pneuma = Logos = Ontos in XC1 & XC2 because they all draw power from the Conduit. Origin is a replacement for the Conduit based on data archives of the trinity processor, primarily Ontos. Alpha Ontos in XC3 > everyone because he is able to draw power from Origin, but Ontos < Pneuma (Ouroboros) + Logos (Sword of End) as the other two act as a balance check.

That’s a good way of looking at it and makes a lot of sense. My reasoning in the video is based almost entirely on what we have seen of the 3 cores so it’s entirely possible if they were to switch roles, we could see the exact same events play out in an alternate reality with Logos in Pnuema’s role, Pneuma in Ontos’ role, and Ontos in Malos’ role, for example.
Based on your reasoning, could we assume Pneuma and Logos are still drawing power from the conduit in FR? Or are we going off the assumption that they can’t since they aren’t in their human/blade form which is why it takes them both to stop Ontos at full power ie, drawing power from the conduit?

@@DerajjParallax I don't think it's accurate to say any of the three trinity cores are drawing any power from the Conduit when it left at the end of XC2 (to go somewhere else, perhaps that will be revealed in a future Xeno game). Still, all three posses incredible innate power, but they need a higher energy/entity for it to reach reality-manipulation level. It's possible Pneuma and Logos could be drawing some sort of power out of Origin, but it's not their primary place to do so as that's Ontos's role. I speculate this as a possibility because Logos in XC3/FR is probably based on his data from Origin which is based on the backup of his data in the Ontos or Pneuma core crystals. It's not the first time either, as Malos had to restore data from Pyra's core in base game XC2 after the events of Torna. As for Pneuma in XC3, I think her powers primarily resonate and come from affinity links. This is why that core is so heavily tied to the Ouroboros system and why Nia's blade & core powers were able to activate it. The blade system is also meant to act as a check to the evil of humanity as designed by Klaus, so in similar fashion, Pneuma might act as the antivirus software for Origin/Ontos.
Of course literally everything I'm saying is a stretch as the games never clearly define any answers. However, the more the fandom dives into Future Redeemed, the deeper the connections between all three games (and other Xeno media) become. I'm just really glad FR gave us a reunion between the three trinity cores and found a way to tie in Klaus that the main XC3 game left hanging. I also don't think we've seen the last of the trinity core and they will continue to play roles in future Xeno games.

@@Axecon1 Sorry, I meant to say can we assume they’re drawing power from Origin like Ontos is, but you answered that in the post anyway by saying it’s Ontos’ role to draw power from it. It is based on his crystal’s architecture after all.
I also think (and hope) we haven’t seen the last of the Trinity Processor. It, along with it’s three members, has gotta be my favorite part of Xenoblade.

Amazing video!! It's extremely informative, and XC3's (and more specifically FR's) lore continues to prove that it has the greatest lore in the series.

As far as Alvis vs Zanza goes, upon first beating XC1, i interpreted it a bit like Zanza is God in a video game, but Alvis is the one who programmed the game. Zanza only has power because Alvis gave it to him, so Zanza's power is limited but Alvis' is absolute (or at least, nowhere near as limited as Zanza's). However, the "world without gods" that Shulk creates at the end of XC1 is no longer under Alvis' control like Bionis/Mechonis was. He went from being an all-powerful entity to just... a very powerful entity.
So when it comes to comparing Alvis to Klaus, imo it depends on which world Alvis is in. In the world of XC1, Alvis is totally more powerful, its not even a competition. Klaus is a creator, but he doesnt have any real *control* or divine power over what he creates. But considering Alvis after the events of XC1, I think thats where it gets more complex. I agree with pretty much everything you say here regarding this.
Very interesting video! Congrats on 1000 subs!

Thank you, I really appreciate that! And that’s a really neat way to look at it! So you’re saying that because Alvis is the one who granted Shulk the power to recreate the world, he sort of overrides his own control over that world?

I must say that since ontos based its personality on pneuma and logos, id assume they have the combined powers of both, hence why alvis and alpha could do such world-ending things and why the only power that could defeat alpha in the end was the combined powers of logos (implied) and pneuma in the true ouroboros. ontos would be as powerful as klaus since they have the combined strength of logos and pneuma but the difference between them is that ontos physically has that power while klaus i think pretty much used logos and pneuma to create things like the cloud sea and alrest, hence its not HIS power.

    • @DerajjParallax
      @DerajjParallax  Рік тому

That’s true. Good point! It’s funny how the “blade-ification” of Pneuma and Logos not only appeared to limit their abilities (at least while in Alrest), but it also appeared to benefit Ontos who based its personality off them. Essentially Ontos got the best of both worlds.

I think Alvis would win the fight cuz FR proved that Alvis is the strongest one of the Trinity Processor and the most important one too

    But the real question
How many universes did the Archsage create if it can pluck characters to have them fight in its own personal gauntlet?
